Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Gigi:

There was the shock I had been expecting.

”What?” she gasped, her chest rising and falling more rapidly.

Her reaction almost made me feel better. At least it proved I wasn’t losing my mind.

”Yes. That freaking omega is apparently so special, Mother,” I muttered bitterly. ”She isn’t mated to just one Alpha King brother. She’s mated to both of them.”

My breath caught.

”You should have seen the look on her face, Mother.”

”How is that even possible?” my mother whispered.

”Exactly! That’s what I’m trying to tell you. It’s unfair.”

Anger surged through me as more thoughts crowded my head.

”After everything her brother did to me, she gets something this special? She gets two Alpha Kings? The same girl whose brother treated me so horribly, the same girl because of whom my brother is lying in a coma, gets rewarded with not one Alpha King, but two?”

I pressed my hands against my chest.

”Mother, you don’t understand. It feels like she’s put some kind of curse on me. She must have. Nothing else makes sense.”

Another sob tore through me.

”And today, Theodore said horrible things to me. He insulted me so badly. Even Jaguar went as far as saying that maybe what Justin did to me was justified because my brother used to bully their sister.”

The words poured out of me faster and faster.

”They all started telling me to stop behaving like a victim!”

By the end, I was practically yelling everything at my mother in a single breath.

”And they weren’t even ashamed to say all of that to you? After everything you went through, when none of it was your fault? You were tortured for eighteen days, Gigi. How could they possibly forget that?”

My mother was finally seeing my side of things. The concern on her face was real now, and for all the right reasons.

”Mother...” My lips quivered.

”When you went to the seer, didn’t you say it was because you wanted those brothers to remember what they had done and finally respect you? Then how are they treating you even worse now?” she questioned.

She was probably remembering what I had told her when I first said I wanted to visit the seer.

At the time, I had claimed that I only wanted the brothers to respect me.

But hearing my mother mention the seer reminded me of something important.

I still had hope.

The Moon Goddess might have betrayed me, but that didn’t mean I had to sit quietly and watch Verity take everything from me.

”Mom?” I sniffled. ”I feel like...”

I hesitated as another thought began taking shape in my mind.

”I don’t think Verity came here for no reason.”

My mother’s expression shifted the moment I said it.

”I don’t think she sees me as the victim, especially if it means going against her own brother. I’m starting to think she came here to take revenge for him.”

My voice broke, and I started crying again.

”I don’t know,” my mother murmured. ”Why would she do that when you’re the victim?”

I drew in a deep breath and nodded slowly.

”Because that doesn’t mean she sees it that way.”

I leaned my head back against the couch.

”Then we’ll tell your father,” my mother decided. ”He already doesn’t like that girl very much. It shouldn’t be difficult to convince him to look into Verity and find some proof that she came here with another intention.”

She rose from the couch and grabbed a pillow, placing it beside me.

”But there is one problem, Gigi. Her position has become much stronger now because of the brothers. We’ll have to be careful about what we do.”

She leaned down, kissed my temple, and walked out.

She was right.

I had to do something.

All I needed was to get Jaguar alone with me, and after that, get both brothers alone with me together.

That was what the seer had told me.

The ritual required sacrifices, and for those sacrifices, I had to choose a target.

Once the ritual was complete, that person would have to become intimate with me while we were alone.

And if there were two targets, both of them would eventually have to be with me together.

Theodore had already been intimate with me once.

And Jagaur...

The realization struck me so suddenly that I lifted my head, a smile slowly spreading across my lips.

”Well, that means the only thing left is to get both brothers together.”

The moment the thought crossed my mind, my wolf began cackling inside me.

I was glad she had finally awakened.

She rarely spoke, but whenever she did, it usually meant chaos was coming.

I got up from the couch and slowly made my way to my room.

Behind the bookshelves, I opened a small, private compartment hidden inside the wall.

After entering the code into the lock, I pulled out an old phone.

Then I returned to the couch and began scrolling through it.

That phone was important.

And there was one video on it that was going to change everything.

Smiling to myself, I opened the video and watched it.

It wasn’t the first time.

I watched it from time to time whenever I wanted to please myself.

But this time, it wasn’t for pleasure.

This time, it was meant to cause pain.

Then I put the phone back exactly where it belonged.

I was going to need it very soon.

After that, I called one of my most trusted warriors into the living room.

”I want you to go back to the place where we used to live and find out everything you can about Verity Swan. Where she went a few years ago, how she survived, how she earned her degrees, and every other detail you can uncover.”

I took a deep breath.

”I want everything. And make sure it’s documented. I don’t want rumors or hearsay.”

Then I raised a finger.

”Also, find out where her brother is buried.”

With that, I gestured for the warrior to leave.

There was a lot to uncover now.

Until this point, they had only seen Gigi who tried to please everyone.

They had never seen Gigi who got angry.

The Gigi who could fuck up everyone’s life.
