The Heart System

Chapter 747: Chapter 747

The trader leaned over the counter with a grin. ”Go on. Pick your poison, fella.”

So... these were my options. I had one hundred and fifty Dungeon Coins. That meant I could buy both a new skill and a common sword.

Still, spending everything the moment I got it felt like a terrible idea.

After thinking it over for a few seconds, I decided to buy only the sword.

CONFIRM PURCHASE?

[YES] [NO]

I pressed yes.

One of the swords leaning against the counter suddenly dissolved into glowing particles. The shimmering dust floated across the room before gathering in my hand, slowly taking shape until it became a real steel sword.

I gave it an experimental swing.

It wasn’t anything fancy, but it felt solid enough.

”You sure that’ll be all?” the trader asked with a smile. ”You won’t be seeing me again for another five levels.”

”Yeah. I’m sure.”

She nodded. ”Then your next door is waiting.”

”Huh?” The double doors behind her slowly creaked open.

I frowned. ”Who are you, really? And where am I?”

She laughed softly. ”Who am I? Just a reflection of who I used to be.”

”What does that even mean?”

”I hope you break your personal record this time.”

I stared at her. ”My personal record?”

She covered her mouth with one hand and giggled. ”Oops.”

I took a step forward. ”Wait.”

”Anyway, bye.”

I blinked. The trader vanished. Hell, the whole counter disappeared. The shelves, sacks, crates, and every single item in the room dissolved into glowing dust until nothing remained except the stone floor and the open doorway ahead.

I slowly turned in place, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Nothing. Only silence.

I looked down at the sword still resting in my hand and let out a slow breath. ”Man...”

With no reason to stay, I walked through the open doorway. The heavy doors closed behind me with a deep thud.

I looked around the new corridor before shaking my head. ”Yeah. That’s enough for today. Let me out.”

The system responded immediately. Everything faded into darkness. A second later, I opened my eyes. I was back in the driver’s seat of my car, parked in front of Luna’s apartment building as if I’d never left.

I glanced at the dashboard clock.

Ten o’clock.

The sun had already set, and the streets outside were lit by rows of streetlights.

I rubbed the back of my neck. ”Okay... that was a pretty good experience, I guess.”

I grabbed the door handle, stepped out of the car, and closed the door behind me before looking up at Luna’s apartment.

Fuck... my reputation points would be destroyed after this night. Luna was a proper masochist. And I meant it. Even worse than Carrie.

The apartment building was modern from the outside, one of those high-end complexes in the upscale part of the city. I was pretty sure this was just a temporary palace for Luna. Everything about her screamed ”rich woman” who could afford way more than this. Still, the place was genuinely nice.

I locked the car and walked toward the entrance. The lobby was clean and minimalist with marble floors, soft lighting, and a large abstract art piece on the wall. I pulled out my phone and called Luna.

A few rings later, she answered.

”Hey, I’m outside. Ring me in?”

A couple of seconds passed before the door buzzed loudly. I stepped inside and heard Luna’s voice through the speaker: ”Second floor,” before she hung up.

The reception area was elegant, polished stone, a small waiting lounge with leather seats, and a subtle scent of expensive candles in the air. To the left were the stairs. I headed up, my footsteps echoing slightly.

The second floor felt luxurious. Soft carpet underfoot, warm lighting from wall sconces, and only a few apartments per floor. There was only one door currently open at the end of the hallway.

Carrie was standing by the open door, waiting for me.

She smiled warmly and opened the door wider, inviting me in.

I walked inside and closed the door behind me with a soft click.

Carrie looked incredible. She was wearing a sheer black babydoll lingerie that barely covered anything. The fabric clung to her thick, voluptuous body, her heavy breasts straining against the material, her soft, slightly plump tummy looking incredibly sexy in that ”just right” way, and her fat, juicy ass looking even bigger and more tempting than usual. A black garter belt hugged her wide hips and thick thighs, the straps digging into her soft flesh in the most delicious way. She wasn’t wearing any panties.

”Welcome,” she said with a sultry smile.

I nodded. ”Where’s Luna?”

”Doing an enema,” Carrie replied casually.

”Enema?” I raised an eyebrow. ”Sheesh. Jasmine and the others just wash thoroughly. Why go that far?”

”She likes to be prepared no matter what,” Carrie said with a small laugh. ”It’d be so good if everyone could just jump straight into anal without any trouble, huh?”

The living room was damn luxurious, nearly on the same level as my penthouse. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful city view, expensive leather sofas, a marble coffee table, and soft ambient lighting that made everything feel intimate and high-end.

Carrie gestured for me to move further into the living room. I followed and sat down on the large couch. She sat right next to me, crossing her thick legs slowly. The motion caused her babydoll to ride up, giving me a clear view of her bare, smooth pussy.

I patted the spot on the couch closer to me. Carrie scooched over obediently until her thick thigh pressed against mine.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and pulled her firmly against me. Her head came to rest on my shoulder, her soft body molding nicely into my side.

”You look like a proper whore today,” I murmured, voice low.

She kept her face mostly neutral, though a faint flush colored her cheeks. ”I guess I do look like one.”
