Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Verity:

Ragnar didn’t say anything to me.

He simply lit his cigar, which told me he wasn’t going to answer and that I needed to leave.

So I did.

I walked out and went back to my room.

When I arrived, I was shocked to find Jaguar already sitting there.

Not just sitting there.

Rose petals were scattered all over the room.

I was completely taken aback.

Off to one side, he had decorated a small table with two chairs and fairy lights. The rest of the room was dark.

I locked the door because I didn’t want anyone to see us together, then turned and noticed food arranged on the table.

”Candlelight dinner for the most beautiful woman,” Jaguar said with a smile, holding out a bouquet for me.

”Wow. What’s the occasion?” I asked as I accepted the flowers.

His hand slid up my forearm, and he gave my elbow an affectionate squeeze.

”Nothing,” he replied.

But there was something strange in his tone, as though he wasn’t ready to tell me everything yet.

”And that’s not all. I have another present for you,” he added, guiding me toward the chair and helping me sit down like a gentleman.

He took the seat across from me and lit the candle with the lighter in his hand.

”What is it?” I asked curiously.

”I’m going to do everything I can to get your brother’s videos removed from the internet.”

The moment he said it, I went completely still.

”I don’t think Alpha King Ragnar will agree to it,” I said, giving him a small smile to show that I at least appreciated him saying that much.

”It doesn’t matter. I’ll still try my best. It’s been a long time. Your brother is gone, and there’s no reason for those videos to still be up there. If anything, they seem more like a punishment for you than for anyone else.”

Jaguar was still talking, but I had lowered my gaze and was smiling to myself.

It wasn’t a happy smile.

It was the kind that came from sadness.

When he finally stopped, I looked up at him. So he knew that everything that had happened had punished me too.

Since he had already admitted that much, I had to ask why he’d suddenly realized it.

”I mean, that’s kind of shocking. And completely out of nowhere,” I said, taking a deep breath as I fixed a plate for myself, then one for him.

”No, it’s just that after what happened with Gigi, I realized how much you must have suffered.”

There it was.

He had only realized it because Gigi had gone through something similar.

Before that, none of them had ever thought about it.

The funny thing was, when Gigi’s parents had been shouting that she should have been given a heads-up, that they should have been warned, not one person had pointed out that Justin’s family deserved a warning too.

And I was Justin’s only family.

There was no one else.

But back then, nobody had thought about me.

”Right,” I replied with a smile.

”No, no, no. Don’t take it the wrong way. That’s not what I meant. It’s just that, you know, sometimes you have to go through something yourself before you realize you did something wrong. Just forget I said anything. I have something else to tell you.”

Jaguar quickly began explaining himself after noticing the sarcastic smile on my face.

”I was thinking about planning a trip for you. Just you and me. It’ll be a business trip.”

He paused, as though he needed to explain himself before going any further.

”There’s an important meeting we have to attend. It’s a one-night stay at a distant pack. When we go, I’ll take you with me. Ragnar and the others will probably still be looking for Gigi, so it’ll just be the two of us.”

He looked at me with obvious interest in his eyes.

”That would be sweet,” I replied, smiling through the pain.

It all felt so strange.

Sometimes I wondered whether I would even be here if these brothers hadn’t done what they did to my brother.

And if I were, what would my relationship with them have been?

Both brothers were clearly interested in me, so what would I have done with that?

I also wondered whether I would have been able to draw them toward me so easily back then.

Because one thing I knew for certain was that deception and seduction weren’t things I would normally use.

And yet, those were exactly the things that had trapped them.

After dinner, Jaguar and I sat on the bed.

He leaned in and tenderly pressed his lips to mine, kissing me very softly. Our bodies naturally lowered onto the bed together.

He moved on top of me and slid his tongue into my mouth. I didn’t object.

As I sucked on his lips, my fingers worked at the buckle of his pants.

He seemed fully aware of what I wanted, one hand moving down to pull off my panties.

His cock was already hard as it began to graze against my pussy.

This time, when his cock entered me, I moaned against his lips, my hands sliding around his back and scratching him through his shirt.

He kept kissing me softly, little by little, while giving me slow, gentle thrusts.

”I love you, Verity.”

Jaguar’s confession of love felt completely different from Theodore’s.

His was full of passion as he continued thrusting inside me.

I ran one hand over his back and up into his hair.

With every thrust, my pussy wanted more, clenching tightly around his shaft.

”Say it.”

Breathless, he broke the kiss, his cock still inside me.

”What?” I asked, breathing heavily.

”Say it. Say you love me,” he demanded.

Then he slowly pulled his cock almost all the way out before thrusting back into me hard enough to make my body jolt.

I bit my bottom lip as my nails dug into his arms and shoulders.

”Say it,” he demanded again, giving me another hard thrust.

I let out a yelp, my back arching before I finally gave in.

”I do.”

That was all I said.

Then he kissed me again and began increasing his pace.
