Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3241  Origins V

Across the Megalos Beyond, there was only an endless obsidian radiance with stretches of Domains scattered across it.

In the Megalos Beyond, there was no rain.

Rain was a concept known and understood, with some entities even utilizing attacks in the form of rain or something similar.

But what was occurring at this very moment above the Grave of the Great Beyonder was a natural rain that seemed to be coming from the surrounding Megalos Beyond itself!

The rain bounced on the crimson barrier covering the Grave of the Great Beyonder and seemed to stretch outwards, with the bodies of the dozens of Outerversal Morphons outside this domain soon coming to feel the droplets.

PA! PA! PA!

The tentacles of the Great Mother rose as she felt the rain and trembled.

It was extremely pure condensed drops of the very makeup of the Megalos Beyond itself.

When they fell on her tentacles, they broke and scattered into dazzling obsidian waves that visibly made their surroundings brighter.

A shine of obsidian radiance became even more potent as it seemed that with the Grave of the Great Beyonder as the center, the concentration of atmospheric authority and the very weavings of the Megalos Beyond in this area were enriched!

Why was this? What could possibly cause this?!

Rain shall cover the Megalos Beyond as it will cheer at the arrival of the instrument…

The Great Mother weaved her intent outwards as her mind was all but made up.

Her intent traversed outwards towards the Herical Morphons who faced them as at the forefront, there was a massive Outerversal Morphon whose entire body was shrouded by a cyclical robe that covered and hid everything in darkness, with a single limb releasing from this cylindrical darkness that formed a purple hand which had an eye and a mouth with thousands of jagged teeth on its palm!

This mouth in the center of the palm opened and released guttural sounds in response to the intent of the Great Mother.

”Rain shall cover the Megalos Beyond as it will weep at the arrival of the instrument…”

…!

The sentence it said was almost exactly the same as what the Great Mother had said.

But a single word was changed.

He uttered weep, and she uttered cheer.

And yet…neither were wrong as both of these sentences were said back to back by the Great Beyonder all those cycles ago!

The mouth on the palm spoke out again as the titanic body of darkness it was connected to began to vibrate.

”It is weeping, O Great Mother. Weeping in dismay at even the possibility of destruction to come. Why risk it? This second Sign only confirms things as we must get through, Great Mother. Whether we have your permission or not.”

WAA!

Around and behind this terrifying Outerversal Morphon that bore the distinction of Great, others also moved.

The Great Mother looked at them in distaste as she got out of her reverie and bellowed out while beginning to make preparations.

Hmph, the Megalos Beyond is cheering and expectant for whatʼs to come! Can you not sense how much more vibrant everything is? Can you not imagine the wonders to come? Because if you seek to stop it…it will have to be over my corpse, O Great Enslaver.

…!

Her words only caused the tension in the surroundings to burn ever brighter.

Her tentacles began to spin and cycle around her as she began to give off waves of ancient power that few would understand the true terror of.

After her words were said, there was no going back.

A deep sigh escaped from the Observer of Old and Young as he began to transform out of the form of an old man and into a terrific Outerversal Morphon.

Others did the same around him as dozens of Morphons of different forms with coiling tentacles lined up behind the Great Mother in solidarity!

The Great Enslaver looked at this scene and spoke deeply.

”No Great Outerversal Morphon has fallen over the last cycles. If you protect the Instrument …you will start fulfilling another Sign yourself.”

…!

Another sign the Great Beyonder stated.

Great Ones will fall like the drops of Rain….so what? Who knows which among us will live in the future to come? The ones following the Will of the Great Beyonder, or Heretics?

She spoke daringly and without fear.

And in response, millions of tendrils began to buzz opposite her as another deep voice not belonging to the Great Enslaver echoed out.

We also follow the Will of the Great Beyonder, O Great Mother, but we seem to see it differently.

A voice that made the confident tentacles around the Great Mother to pause slightly as they developed some solemnity.

She didnʼt think even he would come this fast.

But what had to be done, had to be done.

With her mind made up, she initiated the safeguards she had put into place since many cycles ago around the Grave of the Great Beyonder as thereafter, her power exploded out!

As it did, she couldnʼt help but feel a tremendous sense of achievement and euphoria.

She wondered.

Would she be able to initiate the third Sign today? Would a Great One fall here?

As unlikely as it was due to their sheer power, she was expectant.

She had thought Great Ones falling would come much later, but who knew how the intricacies of the Great Beyonder worked? All she did know…was that she had come across the Instrument brought forth by the Observer of Old and Young as by now, seeing the Sign of the Rain, Aspasia must have confirmed everything!

ʼI will see you all again soon enough…ʼ

She had a single thought that revealed a glimpse of what she planned to do.

With their surroundings now filled with drops of rain that scattered to cause the Megalos Beyond to shine with ever increasing obsidian radiance, a massive pop that ushered in the start of a bloody war ensued.

…!

POP!

A booming sound that stretched deeply into the protected Grave of the Great Beyonder behind them.

A sound that was felt by two connected beings, one of them being the entity responsible for ushering this change and releasing unseen and unknown waves of interactions even he didnʼt fully grasp as he established a stable channel of Matter and Dark Matter!
