I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

The audience stared blankly at Tribios on the screen.

An unbearable bitterness welled up in their hearts.

Just like the question Phainon had asked. At this moment, the audience shared the exact same thought.

Why? What allowed her to keep going like this?

Mydei at least carried his mother’s blessing with him. But what Tribios faced... was her mother’s gentle lie.

There was no way she didn’t know that ”See you tomorrow” was a lie.

Yet Tribios still believed that as long as she fulfilled the prophecy, she would truly meet her mother again on the ”next tomorrow.”

If the end of her struggle was nothing more than a lie... Then wouldn’t all the effort, optimism, and hope born along the way become meaningless?

Even that deeply moving, yet strangely unsettling conversation.

Just as the audience’s thoughts were churning, the scene shifted.

It returned to within Okhema.

Castorice was talking with Tribbie.

”Lady Tribbie, do you still think...”

”That everything will be fine tomorrow?”

Castorice asked softly, her hands folded in front of her.

”Yeah, that’s what Trianne would say as well.”

Tribbie looked at the doll that Trianne had transformed into and replied quietly.

Castorice opened her mouth, but eventually voiced the doubt in her heart.

”Lady Tribbie, you know perfectly well... that see you tomorrow is nothing but a white lie.”

”I hope your toughness is not a mask hiding a lonely heart.”

Tribbie turned her head and revealed an adorable smile.

”Cas, that’s not a lie.”

”’See you tomorrow is the greatest prophecy in the world.”

That single sentence directly stunned Castorice. And countless viewers froze before their screens as well.

Tribbie continued speaking.

”Listen. In every corner of this land, every heartbeat carries a prayer for that prophecy to come true.”

”It may be that only a few heroes will bring tomorrow to the new world, but the prophecy of leading everyone to tomorrow belongs to all in Amphoreus.”

As Tribbie spoke, a bright light shone in her eyes.

”But not everyone has the chance to see tomorrow. How can such words be called a prophecy?” Castorice still couldn’t understand.

Facing her question, Tribbie gently closed her eyes. She placed a small hand over her chest and said sincerely:

”Because people believe it will come true, and they are trying hard to hold onto that belief.”

”Even as the world teeters on the brink of collapse, everyone is pressing forward, longing to reach farther and move toward tomorrow.”

”And that is why a Holy Maiden exists to lead the world toward tomorrow, and why Janusopolis’ prophecy unfolds as passages.”

””Fate” is not about the outcome, but the journey. It’s not the flowers that bloom at the end of the road...”

”But rather the paths that lead beyond the gate, where people tread toward the sea of flowers.”

Castorice fell silent. She didn’t know how to respond.

Not because she didn’t understand. But because Tribbie’s words carried an overwhelming emotion.

That optimism... almost burned her. And the audience felt it even more deeply.

In their hearts, they all believed the Saintess’ ”See you tomorrow” was a lie.

It was simply the gentlest and cruelest story a mother could weave for her beloved daughter before facing death.

It should have shattered once the truth was revealed. It should have become a wound.

But Tribios, and later the fragments that split from her: Trianne, Tribbie, and Trinnon, chose the most unbelievable path.

They accepted it. They embraced that lie. And with their entire lives... turned it into truth.

By this point, the audience no longer saw it as foolishness. Instead, everyone felt an overwhelming sense of romance and tragedy.

When the world falls into darkness...

When loved ones turn to dust...

When even the Titan’s prophecy is shrouded in mist...

What is left to rely on?

Tribbie’s answer was simple:

Love. That promise born from love.

Whether her mother was truly waiting tomorrow...

Whether she was truly walking towards tomorrow... None of those doubts mattered to Tribios.

Because the idea itself had already become the driving force behind her existence.

So why were the viewers so shaken? Why did they tremble and burst into tears?

The answer was simple.

What Tribbie defended was no longer just the power of a mother’s love.

At its core, it was humanity’s ability, when faced with despair, to choose hope and give meaning to existence.

Even knowing the ending may be nothingness... They still choose to move forward.

How lonely, yet so magnificent.

....

