Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3832: End His Beginning! I

Far from the Transcendent Paradoxical Folds.

The Nullvein Gravewake Folds rippled.

They bent with the soft solemnity of a presence arriving where none had expected it. A Presence that should not have been here.

A sliver of pearlescent brilliance unfolded, parting the heavy darkness of a certain region of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds. A new light stepped through, and these folds...knew the touch of a Living Origin!

A male Origin Descendant hovered silently. His figure bore no unnecessary grandeur, only a calm assurance that belonged to those born of Origin itself. His eyes gleamed with intent as his presence anchored within the bleak firmament, the very folds trembling.

He was floating just outside the Veiled Sunfolds!

Beside him, the face of the female Origin Descendant shone from a small singularity of light as she was only here with an observing authority.

Her voice echoed softly, yet clearly. ”Truly,” she said, eyes widening with awe, ”these are Folds forsaken by the Living Paradoxes. Are there so few of them now that they must resort to this?”

...!

The male did not answer her at once. His thoughts were stretched across the fabric of the fold. He extended his aura, slow and deliberate, threading it into the undercurrents of the Veiled Sunfolds and then beyond, a soft radiance spreading like ripples in quiet water.

It was the first time the signature of a Living Origin etched itself into the cold collapse and dark weavings of these Folds!

And his authority spread far and wide.

Soon, a whisper of something met his light.

His eyes flickered.

”Oh?”

The female Origin Descendant in the singularity leaned forward, her light body floating toward him as her tone turned eager. ”What did you find, Altheon?”

Altheon, the male Origin Descendant, finally spoke. His voice was steady and deep, a melodic blend of thought and power. ”A piece of a Law Wheel of Existence...this is unique.”

In front of them, the folds shifted as Altheon made a move.

Light and memory intertwined to form an image- an illusion framed by Authority.

A being stood at the center, calm and tall, his figure wrapped in silvery white light. It was an image showing someone who stemmed from a now dead Wheel of Existence...The Peacemaker!

Alexander Asmodeus!

The sight of him drew silence from both of the Origin Descendants as they observed the Enneagram on his chest.

The light from it was one they recognized!

The alliance between Living Laws and Origins was old, rooted in shared belief and shared purpose.

Since they saw something of their nature in these folds...

Altheon nodded. ”It is a Nine-Pointed Law Wheel. Intact and active. I will direct it to the Living Laws and save it from these forsaken Folds should the Living Paradoxes return.”

WAA!

He raised a single hand. His fingers curved slowly, carefully. Then they plucked downward.

The Peacemaker, still visible in the illusion, turned his head in alarm. Before he could act or speak, a hand of radiant white gold appeared- a hand larger than even an Omniverse as it was shaped from Origin Authority. It closed around him before he could do anything as he wss plucked away!

”Mmm...” Altheon nodded while continuing to manipulate his authority.

The illusion shattered.

Altheon’s aura expanded again as it continued to spread out across the Folds.

—

Far away, near the echo of a broken Crucible, another musing was stirring.

A single black tendril of light shimmered into being.

It slithered out of a dark pocket of Folds, carrying with it a whisper of finality and a smile lined with madness. The tendril twisted until it sprouted a face.

Thauron.

His expression was a mask of amusement. Eyes darted across the folds, and his breath came out in a slow hum. He coukd sense something from this small part of himself left behind here. An unfamiliar weight in the air. One not born of Paradox!

He frowned as he sensed such a thing.

”Hmm,” Thauron muttered, his voice weaving through the shadows. ”You feel that, don’t you, Little Bobby? Someone new. Someone not of paradox, but very much alive...”

”I was thinking of what chaos could unfold if I could track down other Living Existences...and now one just appears?”

The tendril lengthened. More tendrils bloomed. Each one carried whispers, echoes, fragments of weavings that were now filled with skepticism anf suspicion!

”Why would the aura of another Living Existence be so bright here? A Fold normally under the gaze of a Paradox, and yet...something slips through?”

His body began to take form.

From the tendrils, bones sprouted and fused. A darkly radiant torso twisted into view, then legs, arms, a head. A full body molded by Finality stood tall in the shadows, its posture easy, the power beneath it coiled.

He did not believe in coincidences.

He needed something, and now it was here?

It was like a silent hand was steering things as this gave him pause!

Thauron breathed in deeply.

”Well, regardless of the why...I was looking for other Living Existences, and now here they are! So be it...”

He got himself ready.

He affirmed with the Inevitability he had bound to himself!

And...

Then, like a child speaking sacred blasphemy with glee, he opened his mouth.

”Living Paradoxes. Living Elementals. Living Laws. Living Origins. Living Emotives. Living...”

He said them slowly. Each name was a note in a song of desecration. Not for its profanity, but for its precision.

In the Folds, saying the wrong thing always drew attention from those overseeing them.

A Mawbearer had stood infront of Melodrass in a certain Wheel of Existence and said words she shouldn’t have said...and a force appeared and cut her in half with a warning.

So when Thauron began saying similar words with wild abandon...

The folds themselves reacted as what he was saying spread out to entangle and draw in!

Like a fisherman setting bait.

Thauron’s smile grew wider.

”Keys. THE Key. The Loom. The Absolute Living Loom...!”

Words that should never be spoken. Words that lived and did not live. Each syllable was a strike of a chisel upon the very rules of Existence!

And just as he expected.

HUUM!

The folds trembled.

Light. White gold and blinding...it descended like judgment.

It took form as it landed.

A body of clarity and purpose. Eyes like suns. Altheon, an Origin Descendant, stood tall in the white blaze, his gaze narrowed as he looked upon Thauron!

Silence stretched between them.

The folds groaned and buzzed at the power here!

And Origin Authority met the aura of Finality head on, finality losing rapidly as a terrifying Living Origin appeared before him!
