Chapter 1184: Chapter 1184: The Ultimate Dragon’s Plan

”In the Nine Soul Underground Palace Secret Realm outside this continent, your second brother was sealed into his body by the Nine Soul Emperor from the Divine Land. I was the one who saved him...”

Ye Yun smiled gently.

He hadn’t expected that the Evil Phantom Dragon from the Soul Nurturing Wood was actually the brother of the Evil Phantom Dragon in this small world.

What a coincidence.

”Is this Nine Soul Emperor a spirit from the Divine Land?”

The Evil Phantom Dragon’s eyes flickered as it asked in a deep voice.

Ye Yun nodded.

”Damn spirits...”

The Evil Phantom Dragon growled softly, its expression instantly becoming somewhat complicated.

Seeing the change in the Evil Phantom Dragon’s demeanor, Ye Yun seemed to realize something and said with a smile, ”Your brother’s physical body has petrified, and now only a remnant soul remains attached to the Soul Nurturing Wood. After some nurturing, it has grown stronger!”

”As long as the soul remains, one day, my brother can choose a new physical body...”

The Evil Phantom Dragon sighed.

”Are you really my older brother?”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon asked hesitantly.

Though its memory was fragmented, upon seeing the Evil Phantom Dragon before it, a sense of familiarity inexplicably surfaced.

Coupled with the warmth in its words, it gradually began to believe.

”Yes! Brother, I am indeed your older brother!”

The Evil Phantom Dragon sighed, with a look of longing, slowly said, ”Brother, back then your rebellious nature led you to refuse participation in the Ultimate Divine Dragon’s plan, causing you to run away. Unexpectedly, you were caught and imprisoned in the Ten Directions Dragon Prison. Many years have passed, and I thought you had perished, not expecting you still had a lingering soul, truly fortunate...”

As the Evil Phantom Dragon spoke, tears choked its voice.

It seemed certain past events had also saddened this death-defying Evil Phantom Dragon.

Ye Yun released his grip, folding his hands behind his back, calmly observing the scene.

This Evil Phantom Dragon...

After all, it cannot escape the palm of his hand.

So now, with the two brothers meeting, why not give these two dragons a chance?

Freed from constraints, the Evil Phantom Dragon transformed into a black-robed youth, excitedly rushing toward the phantom Evil Phantom Dragon.

”Brother, all our clan members are dead, now only I survive, along with your remnant soul, sob sob sob...”

Rushing to the Soul Nurturing Wood, the black-robed youth extended a hand, gently caressing the phantom Evil Phantom Dragon, pained and choking back sobs.

”Big... Big brother, what exactly happened?

Big brother, I was once held by the Nine Soul Emperor’s Dragon Slaying Sword, my memories are incomplete, now I cannot recall many past events...”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon asked helplessly.

”Damn spirits!”

The black-robed youth withdrew his hand, cursing viciously.

After cursing, his expression once again turned complex.

”If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t your Evil Phantom Dragon traitorous to the Dragon Clan, allying with the Divine Land’s spirits?”

Ye Yun slowly interjected.

”How did you know?”

The black-robed youth looked at Ye Yun, his expression changing unpredictably.

Unexpectedly, the new Ancestor Dragon so easily revealed the secret in his heart.

”This seal was placed by the Dreamy Bewilded Dragon, and you were all killed by it... The Dreamy Bewilded Dragon was the confidant of the former Ancestor Dragon; it killed you perhaps because you betrayed the Dragon Clan! Right?”

Ye Yun sneered.

Hearing Ye Yun’s words, the phantom Evil Phantom Dragon became anxious, its giant dragon eyes focused intently on the black-robed youth, trembling as it asked, ”Big brother, did we really betray the Dragon Clan?”

The black-robed youth revealed a pained expression, lowering his head as if unwilling to meet his brother’s eyes, after several seconds he slowly replied, ”Yes, we betrayed the Dragon Clan!”

”Why did you betray the Dragon Clan?”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon asked emotionally, suddenly raising its voice.

”Why betray? Good question, little brother!

Firstly, because you didn’t want to participate in the Ultimate Divine Dragon’s plan, you were imprisoned in the Ten Directions Dragon Prison...

Secondly, our Evil Phantom Dragon tribe was never welcomed by other Dragon Clans, having no status and being ostracized! With such a Dragon Clan, what was the point of staying?”

The black-robed youth lifted his head, shouting loudly.

”But this can’t be the reason for betraying the Dragon Clan? After all, we were a race created by Lord Ancestor Dragon...”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon said painfully.

The black-robed youth shook his head, grimly smiling as he said, ”Lord Ancestor Dragon went missing, while the Ten Super Divine Dragons waged internal wars, yet we Evil Phantom Dragons had to continue with the Ultimate Divine Dragon Plan... witnessing clan members go mad, little brother! Tell me, could we continue remaining in the Dragon Clan?”

”What exactly is this Ultimate Divine Dragon Plan?”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon asked.

The black-robed youth glanced at Ye Yun, hesitating.

”Go ahead, there’s nothing left to hide at this point, I harbor no ill intentions toward you two brothers...”

Ye Yun shrugged, smiling.

The black-robed youth took a deep breath, finally deciding and slowly speaking, ”This was an absolute secret plan personally devised by Lord Ancestor Dragon. He believed the Ten Super Divine Dragons were not strong enough to resist the spirits of the Divine Land in the future, so he wanted to create an Ultimate Divine Dragon. Our unwanted Evil Phantom Dragon tribe assumed this glorious yet burdensome mission...”

”Did the plan ultimately succeed, big brother?”

The phantom Evil Phantom Dragon asked quickly.

”Consider it a failure; all the clan members died, but I, after dying, came back to life, thus becoming the true Ultimate Divine Dragon...”

The black-robed youth sighed.

Despite becoming the Ultimate Divine Dragon, he felt no joy in his heart.

”Is the so-called Ultimate Divine Dragon Plan about merging the Evil Phantom Dragon tribe with that bizarre energy?”

Ye Yun asked.

”Yes, as Dreamy Bewilded Dragon, the executor and overseer, once borrowed a mysterious sword sheath from Lord Ancestor Dragon, from which it obtained certain strange powers, then injected them into that lake water.

Of course, the lake also contained other materials personally arranged by Lord Ancestor Dragon, with an unclear origin, and many of us bathed in that lake water daily, absorbing its energies while cultivating a set of techniques passed down from Lord Ancestor Dragon...”

The black-robed youth explained slowly.

”What technique?”

Ye Yun raised an eyebrow, asking with interest.

”This technique, self-created by Lord Ancestor Dragon.

It was said Lord Ancestor Dragon had not fully developed it back then, so he did not name it, but Lord Illusion Bewildering Dragon on his own initiative named it as Self-contradictory Dragon Technique.”

The black-robed youth said.

Self-contradictory Dragon Technique?

Ye Yun’s expression subtly changed upon hearing this.

Yun Xiao cultivated The Self-made Dragon Art.

However, this Dreamy Bewilded Dragon regarded the incomplete technique passed down from Ancestor Dragon as Self-contradictory Dragon Technique.

The similar names of these two techniques, could there be a special connection between them?

”My Divine Dragon Sect also has a secret technique, enhancing one’s strength by burning essence blood, called Reverse Dragon Technique. Could there also be some connection among these three?”

A thought abruptly surfaced in Ye Yun’s mind.