: I can’t take this anymore...

: ’See you tomorrow’ is the greatest prophecy in the world... this line is too powerful...

: I suddenly started crying uncontrollably.

: Tears are falling...

: I can’t handle this.

: So instead of saying goodbye... you say ’see you tomorrow,’ right?

: Director Xia didn’t lie to us. This really is the most positive, brightest version!!!

: I will forever support Honkai: Star Rail! I will forever support Amphoreus!

: MiHoYo, please keep going! Keep spreading this positive emotion to everyone! I’m crying so hard!

: Tribbie’s speech is incredible.

: This clearly carries deeper meaning. It’s like Tribbie is speaking directly to us.

: Life is exhausting, but if we believe tomorrow still holds possibilities, we can keep moving forward.

: It reminds me of how older people always say ’things will get better tomorrow.’ Now I realize the feeling Tribbie describes is exactly the same.

: Yes... I never understood it before. Now I finally do.

....

The chat exploded.

Countless emotional viewers were crying like rain. But it wasn’t from sadness. It was from being moved.

Moving forward even when the ending may be emptiness... Not knowing what tomorrow holds, yet still smiling and saying ”See you tomorrow.”

How different is that from ordinary people?

How many people feel their lives have no meaning... Yet still continue moving forward, whether passively or with effort?

And along the way, great people still carve out their own paths.

Once the viewers empathized with this feeling... The hopeful meaning hidden behind the seeming emptiness of ”See you tomorrow” became clear to more and more people.

Just as Tribbie said.

Fate is not the result. It is the process.

If the end is nothingness... If ”tomorrow” may never arrive...

Then doesn’t today’s struggle seem laughable?

But Tribbie gave them the answer.

”See you tomorrow” is the greatest prophecy precisely because it is not guaranteed.

People struggle today, survive, help one another, and create miracles, because they believe tomorrow exists.

That belief itself... has already become the most real part of tomorrow.

And that is why Tribbie burns herself without hesitation.

All so that everyone can believe... That tomorrow, everyone will meet again.

It has nothing to do with whether the end is emptiness.

It concerns only love!

If it were in real life... That would be like you going to work, working, studying, yet the future you’re striving for might never arrive.

But you would still use certain words to tell yourself that tomorrow will be better.

Perhaps while riding the subway to work, you tell yourself to hold on a little longer, tomorrow will be better.

When studying late into the night, you also can’t be sure that you’ll truly reach your goal. Will the college entrance exam really go smoothly?

But thinking that you should just try a little harder, what if it works?

So you grit your teeth and keep studying.

While taking care of a sick family member or dealing with the pressures of life, you will likewise think in your heart that everything will pass, that tomorrow is a new day.

”See you tomorrow.”

These three words... are the lighthouse that ordinary people can light for themselves in a life that is ordinary, and not always able to see its meaning.

It does not promise results, but it promises the journey.

Everyone turns their own chessboard of a better tomorrow into little ”excuses” that support them in continuing to live.

So that ordinary people, amid repetition and exhaustion, can still push open the door and face the world.

This is the most personal, most ordinary kind of heroism.

All kinds of emotions... layer together like this.

The emotion brought by the characters themselves, and the emotion that extends from that to oneself.

They intertwined, making the audience burst into tears.

...

: Too romantic.

: Is this MiHoYo writing a hymn for all ordinary people?

: Wuwuwu, after everything in the second episode, I didn’t expect it to end like this. So touching!

: So nice. After watching it, even my corpse feels warm.

: My scalp is tingling...

: Such incredible writing.

: Not everyone can reach the place they want to go, but we share this world together.

: People try to believe that tomorrow will come, and that’s why they have the courage to keep living.

: Even if ”see you tomorrow” is a lie, it doesn’t matter.

: The world isn’t perfect, but it’s still worth living in! Live well!

: If life has no meaning, then we will give it meaning!

: The people’s historical view!

: A true existentialist warrior, MiHoYo!

: Promise me, MiHoYo, just keep writing like this!

: Although it’s very touching, I really want to say, can my 8 a.m. class also be handed over to tomorrow?

