The Number One Star in the Interstellar Era

Chapter 21 - THE MOST IRRITATING MAN

ASTRID quickly swam ashore. When he was out of the lake water, he wanted to get away from this place immediately but his body wouldnʼt just cooperate. He stumbled forward and fell on the ground. His whole body was racked with uncontrollable coughing. Mostly from the lack of breath he experienced from being underwater for quite some time.

Just who the heck was that lunatic? This was a private property. A part of their familyʼs land. How did he get in here? Was he some kind of criminal? He probably was. Maybe he was even trying to kill him or something.

Wait- would that guy drown there? He didnʼt hold back when he used his mental strength earlier against him. Well, let him drown. He probably did society a favor by drowning that lunatic. Okay. Thatʼs a bit cold-hearted. Heʼd fish him out after heʼs done coughing his life out.

But before he could do so, he felt a shadow casting over him. He didnʼt even have time to raise his head because his chin was suddenly grabbed by pretty strong fingers. Even without opening his eyes, he had a feeling that he would see that lunaticʼs pair of golden eyes.

When he did open his eyes, he was still shocked by the visual impact that hit him. In front of him was a man. His white hair was wet from the lake water. His pair of golden eyes were staring arrogantly down at him. Water droplets were falling from his hair down to his bronzed-colored skin. He couldnʼt help but follow the path that those drops of water were taking.

And thatʼs when he realized that the man in front of him was actually naked! He quickly stopped his wandering eyes before he could actually see the guyʼs dangling ʼlittle brotherʼ.

Feeling the otherʼs grip on his chin, anger rose in him. Thinking that the other was naked while doing so, that anger was quickly accompanied by humiliation.

”Let go,” he bit out, glaring at the man in front of him.

And then he just realized another thing. How did this person got here so quickly when he attacked him with the full power of his mental strength? No way- could it be? To test his guess, he used his mental power against him once again. And one again, nothing happened. He didnʼt even let go of his chin.

Instead, he smirked. ”Make me.”

Astrid wasnʼt sure what shocked him more, the fact that his mental strength didnʼt work on him or this personʼs seemingly never-ending arrogance.

His mental force not working against this person could only mean that they had an equal level of mental strength. Meeting someone with an SSS level mental strength other than him, this was the first time.

And it really had to be naked lunatic.

Make him let go of his chin, was that it? Fine. Heʼd do just that. Since thereʼs already a perfect target dangling right in front of him. He couldnʼt use his mental strength? Then heʼd use another method available to him.

He took out the small knife strapped to his ankle and without taking his eyes off of the otherʼs face, he pointed it at the manʼs dangling ʼlittle brotherʼ. ”Let go or Iʼll chopped off this thing between your leg.”

Wulfric visibly stiffened. This was probably the first time his ʼlittle brotherʼ down there was threatened like this. He almost had an urge to close his legs because of it. But at the same time, he couldnʼt help but burst out laughing. Looking at those black eyes that seemed to be filled with cold fire, he knew that this little guy would definitely do what he just said.

So, he let go of the otherʼs chin and raised both his hands in defeat. ”You won this round.”

Astrid had no time to celebrate this so-called ʼwinʼ because the other suddenly stood up and his ʼlittle brotherʼ dangled right in front of his face. He automatically shut his eyes closed and angrily shouted, ”Can you wear some clothes? If you have a habit of streaking in front of strangers, then donʼt do it on my account!”

Wulfric looked amusedly at the little guyʼs closed eyes. ”Why are you overreacting? Everything I have, you also have. Although, mine is probably bigger than yours. Oh, wait- was that it? Youʼre getting angry because mine is bigger? But you should be proud of what you have. Even if yours is smaller, at least it must be all cute and pink. Like a babyʼs.”

Astrid felt like his blood pressure just went up a couple of notches. He could even feel the veins on his forehead popping. Just how could someone be so infuriating?

He angrily stood up and opened his eyes. He glared coldly at probably the most irritating man he met since he was reincarnated in this era. Then, without speaking, he threw the knife he was holding at him.

As expected, Wulfric easily caught it. He was about to say something when he saw the pants he left on the side of the lake being hurled at him. He instinctively caught it.

”Put your pants on, you shitty exhibitionist,” Astrid said through gritted teeth.

Instead of being offended or angered, Wulfric burst out laughing. ”You really are an interesting one.”
