Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

How could the Black Whale’s Physical Body, no matter how strong, withstand the Heaven-Cleaving Earth-Sundering Divine Axe? Bright red Demon Blood dyed the sea a shocking crimson. The Black Whale’s massive body bobbed in the ocean, grievously wounded, his eyes filled with pain.

”Thunderbolt Seven Absolute Slashes!”

Without giving the Black Whale a chance to breathe, Su Han brandished his Black Blade and channeled his full strength. He summoned thunder from the sky, forming a 300-meter-long blade of thunderfire that slashed rapidly toward his foe.

Kick him while he’s down! This is a battle to the death. Su Han’s spirit was stretched taut; he dared not let his guard down for a single moment.

But the Black Whale was, after all, the Imperial Son of the Jing Tribe. He was not only powerful but also immensely experienced in combat, and he quickly recovered his composure.

”Teleportation!”

The Black Whale executed the Art of Teleportation, instantly reappearing 900 meters away, but the blade of thunderfire pursued him relentlessly, continuing its descent.

SPLASH!

The Black Whale dove deep into the sea. The blade of thunderfire slashed into the ocean’s surface, carving out a massive vacuum, but the beast had successfully avoided the deadly blow.

”Earth Rank High Level Martial Technique: Sea Stream Piercing Cloud Technique!”

The Black Whale quickly attacked again, commanding the seawater to form a hundred-meter-thick current that shot skyward like a Divine Spear, aiming to impale Su Han.

Su Han, holding the Black Blade, swiftly chopped down and split the stream of water apart. At that moment, the Black Whale’s figure resurfaced. The bleeding from his wound had already stopped, but his Aura had weakened considerably.

”Su Han, you have successfully enraged me!” the Black Whale roared, his huge eyes burning with fury. His strength surpassed Su Han’s, yet he was constantly being restrained. Su Han’s endless stream of techniques left him vulnerable, and now, even his prized physical resilience had proven inferior. This was unacceptable.

”Intermediate Grade Forbidden Technique: Bloodline Reversion!”

Enraged, the Black Whale directly used a Forbidden Technique, determined to overpower and defeat Su Han. Martial Techniques, Divine Skills, Holy Artifacts, Physical Body—in all these aspects, the Black Whale had failed to gain the upper hand. With the activation of the Forbidden Technique, the situation changed abruptly.

Feathers sprouted from the Black Whale’s fins, transforming them completely into wings, but his body remained the same. Evidently, his bloodline was not pure enough to allow a full transformation into a true Kunpeng. Nevertheless, under the effects of Bloodline Reversion, his Combat Power increased dramatically, bringing him infinitely close to the Supreme Realm.

”Kunpeng Extreme Speed!”

With a single flap of his wings, the Black Whale’s massive body erupted with a speed that defied its size. He turned into a streak of light, faster than lightning, and shot straight for Su Han. The turbulence he stirred up distorted the surrounding space, preventing Su Han from using Teleportation.

THUD!

Su Han deployed his strongest defense and braced himself with his robust Physical Body, but he was still sent flying as if struck by a speeding meteor. His internal organs ruptured, several of his ribs snapped, and he was left heavily injured. Fortunately, he was in a Demonized State, and his extraordinary Recovery Power allowed his wounds to heal quickly.

But the Black Whale attacked again, knocking Su Han through the air a second time and worsening his injuries.

”Kunpeng Strike!”

The Black Whale’s wings, like two Heavenly Blades capable of cleaving the heavens and sundering the earth, chopped down viciously toward Su Han. Space tore like a thin sheet of paper. The bright gleam of the strike was like a bolt of lightning, capable of severing anything.

Su Han’s strongest defense was instantly penetrated. His formidable Physical Body was sliced open, leaving a bloody wound that nearly ran him through.

