Invincible Blood Sorceror

Chapter 206: One by one, i will deal with you

The Faerasa elf’s eyes widened with recognition.

”Sol’vur. You’re the heir. The one the Council just recognized. We heard reports about your power, but we thought they were exaggerated propaganda to build your clan’s reputation...”

”They were understated,” Jorghan corrected.

”Everything you heard was a fraction of what I’m actually capable of.”

One of the Imperial humans stepped forward, his military bearing evident despite diplomatic clothing.

”I am Legate Marcus Vrelli of the Imperial Diplomatic Corps. By what authority do you attack this facility? Earth is neutral territory, not subject to inter-realm conflicts. Your presence here violates multiple treaties and—”

”I don’t care about your treaties,” Jorghan said flatly.

”The Empire has been harvesting elves from my world for years. Capturing them, experimenting on them, killing them for research. You’ve forfeited any claim to moral authority or diplomatic protection.”

He took a step forward, and the security forces raised their weapons despite their obvious fear. ”Everyone in this hall falls into one of three categories. Those directly responsible for the attack on my settlement—you die. Those who serve the Moorne Corporation in a military or administrative capacity—you die. Those who are simply present by circumstance or coercion—you leave.

Now.

Before I lose patience with categorization and kill everyone indiscriminately.”

Chaos erupted.

Staff members broke for exits. Some executives tried to claim they’d always opposed the Earth operations. Security forces looked to their commanders for orders that weren’t coming.

Luke’s voice cut through the panic.

”JORGHAN! Please! These people aren’t all guilty! Half of them don’t even know what happened at your settlement! You can’t just—”

”I can,” Jorghan replied, his molten eyes fixing on his half-brother.

”There is nothing I ’can’t’ do. The only question is what I choose to do. And right now, I’m choosing to explain the rules to everyone assembled.”

Luke watched the entire massacre and was scared shitless. He had underestimated Jorghan greatly. What he did was a one-sided slaughter. There was nothing that could stop him.

He raised his voice to address the entire hall.

”The Moorne Corporation authorized an attack on elven settlements in my world. Those warriors killed over a dozen of my people. They murdered a woman named Scarlett and took another woman named Grace.”

His blood essence manifested visibly around him, crimson energy swirling in patterns that made the air itself seem to thicken.

”I have come to collect what was taken and destroy everyone responsible.”

Jamie Moorne finally spoke, his voice tight with controlled fear.

”Grace is my wife. She belongs here, with her family. Whatever you think you’re doing is—”

”She belongs where she chooses,” Jorghan interrupted.

”Not where you imprison her. I’m going to find her, and she will come with me.”

He looked around the hall, his blood-flow detection ability showing him exactly how terrified everyone present actually was. Hearts racing, blood pressure spiking, muscles tensed for flight.

Good.

Fear was appropriate.

Fear might save some of their lives.

*

The Great Hall emptied rapidly as the countdown ticked down. Staff members fled through every available exit. Low-level executives abandoned their posts without hesitation. Security forces who’d been stationed inside the residence rather than fighting outside made the wise choice to retreat.

Within forty seconds, the vast space that had held over a hundred people now contained less than thirty.

Those who remained were either too paralyzed by fear to move or knew they were too deeply complicit to escape judgment.

Jorghan stood in the center of the hall, his eight-foot-four Primordial form radiating power that made the air itself feel heavy. His pale red skin glowed faintly in the chandelier light, his black-green tattoos pulsing with each heartbeat, his molten eyes tracking every remaining person with predatory focus.

Then, deliberately, he began to retract the transformation.

[PRIMORDIAL FORM: DEACTIVATION]

[Reverting to human appearance...

Height reducing: 8’4” → 6’

Skin pigmentation normalizing: pale red → standard flesh tone

Eye luminescence: reducing to normal crimson]

[Bloodline Integration maintained at 86%

All abilities remain accessible despite visual changes.

