Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 690 - In Just F***ing Seconds!

An eruption of essence silently occurred within Noah as 120,000 skill points were spent instantly, a new skill at the rank of Black Hole appearing!

His eyes shone whole looking at the skill, enhancing it with skill points as a (5/5) appeared in front of it.

All this did was enhance its effectiveness even more, and it was finally read for Noah to try as he came closer to the Dao Crystal that Anna and the Imperial Adjudicator had already begun to touch.

Anastasia looked at this scene interestingly as she saw this being move only a few minutes after he received the ability.

She watched closely as he went toward and placed his hands on the Dao Crystal, a unique air beginning to spread around him.

Her eyes constricted as she saw this appear the moment he sat down, and then her eyes began to tremble a second later as she observed a shocking sight!

The reason for this was because the moment that Noah touched the Dao Crystal containing wisps of the Dao of Summoning, he activated [Dao Of Summoning Traverser] right away.

The skill was nothing like the defective one that one could only embark on the Dao of Summoning if they had a Dao Crystal with a sense of this Dao already, and he could have begun activating the skill even without touching the Dao Crystal!

It might have taken him a few hours or a day before he gained his first understanding in the Dao of Summoning, but that was already multiple times faster than even the top geniuses that Anastasia talked about, and it was guaranteed with his self created skill.

Yet he was currently touching a Dao Crystal containing the Dao of Summoning, so the moment he activated the skill he did not even have to spend a second searching for the Dao of Summoning. It was already in front of him, so it simply came to him!

RUMBLE!

Immense mana poured into the skill because of the restrictions he created, but it meant that the second he sat down and activated the skill...the essence of the Dao of Summoning that he sensed from the Dao Crystal swarmed towards him, essence he did not even know existed flooding into his body on all directions.

An activation of a skill!

A second of passing!

A Dao was learned!

WAAA!

A magisterial pressure erupted out as the essence of a Lesser Dao washed over him, feeling more regal than even the Ultimate Laws as he felt a sense of closeness he could not explain.

BOOM!

His multicolored Black Hole seemed like it was on fire as it began to rotate and expand rapidly, merely the essence of this Grand Law pushing his strength upwards as it felt like...like a cap had been taken off an erupting volcano!

It felt like something within him was setting loose as abstruse waves of something he never came across before...waves of Dao were swimming around his body as they gave him an appallingly ancient aura!

Ah!

The Dao!

On this Day, he had stepped onto the path of the Dao of Summoning!

”...”

Anastasia was looking towards him with her drop-dead gorgeous face losing all of its majesty, her mouth agape as she sensed the essence of the Dao of Summoning beginning to swim around Noah.

ʼThis...was impossible!ʼ

No matter how much of a genius, no matter the talent…doing this in just a matter of seconds?! This was nigh impossible!

Not minutes! Not hours! Not days or even months, but merely seconds!

ʼWhat the f.u.c.k?!ʼ

Even the most splendrous geniuses took days, with many taking months before they could even sense the Dao of Summoning.

Yet this being did not only sense it, he had also began embarking on it as the majestic aura of a Lesser Dao began to permeate around him!

Just what was this creature?!

Absent minded to the shock of Anastasia, Noah opened his eyes as his body felt something unique traveling through it, the Law Origins within him bubbling with excitement as they churned even faster.

A mere wisp of this Dao was able to excite his body and laws, all of them revolving even faster, especially the Ultimate Laws as the Trees of Life and Death began to brim with essence all around them.

The Dao was above the laws, so studying it would only make those below it proceed even faster!

But Noah put this behind him for now as while he embarked on the Dao of Summoning and felt like he could do something with it, he felt like he was missing a piece of something to do it.

So he looked towards Anastasia who was staring at him with shocked eyes, only coming back to herself when she saw his gaze!

She seemed to know what he was thinking as she waved her hands, another bright light shooting off of her as it entered into Noahʼs mind.

Her voice seemed slightly shaken as she spoke, putting her surprise aside for now as she wanted to see just how far this genius could go.

”Once one has stepped into the Dao of Summoning, they need unique skills to utilize its comprehensions to the fullest. We were able to create the techniques that allow us to summon and contract Animus Summons, unique creatures that can only be accessed from an unknown Universe that only those traversing in the Dao of Summoning can call upon!”

RUMBLE

The techniques she talked about entered in Noahʼs mind as he was nearly leaping out with excitement.

”The ability of a being to call upon a powerful Animus Pets depends on luck and their comprehensions in the Dao of Summoning, with those just starting only being able to summon Common ranked pets as it becomes their jobs to use the skills I just imparted to you to raise them to greater levels.”

Beginners would only be able to summon Common pets, with the ranks of pets going from Common to Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and ultimately Prismatic!

The skills that Anastasia imparted to him now were the that could call forth a random Animus Pet for a being to first contract with, and this same skill was used to call forth contracted pets with just the intention of the master.

The other set of skills were in the form of a Skill Tree, one that contained four skills which went on to be termed…[Animus Summon Trainer]!