: ?

...

The ending of the story... was like existentialism throwing a heavy punch at nihilism.

While the audience was moved, they were also filled with motivation.

It felt as if the ”IX” inside their bodies had been punched right out.

...

: I’ve decided, I’m going to study after watching this episode!

: I’m going to enjoy life!

: That’s right, do something positive.

: A very good story.

: As expected, even though there were knives and tearful moments, the director really didn’t lie to us. These stories are so positive!

: Ever since Mikhail and the others paid tribute to the imperfect tomorrow on Penacony, the hints were already there. And now it’s finally fully explained in Amphoreus. MiHoYo, you!

As countless comments crazily swept across the screen, the scene finally arrived at its last moment.

Under the beautiful sunlight, Tribbie clasped her hands together and knelt devoutly before Trianne’s doll.

With her sweet and adorable voice, she said:

”We will now continue the journey and face our destiny.”

”We will step over the gods’ corpses and wander among humanity.”

”And thus, we shall sweep apart Amphoreus’ pitch-dark fog.”

”And at the end, all will reach that silver-white shoal, that end of the journey, that new world and new tomorrow.”

”It is a haven free from storms, cold, and heavy rains. No sorrow can linger there.”

As she spoke, Tribbie raised her head.

Following the golden sunlight, she seemed to see her former self, before she had split apart, holding Trianne’s hand, smiling and waving to her from the distance.

Tribbie smiled as well.

”We’ve made a promise to meet again at the end of the west wind, where flowers bloom in spring.”

”See you tomorrow, Trianne.”

The scene faded.

On the barrage above, the words ”See you tomorrow” densely filled the screen.

Along with those comments, the screen flickered once more.

...

A few days later.

Back with Stelle and Dan Heng.

After returning to Dan Heng’s side, Stelle told him about everything she had seen and heard during this journey.

”Let me ask you, are you really sure you want to take on the trial of Oronyx’s Coreflame on behalf of the Chrysos Heirs?”

Dan Heng stared at Stelle seriously and said word by word:

”Since there’s a problem with the prophecy, and Oronyx has always opposed it, then it would be best if the two of us didn’t get too deeply involved with them.”

”I’m not so sure.” Stelle scratched her head and said,

”I’m already tangled up in this. I feel like my connection with Oronyx might be deeper than we imagined.”

”...We’ve ended up at this point after all. This is probably a fate that ”Trailblaze” can’t evade.”

”You should be extra cautious and watch out for yourself. Based on the experiences of those before you, the trial is no walk in the park.”

Dan Heng shook his head and reminded her.

What he feared the most wasn’t the danger itself. Rather, if Stelle tied herself too tightly to Amphoreus and then took on that Titan’s divine authority, would she still have the chance to put it down afterward?

Otherwise, she might end up like Mikhail of Amphoreus... or like someone else who carried a similar burden.

It wasn’t that becoming people like them was a bad thing. Those two were great.

The problem was that thing within Stelle was simply too many.

Mikhail and the others eliminated difficulties for Penacony.

But Stelle... might instead bring suffering to Amphoreus.

For example, the Stellaron.

”Forget it, Dan Heng. Let’s not think about that.”

”How about we take some nice photos and show them to March 7th later?”

Stelle had a big heart, and immediately tossed those worries to the back of her mind.

”Sure.”

As Dan Heng spoke, he took March 7th’s camera from Stelle and pressed the shutter toward the beautiful scenery of Amphoreus in the distance.

Click.

But Dan Heng didn’t put the camera away. Instead, he frowned slightly.

”Something wrong, Dan Heng?” Stelle asked from the side.

”The memory card is full.” Dan Heng replied.

Neither of them thought there was anything strange about that.

A camera’s memory getting filled up, wasn’t that perfectly normal?

But right at that moment, the screen flickered once again.

It returned back and froze on the inside of the Express.

March 7th lay in her bed. The six-phase ice that originally only occupied half the mattress spread everywhere, completely sealing her within it!

The audience, who had not yet recovered from the previous wave of emotion, immediately encountered another explosive twist!
