Chapter 1596 No Way Out

Grey looked at the swords that were used to trap him, he couldnʼt help but marvel at the battle techniques of old people. Even in the Gnome world, all fighters are the same, once theyʼre facing any challenges, they will look for ways to overcome it.

At the moment, the Old man knows that heʼs not as fast as Grey, and after seeing the explosiveness of Greyʼs close range attacks, he was doing everything in jail power to ensure that Grey doesnʼt come close to him.

Grey didnʼt mind this, he just didnʼt think the Old man would have ways to trap him. Of course, he still hasnʼt made use of his space element, and he was keeping that for a surprise attack if it proves too difficult to escape from this hexagon.

The swords attacked, but Grey was steadfast, he didnʼt let any of the swords touch him. His figure moved agilely in the air as he dodged all the attacks coming his way. He shattered a sword, but another one formed almost instantly. He couldnʼt help but shake his head. He knew that he would be trapped there for a while.

The Old man looked at Grey, still wary. He saw Grey coming out from the void and knew that thereʼs a chance he has the space element. They donʼt know the abilities of Grey, and even the Necromancer under the First Prince who fought with him didnʼt speak about his prowess, he only said Grey managed to survive an attack of his and escaped. Seeing Greyʼs speed, the Old man attached it to this. With such speed, itʼs natural that he would choose to escape whenever the odds are against him.

Grey was entangled with the swords, but he was drawing close to the Old man. The Old man could see this and quickly retreated once again. He looked in the direction where he could sense the Fourth Prince and frowned. With the strength that Grey has shown, he knew thereʼs no way he would be able to get to the Fourth Prince soon.

”Hold on a little longer, your Highness.” He muttered under his breath with a serious expression.

He looked at Grey with fury in his eyes. Grey has destroyed his beloved puppet, and not just that, but he was also holding him back from helping the Fourth Prince. If anything happens to the Fourth Prince, he will never be able to forgive himself, especially given the fact that he was so close, yet he couldnʼt do anything.

….

On the other side.

The Fourth Prince looked around worriedly. He was already expecting the Old man to arrive anytime soon, but he couldnʼt sense the Old man close by.

ʼDamn it! That guy has definitely stopped him.ʼ He knew Grey mustʼve stopped the Old man. If Greyʼs around, then his chances of survival are very low.

However, all this was mainly speculation. Greyʼs friends are not the only ones capable of having an elemental technique that creates a lightning armor around them or even have exceptional ice abilities. But he didnʼt want to act oblivious to this. He would react as the time went on. He didnʼt want to make any mistakes, so he wanted to be a hundred percent certain.

ʼOnly Old man Kerr can help me now. Whatʼs taking him so long?ʼ The Fourth Prince was still worried about his odds.

Due to separating the puppet from his battle to help out the Gnome fighting Klaus, he was fighting toe to toe with Reynolds. In fact, he was being slightly overpowered. However, he could still put up with this for a few more minutes, the Gnome wouldnʼt be able to survive the next few seconds with Klaus without his help.

Klaus knew this, so he focused on the puppet, occasionally pissing off the Gnome that was trying to heal himself. The Gnome found it painful since he couldnʼt heal himself, and he could sense that his body was showing signs of freezing up due to too many ice particles that were in his body.

While they were fighting, Klaus naturally infused a lot of ice particles in his body. It didnʼt manifest immediately, but as time went on, it showed itself.

The Gnome wanted to curse at Klaus with all his heart, but he didnʼt have that time. He needed to stop the ice from spreading across his body, before even healing himself. What is annoying is that Klaus isnʼt giving him that chance to heal himself. He was straight out stopping him from eliminating the ice particles. The longer the ice particles stay in his body, the more danger he is in. This is something he is well aware of, but Klaus was making sure he couldnʼt remove it.

ƈοm ”My Prince, help me!” The man screamed.

His fingers were already starting to freeze, and just as he was about to stop them, Klaus attacked once again.

Klaus was being attacked by the puppet, yet he still has time to send out occasional attacks.

The Gnome hasnʼt hated anyone as much as he hated Klaus at the moment. If Klaus finds out about this, he would be proud of himself, and also tell him to join the line. There are a lot of people who Klaus has made hate him, and he doesnʼt think this man has as much hate as some of the others did.

The Fourth Prince took a glance at Klaus and couldnʼt help but snort coldly. He maneuvered to create a space between him and Reynolds, and taking advantage, he attacked Klaus. This time, he didnʼt make the mistake of sending him flying in the direction of the Gnome or his puppet, rather, he sent him in Reynoldsʼ direction.

Klaus sensed the attack, just like the last time. His ice dome appeared and blocked the attack, but he was forced to retreat a few meters from the Gnome as well as the puppet.

The Fourth Prince stood next to the Gnome, his puppet standing by.
