Mind-Controlled by the Villainess? I’ll Turn the Tables and Make Her Mine!

Ansu roughly categorized the magic skills he had just acquired and decided to prioritize mastering 【Slaughter Sacrifice】.

After all, he was still thinking about reverse-sacrificing his cultist colleagues...

To master this move, he still had to finish learning Ancient Enus, as well as the prerequisite skills 【Sacrificial Art】 and 【Ritual Magic Knowledge】. It had to be said that the time was tight and the task was heavy...

He even felt a faint pain in his liver from the thought of the workload.

For the time being, Ansu prepared to study day and night without food or sleep! He was about to enter his exam-grinding overachiever mode!

While he was lost in thought, the small pot on Celia’s side had already begun to gurgle. She excitedly scooped up a bit, blew on it, and then closed her eyes to taste it.

”Hmm... not bad, the magic elements are blended well.”

She looked at Ansu lying on the bed with a smile and walked to his side.

”Ansu, it’s time for your medicine~”

As soon as Ansu saw the blackened medicinal soup and smelled the strange odor in the air, his face turned just as dark.”Celia... do I have to drink it? Honestly, I’m really not sick...”

Ansu sat up like a corpse springing back to life, constantly trying to demonstrate his health to Celia.

”Look, aren’t I quite energetic now? It was just a bit of heatstroke earlier, there’s no need to drink something like this, right?”

Heaven only knew what the witch had added to it; he even sensed a weird, chaotic magical aura...

”No! You must drink it, it’s good for your body!”

Celia set her face sternly and threatened Ansu fiercely, ”If you don’t drink it, then I’ll force-feed you! Come on! Open your mouth!”

Ansu looked at Celia imploringly.

Seeing his pitiful expression, Celia pursed her lips. Although her heart softened slightly, she still gently brought the spoon to his mouth.

”Be good~”

”Come on, open wide.”

Ansu couldn’t win against the domineering Miss Witch and could only helplessly open his mouth.

After cautiously taking the first sip, Ansu’s throat flared with heat, feeling as if he were swallowing lava...

But just as his face began to contort, he suddenly felt his entire body cool down in the next second, as if he were standing in a breezy autumn season; his whole body felt exceptionally comfortable.

”That’s amazing...” Ansu blinked in surprise.

”Of course it is, who do you think I am!” Celia curled the corners of her mouth proudly.

”Believe me now? Why would I lie to you! This is a potion I meticulously concocted; it’s more effective than any heatstroke medicine on the market! It even replenishes water, provides nutrients, and boosts energy!”

”It sounds like a health supplement...” Ansu felt a bit more relieved and began to drink while holding his nose.

While one was feeding and the other was drinking in the room, Professor Duncan’s incredibly astonished voice came from the doorway.

”Wait, there’s a battle going on! What are you two doing?”

Ansu and Celia looked outside toward Professor Duncan.

The sounds of slaughter were drawing closer. The shadow wolves had already broken through the defensive line at the village entrance. Several clergymen were huddled together in panic as a large shadow wolf lunged at them at high speed.

”Damn! It’s coming! It’s coming right at us!” Professor Duncan hurriedly fled into the broken house, only to be startled by the pungent, strange medicinal smell.

”Ansu... are you injured?” Professor Duncan looked at Ansu lying on the bed with a confused expression. ”When did this happen? I thought you were fine just now?”

”Uh... I had heatstroke.” Ansu’s smile was a bit awkward.

”Heatstroke?” Professor Duncan was stunned for a moment, then said speechlessly, ”That’s hardly an illness. You’re lying here, and I thought you were wounded! Honestly...”

He immediately focused on the outside of the house. With a series of thunderous gunshots, Eddie, holding a lever-action rifle, fired continuously. Large-caliber alchemical bullets hit the giant shadow wolf, instantly blowing the monster into a pile of shredded meat.

Eddie wiped away cold sweat and brought another student into the room where everyone was gathered.

”Professor, what should we do! It looks like these monsters won’t be driven back anytime soon!”

Ansu and Celia exchanged a glance, and Celia whispered, ”Do you need me to take action?”

The situation this time was different from the one at night. With such a massive number of monsters, and even other species besides shadow wolves, such as magic spiders... there was definitely someone controlling them from behind.

Professor Duncan had not yet realized the severity of the situation. ”I think this is a good opportunity. Once the team drives back the monsters, we can use that as an excuse to have the captain let us return the way we came, so we can split the team...”

Ansu frowned slightly; these monsters wouldn’t be driven back anytime soon...

According to the simulation, a large pack of monsters would besiege them for two full days and nights. Only after the local lord brought troops to support them would the two teams be able to separate...

Ansu already knew the route to the ancient ruins and eventually that altar; if he wanted to speedrun this, he couldn’t afford to waste these two days.

”It’s better to help out.” Ansu immediately began to give instructions. ”Miss Hailey can use magic, but it shouldn’t exceed the 3rd Circle. If they ask, just state your noble status. A magic enthusiast with a noble background is actually quite common; the Inquisition of Heresy wouldn’t want to make things difficult for a noble.”

”Mhm.” Celia nodded gently.

Ansu then looked at Eddie, ”Senior, how many alchemical rifles are left? Give them all to me, and give me more bullets!”

Eddie searched for a moment and quickly handed over two guns: one was a double-barreled shotgun, and the other was a lever-action rifle.

Ansu glanced at the massive caliber of the two guns, thinking that these things really packed a punch...

During that endless slaughter at the underground altar, his magic hadn’t improved much because his mana was exhausted, but his marksmanship had become increasingly proficient. Once he opened fire with full power in a moment, the monsters should be driven back quickly.

After Professor Duncan and the other two left one after another, Celia touched Ansu’s forehead worriedly. ”Maybe you shouldn’t go, just leave it all to me...”

”No.” Ansu immediately shook his head. He was afraid the Miss Witch would get carried away with the killing and accidentally expose her powerful magical strength.

”I think you should rest for a bit and relax...” Celia pursed her lips. Besides Ansu’s outward condition, his preoccupied look from earlier also worried her, because Ansu had never been this strange in front of her before...

”I’m really fine!” Seeing the Miss Witch’s brows still slightly furrowed and her reluctance to let him go, Ansu leaned forward and smilingly approached her cheek.

Under Celia’s confused gaze, Ansu held her shoulders and a gentle kiss landed on her forehead.

The sunlight from outside the window spilled in, softly falling on both of them.

This was a pure and tender kiss, devoid of any ulterior motives, like the most sacred blessing when the church bells echo.

”Thank you, Miss Witch~”

Ansu smiled at the dazed Celia, took the two guns, and left the room.

The room fell into silence, with only the sunlight still flowing soundlessly.

Celia’s eyes widened slightly.

...Eh?

Her eyelashes fluttered gently, and a sense of ignorant bewilderment flowed in her eyes.

Ansu just...

Kissed her?

When she realized this, Celia’s heart suddenly accelerated, and a flush of crimson quickly stained her cheeks; she felt her entire face burning...

But at the same time, an indescribable warm current quietly flowed in her heart.

Celia gently touched the spot on her forehead where he had kissed her, her gaze softening as she looked at Ansu fighting outside the room.

Honestly... why did he suddenly kiss me for no reason?

Why is Ansu being so strange this time...

But regardless, Celia’s mood became exceptionally good. The corners of her mouth rose unconsciously as she slowly walked toward Ansu’s side.

Hmph! Since he kissed me, I’ll reluctantly let him off for now!