The legendary Kunpeng Divine Beast possessed two Innate Divine Beast abilities: Devouring and Extreme Speed. If Su Han had cultivated his Character Technique of Motion to the state of Great Accomplishment, he might have been able to match the Kunpeng’s speed. As it was, he was outmatched and could not dodge the Black Whale’s attacks.

Now that the Black Whale had used a Forbidden Technique for Bloodline Reversion, he possessed a portion of the Kunpeng’s Might. His strength had soared, and he battered Su Han, leaving him covered in wounds and unable to defend himself.

Gradually, more and more wounds appeared on Su Han’s body, and even his Demon Body could no longer recover fast enough. If this continued, he would not only face defeat, but his very life would be in danger.

Although Su Han had many tricks up his sleeve, he was still inferior to the Black Whale in terms of raw power. Moreover, his Shore Flower Clone and two Holy Artifacts were tied up by the Kunpeng Holy Feather and could not assist him, plunging him into an even greater disadvantage.

”Su Han, die!” the Black Whale spoke coldly, his killing intent palpable. He caught up to Su Han with his Kunpeng Extreme Speed and then struck him with a Kunpeng Strike. These two moves alone rendered Su Han defenseless, making his various Origin Techniques and Divine Methods almost useless.

”Primordial Qi Opening Sky Axe!”

Su Han once again executed his Origin Technique. A hundred-meter-long Divine Axe materialized once more, slashing toward the Black Whale with heaven-cleaving, earth-sundering might.

CLANG!

The axe struck the Black Whale’s wing, sending sparks flying like a clash of metals. The Black Whale’s attack was blocked, and a wound was inflicted upon his wing. This showed that the Primordial Qi Opening Sky Axe was still slightly stronger than the Kunpeng Strike.

But the Black Whale had two wings; while one was injured, the other remained. Su Han, however, could not use his Primordial Qi Opening Sky Axe in quick succession. Soon, he was forced back onto the defensive, relying on his Black Blade and Golden Emperor Tanyang Fist to parry the blows.

BANG!

Su Han was knocked down, plunging into the sea with a great splash. The blood-stained water made him look battered and broken.

”Secret of Healer!”

The Recovery Power of his Demon Body could no longer keep up, forcing Su Han to use the Secret of Healer to instantly mend his injuries and return to the fight. Unfortunately, the Secret of Healer could only heal wounds and did not enhance Combat Power. Su Han was still at a disadvantage, being relentlessly pressured by the Black Whale.

As time wore on, Su Han was pushed back step by step. Wounds reappeared on his body, and blood flowed continuously, causing his Aura to grow steadily weaker.

Su Han gritted his teeth and persevered, using his Nine Heavens Eye to search for an opening to counterattack. However, the Black Whale, empowered by the Forbidden Technique, was simply too strong. He could crush any opening with sheer force.

He spat out mouthful after mouthful of blood. His face was pale, his gaze dim, and his Aura waned. His spirit flagging, he was pushed to his absolute limit, barely able to hold on.

”This final strike will send you to your grave!” The Black Whale’s eyes flared with murderous intent. His wing lit up with a dazzling light, and like an unrivaled Heavenly Blade, it slashed down fiercely.

CRACK!

Space itself was cleaved open. The blade’s edge was so sharp it seemed it would split both Su Han and the space around him in half. Gravely injured and on the brink of death, Su Han had no way to withstand this strike.

However, just then, his eyes brightened. The Jie Character Secret he had been channeling was finally triggered.

The Jie Character Secret could instantly boost one’s Combat Power tenfold.

”Golden Emperor Tanyang Fist!”

Su Han’s eyes flashed fiercely as he clenched his left fist. Boosted by the Jie Character Secret’s tenfold power, he unleashed a kilometer-wide Golden Fist Radiance.

BOOM!

The Golden Fist Radiance shot across the sky, shaking the Void. It shattered the incoming blade attack and continued onward with undiminished momentum, slamming viciously into the Black Whale.

The power of that single punch sent the Black Whale flying. He vomited blood as his bones shattered, collapsing in a heavily wounded heap.