Intimidation factor reduced but lethality unchanged]

His body shrank, the massive elven warrior form compressing back into the frame of a short human male. The pale red skin faded to normal coloring. The glowing tattoos receded back to his neck tattoo. His eyes dimmed from molten fury to the deep crimson that was his baseline.

Within thirty seconds, the terrifying eight-foot monster had been replaced by a six feet young man who looked almost unremarkable except for his eyes and the blood-soaked clothing he wore.

Almost unremarkable.

Except everyone in the hall could still feel the power radiating from him and could still sense that what they were seeing was just a mask over something far more dangerous.

”I prefer this form for conversations,” Jorghan said, his voice returned to its normal pitch.

”The Primordial Form is useful for intimidation and large-scale combat, but it makes dialogue difficult. People have trouble thinking clearly when they’re staring at something their hindbrain recognizes as an apex predator.”

He was just talking, although no one was registering his words as they were terrified of him right now. He only transformed back to human form, but the overwhelming pressure he was releasing was still present.

He walked forward slowly, his footsteps echoing in the now-quiet hall. The remaining crowd parted instinctively, creating a path toward the raised platform where the most important figures stood.

That’s when the door at the back of the platform opened.

*

She entered flanked by two guards who looked uncertain about whether they should still be guarding her or should have fled with everyone else.

Grace Moorne appeared exactly as Jorghan remembered from the brief time they’d spent together before her capture: brown hair, delicate features, and a slender frame that suggested fragility despite hidden strength.

But her expression was different.

Not the cautious optimism she’d shown before. Not the growing trust she’d begun to display before the Terraspers attacked.

Now she looked terrified. Her eyes were wide with fear, her hands trembling slightly, and her body language screaming that she wanted to be anywhere but here.

When she saw Jorghan, even in his human form, she gasped and took an involuntary step backward.

”Grace,” Jorghan said quietly.

”Aren’t you all better here? You look good.”

Grace didn’t answer. Her eyes darted to Luke, who stood near the platform’s edge, then to Jamie beside him. She moved toward them instinctively, positioning herself between Jorghan and the two men, as if her presence could shield them from violence.

”Please,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

”Please don’t hurt them. Whatever you think they did, whatever you’re planning, just please don’t hurt my family.”

Jorghan’s expression didn’t change, but something cold settled behind his eyes.

”Your family attacked my settlement. They killed Scarlett; isn’t she like your daughter? Why are you protecting them?”

”They’re my husband and my son,” Grace replied, her voice becoming slightly stronger despite the fear.

”Jamie is... we have problems, but he’s not a monster. And Luke is my child. I carried him for nine months. I raised him. You can’t ask me to just let you kill him.”

Jorghan stared at her and the two men behind her. They didn’t even consider Scarlett as her family, and they don’t have any remorse.

Jorghan shook his head; he’d been a fool in thinking that these people were human or had any emotion.

”I’m not asking permission,” Jorghan said flatly.

”I’m trying to understand why you’re defending people who burned Scarlett alive.”

Grace’s face crumpled slightly at the mention of Scarlett, grief flashing across her features.

”I know. I know what they did. And I hate it. I’ve been screaming at Jamie and Luke for days about how wrong it was and how they should never hurt her. But that doesn’t mean I want them dead. That doesn’t mean I want to watch you kill them in front of me.”

She looked directly at Jorghan, tears beginning to stream down her face.

”I don’t want to go with you. I know you came here to take me, but I don’t want to leave. This is my home. Luke is my son. My life is here, not in the alien settlements. Please understand that. Please just... leave us alone.”

The words hung in the air like a death sentence.

Jorghan stood perfectly still, processing what he’d just heard. He’d crossed the void between worlds. Killed hundreds of soldiers. Risked everything to reach Earth and to see this shit before him.

Jorghan had a clear mind, thinking about other things; he had control over the things in his lif,e but not this. He can’t seem to move on from these people. He could kill them in an instant, but that would only make them die fast and not feel the agony he had been through.

And she didn’t want to be freed. Didn’t want to go with him. Wanted him to leave so she could stay with the family that had authorized Scarlett’s murder and the attack on his people.
