The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2371: Chapter 2371: A Familiar Pyramid Structure

Luthar Wyatt seemed quite surprised: ”Flores, don’t you know about Faith Power?”

Carson Flores shook his head: ”We come from a Middle Immortal Realm and just arrived at the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain not long ago. This is the first time we’ve heard of Faith Power. Could you explain it to us?”

Luthar Wyatt laughed: ”Ah, I see, no wonder you don’t know. To put it simply, there are three thousand Daos, each with its own strengths. The one we interact with most is the Energy Cultivation Path, whereas the Sea God Sect follows the Will Power Path.”

”Everyone’s familiar with the Energy Cultivation Path, so no need for an explanation. But this Will Power Path, ah, it’s about gathering faith, accumulating Faith Power, and cultivating to become Immortal through Will-Power Cultivation...”

Carson Flores was intrigued: ”Develop followers, absorb the incense and faith of the believers, and ultimately become Immortal?”

Luthar Wyatt nodded: ”Yes, that’s about it. The more followers you have, the more Will Power you gain, and the higher your achievements. As long as the number of followers continues to grow, ultimately you can become a Saint.”

Lilianna Norman curiously asked: ”Can one definitely become a Saint? Doesn’t the bottleneck need to be considered?”

Luthar Wyatt laughed: ”Using Will-Power Cultivation disregards bottlenecks, which is the greatest advantage of the Will Power Path.”

Everyone was taken aback. Selah Ellison exclaimed: ”Doesn’t that mean everyone has an Innate Taoist Body?”

Luthar Wyatt nodded: ”Technically, that’s correct, but you can’t just upgrade whenever you want. The Will Power needed for promotion is enormous, and if you want to reach the Saint level, the required Will Power is unimaginably terrifying.”

”Will Power is provided by followers. There can certainly be many followers, but there are just as many people dividing up the Will Power. In this case, gathering more Will Power to reach higher realms becomes extremely difficult.”

”Even without bottlenecks, what good is that if you don’t have enough Will Power? You still can’t advance.”

Carson Flores vaguely understood: ”Perhaps that’s why the Will Power Path hasn’t become widespread everywhere?”

Luthar Wyatt nodded: ”Yes, the Will Power Path seems simple, but it’s actually quite challenging. The prevalence of the Will Power Path in the North Sea relates to its unique geography, power distribution, and the fundamental beliefs of mortals here.”

Carson Flores’s gaze fell on the First-order Sea God Command: ”Can this Sea God Command gather Faith Power?”

”Yes!”

Luthar Wyatt laughed: ”If I take this First-order Sea God Command to a place without faith, and I tell everyone that as long as they believe in the Sea God, the Sea God will respond to their requests and help them, like bringing rain during a drought or providing medicine when they’re sick.”

”When these people discover that believing in the Sea God actually benefits them, and they sincerely believe in the Sea God, I will use this Sea God Command to create many statutes for worship. Every statue is linked to the Sea God Command, and when believers sincerely worship the statues, Faith Power is generated and eventually stored within this Sea God Command.”

”I can cultivate using the Faith Power stored in the Sea God Command, but when my strength gradually increases, the Will Power won’t be enough, so I’ll think of ways to apply for a Second-order Sea God Command. A Second-order Sea God Command can link more worship statues, covering a larger area and more believers, thus collecting even more Will Power.”

”To upgrade to a higher-level Sea God Command, you must pay a certain amount of Faith Power to the Sea God Sect. And after upgrading, you must offer a certain amount of Faith Power within a specified time frame, much like paying taxes.”

Carson Flores, upon hearing this, fully understood the operational mode of the Sea God Sect. This is yet another clear pyramid structure.

The Sea God stands high above, unique and in control of vast amounts of Will Power, and those at the top reap abundant benefits as well. But the lower down you are, the less you receive. If you want to become stronger, you must try hard to climb up.

Samantha Tate commented with keen interest: ”With the Sea God Command, can’t you become a Deity in the hearts of any number of people?”

Luthar Wyatt laughed: ”Immortals can overturn seas and rivers, weave clouds and rain, save people from disasters, and are omnipotent. In the eyes of mortals, isn’t that a deity? Besides, to mortal’s eyes, whether it’s Immortals, Buddhas, or demons, as long as they fulfill their prayers, they will naturally believe in you...”

Selah Ellison asked: ”Then wouldn’t those who have the Sea God Command be very busy, having to listen to numerous followers’ prayers daily and manage each one?”

Luthar Wyatt shrugged: ”You can’t possibly satisfy everyone. An Immortal seeks Will Power, not serving mortals. They might help a few individuals when in a good mood, but otherwise ignore them. However, in the face of natural disasters or plagues, just appearing to resolve matters is already enough. Mortals have brief lives; most of their wishes are merely for enough food, clothing, and freedom from disease. Achieving these makes them believe they’re under Immortal protection.”

Carson Flores laughed: ”Chenglong, do you believe in the Sea God Sect?”

Luthar Wyatt chuckled: ”I don’t believe in it, but I do think the Will Power Path is quite amusing. I’m planning to get a Sea God Command to play with. It’s not in conflict with the Energy Cultivation Path at all...”
