Invincible Beyond Heavens: Cultivating With A Broken EXP System

The island was covered in enormous plants that looked as if they had come from ancient times. They emitted an old and desolate aura.

Among the ancient trees, demon beasts roamed freely.

Each demon beast was thousands of meters tall and released an incredibly powerful aura. Yet they were not frenzied at all. On the contrary, they appeared exceptionally docile.

”This island is Elder Qing’s secluded residence. If not for this Genius Training Camp, it would not be open to outsiders.”

The middle-aged man in green robes spoke calmly.

”All the plants and demon beasts on the island were personally cultivated and tamed by Elder Qing. Remember, none of you are allowed to provoke any living creature on this island. Otherwise, you will bear the consequences yourselves. Do you understand?”

”Yes.”

Everyone nodded hastily, and their hearts tightened.

The weakest demon beasts on this island were comparable to experts at the 7th level of Spirit Manifestation Realm, while the vast majority were comparable to 9th level Spirit Manifestation Realm experts.

Yet all of them had been tamed by Elder Qing and allowed to roam freely on this island.

Such strength and boldness made everyone yearn for that level and feel immense admiration.

”Good. Follow me down.”

The middle-aged man in green robes nodded.

With a flick of his wide sleeves, he led Li Yun and the others downward.

Strangely, during the descent, the middle-aged man did not descend in a straight line. Instead, he constantly turned and circled.

Clearly, Elder Qing had placed restrictions around this island.

If one did not know the specific method of entry and barged in blindly, even a 9th level Spirit Manifestation Realm expert would likely be killed instantly by the restrictions.

After a full fifteen minutes, Li Yun and the others finally reached the ground.

The moment they landed, they saw a massive statue standing before them.

This sight immediately caused many people’s hearts to tremble.

The statue was a full thousand meters tall and was carved into the likeness of a giant black dragon. It looked incredibly lifelike, and a powerful pressure radiated from its entire body.

Its eyes were especially terrifying.

They looked like the eyes of a living creature.

The pitch-black eyes were half-open and half-closed, with blood visible at the corners. They were like terrifying vortices. With just one glance, a horrifying blood-colored evil qi rushed toward the viewer, causing the mind to tremble and making it difficult to maintain self-control.

”Ah!”

Two people could not help crying out in alarm.

It was as if they had seen something extremely terrifying, and their bodies subconsciously retreated several steps.

”Hm?”

The middle-aged man in green robes immediately furrowed his brows.

His voice turned cold as he spoke without mercy.

”You two do not need to enter the training camp. Someone will take you away shortly.”

”Why?”

The expressions of those two people changed instantly.

They had worked so hard to obtain the qualification to enter the Genius Training Camp, yet they were being told to leave just as they had arrived.

What was the meaning of this?

”You still ask why?”

The middle-aged man in green robes looked at them coldly.

”In truth, from the moment you stepped onto this island, your training had already begun.”

”This statue is your first trial. What it tests is your will.”

”If you cannot even withstand the will of this Black Dragon Statue, then with such weak will and such shallow martial conviction, what right do you have to establish yourselves in the Genius Training Camp?”

”The Genius Training Camp only wants true geniuses and elites. It does not want trash, mediocrity, or incompetent people. You two have already been eliminated.”

The middle-aged man in green robes spoke with extreme coldness.

His words were like a sharp sword piercing their hearts. The faces of those two people turned incredibly pale, yet they were unable to say a word.

Several other cultivators could not help breaking out in cold sweat.

Just now, they had almost ended up like those two people. They had nearly failed to hold on to their state of mind and almost faced elimination as well.

Fortunately, they had endured at the final moment, but this also made their hearts grow heavy.

This was only the first trial at the entrance, before they had even formally entered the Genius Training Camp, yet two people had already been eliminated.

This showed just how cruel the training camp truly was.

With their ability, could they really establish themselves here?

”Alright. The rest of you, continue following me.”

The middle-aged man in green robes ignored the two soul-crushed cultivators and led Li Yun and the others further ahead.

The path ahead gradually widened.

After a short while, a stretch of continuous stone houses appeared before everyone.

Each stone house looked extremely ordinary, with nothing remarkable about it.

In front of that stretch of stone houses stood a massive stone tablet.

On the tablet, there were hundreds of names arranged from top to bottom. The higher a name was placed, the more eye-catching it became.

Especially the name at the very top.

Mu Tu.

Those two words shone brilliantly, flickering with intense golden light that seemed to suppress all the names below.

”This is where you will live for the next year.”

The middle-aged man in green robes spoke.

”Do you see that stone tablet? That stone tablet is called the Ranking Tablet. As the name suggests, it records the rankings of all cultivators in the Genius Training Camp.”

”There are already more than seven hundred and eighty names on it. They belong to the Spirit Manifestation Realm cultivators who arrived before you. From today onward, all of you will also participate in the competition for these rankings.”

”Remember this. In the Genius Training Camp, ranking is always the most important thing. Those with high rankings can enjoy better treatment and become stronger and stronger. Those with low rankings will receive poorer treatment. Once you fall behind, making a comeback will become even more difficult. And if you remain at the bottom for too long, you will be directly eliminated.”

”I know some of you have the status of elite members or core members, but your status only has a three-month protection period. If your strength is insufficient after three months, your status will be stripped away, and you will become ordinary members.”

”So for now, there is only one thing you need to do. Increase your strength and improve your ranking.”

The middle-aged man in green robes spoke calmly.

However, his words made many people’s hearts shiver.

Clearly, the cruelty of the competition in this Genius Training Camp had exceeded their expectations.
