Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 1027 - Fine, Iʼll do it myself! II

After the Hegemonies were left in a stupor from listening to the words of a certain Paragon, they turned their attention towards the Animus Universe where they saw the appearance of the Hegemony of Summoning standing against Ambrose and Solerno!

Her shockingly powerful attack could not be withstood by the two Hegemonies, the many palms she threw out sinking into the body of the planetary sized Solerno as he was smashed back towards the crimson barrier protecting the Universal Construct.

As for Ambrose, the essence of a Cosmic Dao was dismantled in seconds from the sheer quantity of Annihilation from Valentina, his figure ultimately also smashing back as ten of palms were left free to smash into the barrier around Universal construct!

BOOOM...CRACK!

As if space itself shattered, the crimson barrier broke.

Universal experts watched the next second with shining eyes as the phantom of Valentinaʼs fair hand tumbled towards the unprotected Universal Construct.

This was when the ancient sigh was heard. This was when the purple ŀuster of Chronos appeared once more but...it was also when a glimmering Star of Conquest began to shine atop Valentinaʼs head!

Even with the appearance of the regal purple essence, she was unhindered as she continued with a strong expression!

But…

”Absolute Reversal.”

In front of a Dao that stood above many other Daos, what could one do?!

At the words that manipulated the Dao of Chronos, time moved back.

The shattered crimson barrier began to reform as if it shattered glasses coming together, while Valentinaʼs figure was inadvertently being pushed back as even while she released more mana, she still could not stop herself!

RUMBLE!

The color of the regal purple essence spread throughout as Chronos appeared once more in the flesh within the Animus Universe, this time his gaze first landing on the figures of Ambrose and Solerno as his eyes seemed to carry a light of disappointment.

His compatriots failed him for a second time as Chronos appeared, this time intending to finish things himself as he looked towards the valiant looking figure of Valentina that remained floating before him, her aura beginning to rise ever higher as the Star of Conquest above her rotated majestically!

One must recall the boosts a being received for becoming a Vassal under the Lesser Dao of Fealty- among the many things, access the Laws and Lesser Daos of the Tyrannical Emperor was one of them!

Her aura rose madly as Chronos stared at her, his voice coming out calmly.

”You did not run.”

WAA!

”No, I did not!”

At the end of her words, Valentinaʼs eyes shone with a brilliant ŀuster as under the gazes of the recently appearing Oathkeeper behind the boundary of the Animus Universe as well as many other Hegemonies, she actually made a move against Chronos.

One of the giants of the Primordial Cosmos!

A being that only Oathkeeper and the Goliath could stand against- Valentina was fearless as she called out vibrantly.

”[Efflorescence of Annihilation].”

In front of her, enormous droves of essence were utilized as the essence of Annihilation erupted out, forming into blooming illusory flowers that trembled with the destructive forces of hundreds of thousands of galaxies!

Yet, power could not so easily be scaled when it came against beings with such powerful Daos that they had even lived multiple lifetimes!

WAA!

A purple clock appeared above everyone, this clock being over ten thousand miles in size as it released a glorious purple light that washed over everything.

Even the figures of Ambrose and Solerno came close to Chronos as they avoided this shower of purple light, the voice of the terrifying being that had reincarnated countless times ringing out.

”[As it was, so shall it be].”

…!

A set of words that Ambrose and Solerno had uttered before multiple times, but this time they were cast in the form of a skill under the Dao of Chronos.

For other beings with this same Dao, the effects of this skill could be easily negated. But for those that did not comprehend Chronos?

”What…!”

Oathkeeper looked at the scene with cold eyes as even though this was something a being like him could defend against, he knew that others couldnʼt. This was the difference of quality between some Daos.

In just a second, the planetary sized phantom disappeared no matter how much mana Valentina churned the essence of Annihilation to defend against it, eventually only leaving her 2 meter figure behind as the purple essence of Chronos wrapped around her as well!

Her body still burned all the mana it could to try and defend, but it was useless as one could shockingly see her figure was getting increasingly older. From her upper 20s to looking like a woman in her 50s. Wrinkles appeared everywhere as ancientness began to leak from her body.

Her back became hunched as she very quickly looked over a hundred!

Eventually, her skin began to crack and turn grey as very soon...her body split into countless particles of ash.

As it was, so shall it be!

Nothing could escape the ravages of time.

Under the Dao of Chronos, a being could choose to instantly age a being until they turned into dust, or regress them in age until before they were born.

A terrifying ability, and one that Chronos displayed fully today as after he finished, he gazed towards the figures of Oathkeepers and others that just watched the scene of him ”killing” a Hegemony in seconds!

But…

”Hmph!”

A harrumph rang out clearly as outside the universal barrier of the Animus Universe, the figure of Valentina who should have died from the hands of Chronos appeared once more.

…!

A clone had died, so an immense amount of mana was used to make another!

This creation of a clone with the battle power of a Hegemony was extremely taxing, such that Valentina would utilize half of all her mana with every creation. The mana regeneration thereafter could range a few hours until her Universe was fully revitalized even with the immense boosts she received as a vassal.

So her second clone appeared as the observing Hegemonies had their eyes shake at such a scene, Valentina not even glancing at them as the figure of her clone shot through the Universal barrier seamlessly, the star of conquest above her shining brilliantly as she spoke out while prepared for battle once more.

”I wonder...do you get tired, or can you last as long as a certain someone?”

RUMBLE!

Valentina continued her probing attacks in the Animus Universe as the goal the being she pledged Fealty to wasnʼt just to try and break the Universal Construct, it was to also learn about the abilities of their enemies as today, they had been able to draw out the terrifying Chronos and make him reveal his skills!

For the future, Noah was preparing heavily as he planned to cover all his bases as he moved against the powerful existences within the Primordial Cosmos…
