Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3553  A Heart! A Spoke! I

For any job, there was a proper tool to utilize to complete it.

A nail needed a hammer.

Writing needed pen and paper.

The job could be completed in other ways, but the right tool…always made the job extremely easy.

Old Man Eudemus…melted into the terrifyingly sleek golden Spoke that pierced through a multicolored Heart as he felt like he had come across the tool that could rightly answer the three body problem, but it was so heavy!

So big!

And he had no way to even lift it.

So close, and yet so far.

”The weavings of the Wheel are cruel, Noah Osmont.”

Old Man Eudemus was half melted into the golden Spoke as his words croaked out towards the one person right before him.

A person he did not understand even to this day as too many mysteries surrounded him.

And Noah…looked at Old Man Eudemus in turn as he observed his weavings with caution, an illusory eye opening above him and staring at everything as he prepared to make a move!

When he breathed in, the air felt rich in terrifying flames of purity and complexity that almost rivaled his.

Almost.

The Spoke itself seemed heavy and capable of not decimating- but purifying and eating the weavings of any who got close enough.

Half of Old Man Eudemus was already part of this golden Spoke.

And then, there was the Heart it pierced through.

The very Heart of these Megalos!

It looked like a skewered organ, and yet it remained alive and well as an unknown reaction occurred to cause it to enter a state of resonance and symbiosis with the Spoke that crossed through it.

The burning smell of existence took Noah back as he saw Old Man Eudemus nearly melted in, his eyes flashing with a trace of pity as from their entanglement, he saw that weavings of this Old Man were already collapsed irreversibly.

”Hold on as best you can.”

He spoke towards the man who had been seeking answers all his life- white gold flames erupting to cover what remained of his body when his flames came in contact with the Spoke; there was a roaring flare up as the seething flames in the surroundings became even wilder!

Noah floated down towards the very bottom of the Spoke as he passed through the pierced heart, noticing how the weavings of this space that seemed enclosed within the folds of the Megalos held similar musings to that place he arrived at when he attained True Severing.

That was how it remained masked and hidden this whole time as it seemed like a junction of space between the Megalos and that heavy domain of darkness where it was hard to even move around in!

He arrived at the base of the Spoke, right before the Heart, as his figure began to rapidly enlarge in size.

At this moment, he was akin to the size of a grain of sand in comparison to the massive Spoke, and his figure ballooned up to slowly exceed the size of a World.

Just until he seemed to have the same relation of size with the Spoke, his eyes filled with determination as his hand became aflame with white gold brilliance, intending to grasp the base of this Spoke that was raging out incandescent flames!

As he did this, the figure of Mysara appeared beside him while surrounded by vibrant blue gold flames, shouting amidst the swirling storms of complexity around them.

”Sir, I have never seen one this big! Is this why you were in these Megalos? Its complexity seems free and untamed as it might even hurt the current you with that level of Complexity! Shall I help?”

Her words barely echoed out amidst the roaring flames, but Noah only shook his head towards her as his hand, blazing with flames, landed and grasped the very base of the Spoke just below the pierced Heart!

BZZT!

All nearby weavings trembled.

White gold flames rose all around like massive curtains of brilliance, the figure of Tam in the distance scrambling away as any common Pioneers or Existence Severing entities would have gotten decimated here!

Tam, with his white gold flames of the Singed, seemed to be ignored for the most part.

While Old Man Eudemus…was already nearly gone.

Mysara watched the Origin Singed grasp the massive Spoke before them as her heart could not help but palpate with waves of shock and surprise. Why would such a massive part of the Wheel be here? She and many Singed knew of the Piece of a Phantom Trace or even Core Tracings of the Wheel that were stretched out across frequencies, but she had never seen something like this!

And to seek to control such a thing, even her weavings did not seem to be enough.

And yet…

The unique, albeit slightly weak, weavings of this version of the Origin Singed grabbed the spoke without so much as any hesitation, and columns of flames rose heavily as in the surroundings; the temperature alone even made Mysara feel stifled.

And she…was a powerful Greater Source Complexity!

She looked at the enlarged figure of the Origin Singed as she wondered.

How did it feel to be him at this moment?

HUUM!

Nearby weavings trembled.

Noahʼs hand that sought to grasp the Spoke felt like it was being scalded by an object that could not be grasped, and yet his True Severed Singed Flame of Existence denied such a thought as it spread to madly wrap around the whole Spoke!

It was pure.

It was truly severed. And it was already heading towards a Pathway to a True Source as how dare it be denied by an object that held the flames of the Wheel?!

”How dare you?!”

HUUM!

His voice boomed out like waves of thunder, his hand pulsing with purity and coming to grasp the Spoke completely as the very weavings nearby shuddered.

A booming cry echoed out after that before in the next moment, chains of flames erupted from the base of the Spoke and began coiling around Noahʼs hand like a serpent!
