Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Verity:

Ever since the man had said that to me, I had been staring at him in silence.

”Thank you so much for your generous offer, but I’ll have to decline.”

I shook my head.

”It’s just that I have a lot of respect for myself and my body,” I replied.

Regret immediately hit me when I noticed the way his gaze dropped to my body at the mention of it.

”Such a shame,” he murmured. ”Because you have quite a body.”

Every time he spoke to me in such an intimate manner, I felt like jamming my fingers into my ears until I could no longer hear him.

”I mean, look at your ample breasts. They’re so full and round.”

The old man apparently decided he hadn’t been creepy enough, so he began describing my body to me.

My grip tightened around the glass in my hand.

”And look at your waist. Such a tiny waist. Then those wide hips.”

His eyes roamed over me.

”You know, when you walk, your ass sways. It jiggles. You must work out.”

As his words continued to crawl under my skin, I finally turned and glared at him.

”Do you have no shame?”

This time, I was deliberately rude.

The look of utter dismay on his face was almost satisfying.

It was as if he couldn’t believe anyone would dare speak to him that way.

”Careful, young lady. Just because you’ve got a pussy doesn’t mean you get to disrespect me.”

He smirked.

”I love pussy, but I also like my women obedient.”

The man clearly didn’t know when to stop.

Even his warning made my skin crawl.

”Yeah, I can tell that’s all you crave,” I shot back. ”Why don’t you get one yourself? I mean, you certainly have the wealth for it.”

My comment made him swallow hard.

For a moment, he looked as though he wanted to kill me.

”Besides, I feel sorry for the women who live with you. The way you treat them.”

I guess I was only getting started.

Once I started speaking, I didn’t know when to stop.

That was because I had spent most of my childhood staying quiet.

But my brother had always taught me to stand up for myself.

He used to tell me, ’Fight the people who bother you. Then come hide behind me. Either I’ll fight them, or I’ll get beaten up trying.’

I used to laugh every time he said that.

His support had always been so genuine.

And then they broke him.

Just thinking about it made something twist painfully inside my chest.

I couldn’t say anything to the Alpha King brothers.

But I could certainly teach this old man a lesson.

”You have daughters too, don’t you?” I challenged. ”Where are they?”

I tilted my head.

”I heard you marry them off the moment they turn eighteen. Do you know why?”

My tone was harsh.

My body language was openly disrespectful, and I knew he noticed.

Because he was no longer staring at my breasts or my hips.

His eyes were fixed on my face instead.

On the way I scrunched my nose and then I moved my fingers.

On the way I snapped them.

”You do that because you don’t want your daughters finding out what kind of animal their father really is. Or perhaps you’re afraid that if the men proposing to them find out what kind of man you are, they’ll walk away.”

As soon as I finished speaking, I noticed the man flinch.

I had honestly expected him to hit me, and I was prepared to stop his hand if he tried.

But he never did.

The flinch was enough.

I knew I had struck a nerve.

”Now, excuse me,” I hissed, brushing past him.

I headed to the third floor and stepped onto the rooftop to get some fresh air.

My lungs felt tight.

Too much energy was coursing through me.

Anger rushed through my veins, and I needed an outlet for it.

Since Ragnar was watching me, and I had to maintain the image of a naïve, innocent little kitten who couldn’t even stand up for herself, I decided to leave and take a breather instead.

I let out a deep breath as I stood on the rooftop, staring at the houses in the distance.

There was a clear division between them.

One section was brightly lit, and I assumed it belonged to the royal beta and royal gamma.

Beyond that were the homes of the regular betas and gammas.

The beta houses had lanterns hanging outside.

Then there was the omega community.

It was completely silent.

There was no movement.

No light.

Nothing.

Only darkness.

I felt a flash of pity for them.

I couldn’t help wondering how Ragnar and his brothers had decided to place a pack on this land, surrounded by other packs, while allowing a man like Williams to remain its Alpha.

I felt as though I was completely out of harm’s way while alone up here.

For the first time all evening, I could breathe peacefully.

Unfortunately, the Alpha of this pack was a horny bastard who couldn’t look at a woman without losing control.

And that was exactly what happened.

”You know I could fuck you right here and throw your body over the edge, don’t you?”

The voice came from behind me, and I jolted.

I didn’t even have time to turn around.

A hand clamped down on the back of my neck and forced me forward against the low wall.

I immediately started scratching at him with my nails, trying to get free.

Then he pinched my ass.

”Look at that soft jiggle, I would love to part these round asscheeks and penetrate your asshole.”

My attention snapped to the violation.

”I’m going to fuck you so hard you’ll scream to everyone that you are my slut now.”

As soon as he finished speaking, my face twisted in disgust.

He had no idea who he was messing with.
