Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 2596 The Shadow Sword! IV

2596 The Shadow Sword! IV

The words buzzed in Chamber Master Gayacus even now as the authoritative voice stemming from the brilliant singularity before him actually approved the proposal brought forth by the past Hyperversal Extremity of Destruction!

It was because choosing to go forth with the proposal would make many things problematic- especially the standing of the Avernus Clan in the Senatus of Extremity which was made up of the most powerful existences within the Seven Havens.

Their standing in the Senatus of Extremity would not allow them to blatantly conduct an act of aggression against an Inheritance of Extremity. It would subjugate them to scrutiny and allow their enemies within the Senatus of Extremity to move against them!

Because this proposal had nothing to do with the Guardians of Extremity that a majority of the hegemonies with the Senatus of Extremity were now cautious of with their rise in power over the years.

It dealt with an Inheritance and the very laws of the Investiture of Extremity crafted by the Senatus of Extremity!

So, if a force ever did anything against an Inheritance or Clan, it would be behind the scenes where their name could not be traced to any actions concretely.

The Cult of Endless Shadows openly accepted and didnʼt deny the close ties with Osmont as they werenʼt afraid of the Avernus Clan openly dealing with them, and the light of infamy would put their Inheritance in the spotlight as they rose to prominence with an Armament of Extremity backing them.

At least, this is what the Cult of Endless Shadows believed.

[Sire, are you sure?]

It was a hesitant question emanating out from Gayacus as the voice of authority from the other side was as stable and powerful as before.

[Yes. There is a great deal of chaos coming…to the extent that even the hands of the Senatus of Extremity are about to be tied. Minor incursions like the incursion in the Haven of Dissolution and what is about to happen in the Haven of Penumbra will be insignificant incidents in the face of what is to come.]

…!

The voice thundered down.

Chamber Master Gayacus listened and bowed without another delay as he moved to carry out the will of a being that he had been serving even before he became a Hyperversal Extremity!

A being whose wisdom and talent knew no bounds as he took a small and insignificant inheritance years ago and raised to the stature of a Clan.

A devilish smile bloomed on Gayacus as he moved to accomplish this beingʼs will.

The incursion this time was a unique one.

Their target was an Armament of Extremity as a secondary target was the existence that the Fifth Golden Chamber of Avernus was targeting personally.

Their incursion would lead them to the doorsteps of the Cult of Endless Shadows in the Haven of Penumbra!

—

Atop the churning sea collecting to form a radiant black rift portal that led into the Shadow Sea Plane.

The figure of the Flashing Shadow stared with languid eyes at Noahʼs figure as his authority seemed to meld with the surrounding sea, his obsidian straw haw glimmering with the light of an Extremity Relic as before he could say any antagonizing words, the portal behind him trembled!

BZZT!

It was a pulsing stemming within the very depths of the rift as moments later, a middle-aged man radiating unstable waves of Hyperversal Extremity Authority was spat out.

He cut a sorry figure, and yet his face showed happiness as he laughed boisterously while waves of shadows crackled around him!

[The 18th Boundary Layer! The 18th! Iʼve half grasped it as I just need to ponder on Shadows a little more before I can fully claim Hyperversal Extremity Authority for myself!]

The man showed immense emotion as he was none other than Moona.

The last genius Elder of the Cult of Endless Shadows to be granted the chance to observe the Shadow Sword as Extremity was in his grasp!

[Yeah yeah, you need the demeanor of a Hyperversal Extremity before you can become one. Control yourself in front of a guest.]

The voice of Flashing Shadow emanated out as Moona raised his eyes while looking towards Extremity Gabriella and Noahʼs visage.

[Oh? Fresh fish to be crushed by the weight of the Shadow Sword? This boy barely gives off waves of Boundaries at the 14th or 15th level…his soul is going to face a severe backlash and be thrown out within a few nanoseconds, you know?]

Moona spoke with a smile while containing himself, the shadows around him forming in a dazzling robe as he depicted a refined figure of a scholar at this moment with his scrutinizing eyes.

He knew better than others how terrifying the pressure of the Shadow Sword was as he was on the 17th Boundary Layer of Shadows and he could only remain in the periphery of the Hyperversal Extremity Authority of the Shadow Sword for days before slowly moving forward and coming in contact with it!

And this was when he felt his mastery in Shadows accelerate as he was now half an Extremity.

For a being with a weak soul who hadnʼt even achieved the 15th or 16th boundary layer? They were asking for trouble to come here!

Moona gazed at Flashing Shadow and Extremity Gabriella as they should know this, but Gabriella shook her head with a grin while motioning Noah forward, her Mental Power sending a private message to Moona.

ʼOur young friend here has an oath as he does not wish to wait. We complete the oath on our end by letting him see the Shadow Sword, if he cannot have his soul withstand even a nanosecond of it…thatʼs on his end. We will keep the Shadow Sword as a carrot for him to chase as a means of interlinking this genius with our Cult.ʼ

…!

The private words sent by the soul were astonishing as Moona couldnʼt help but smile.

He gazed at Noahʼs form that stretched at this moment, his voice coming out with calmness even while surrounded by Hyperversal Extremities.

”How kind of you all to worry about me…but you can rest easy.”

WAA!

His words were indifferent as in the next instant, his body pulsed with light and began to peel.

From it, celestial rainbow-colored skin began to form as a humanoid entity came to be, the head missing a nose and mouth radiant multicolored pupils were the only thing on the face!
