The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2109: Chapter 2109: You Really Have a Kind Heart

”A cultivator may look young, but their age might not be as it appears...”

Mack Conley casually replied and then asked, ”Check his condition, can he be saved?”

Judith Hamilton checked him over: ”It seems he’s quite injured, but his life isn’t in danger. Should we save him?”

Mack Conley frowned, scanning the others.

Although he was the leader, having an unexplained addition to the team required consulting the others.

”What do you all think?”

Carson Flores decisively said, ”Save him!”

Callan Mason hesitated, then said, ”Let’s save him. Once he wakes up, he can leave on his own.”

Chana Hinton nodded, ”We can’t just watch him die, right? After all, we’re not enemies...”

Mack Conley saw no one objected, so he turned to Judith Hamilton and said, ”Save him.”

Judith Hamilton used her Divine Sense to scan him, her expression slightly puzzled: ”The meridians in his body are severely damaged but it’s not life-threatening, so why is he still unconscious?”

Carson Flores stepped forward, checked his pulse, and used his Divine Sense to scan again, furrowing his brow.

As Judith Hamilton said, the young man’s meridians were severely damaged, but that shouldn’t be the cause of his unconsciousness.

Was his head impacted during battle?

Carson Flores took out an elixir for healing meridian injuries and fed it to the young man, then stood up and said, ”His physical problems aren’t too serious. Perhaps his head was impacted, leaving him unable to wake up immediately. Let’s take him with us; we can’t just leave him here, can we?”

No one objected, and with their strength, traveling with one more person was effortless unless they encountered danger.

Mack Conley asked, ”Judging from your earlier actions, do you know medical practice?”

Carson Flores replied, ”I’m an Alchemist; I know a bit about medical practice since elixirs and medicine are connected.”

Mack Conley nodded, ”Then leave him in your care for now, can you do that?”

Carson Flores found it appropriate, as he was the one who suggested taking the young man along, and as someone with medical skills, it was natural for him to care for him, so he readily agreed, ”Sure, I’ll take care of him.”

They went on their way, with Carson Flores placing the unconscious young man on the Flying Boat, carefully observing his condition.

Since they were traveling together, Carson Flores naturally wanted to heal him as soon as possible.

With ample time on the road, Carson Flores conducted a detailed examination of the young man, but it made him frown.

Very strange.

The young man’s physique was excellent, even better than his own, yet he appeared very weak, with multiple severe injuries and even ruptures in his meridians, indicative of sustaining intense attacks that resulted in ruptured meridians.

Also, his Sea of Consciousness was closed, leaving Carson Flores unable to determine his level of power.

Judging by his muscles and bones, the young man should be beyond an Immortal, but being unconscious and having a closed Sea of Consciousness made it difficult to gauge his power level.

So young, with an Immortal Physique, could he be an extraordinary talent?

Carson Flores gave the young man elixirs to repair his meridians and replenish his Spiritual Energy. During breaks, he also brewed some medicine for him.

The elixirs refined by Carson Flores were no ordinary items, and extremely targeted; soon, the young man’s condition began to show signs of improvement, but after two days, he remained unconscious.

Carson Flores found it strange but didn’t dwell on it, acknowledging the complexity of the human brain, where sometimes injuries are undetectable under examination.

”He still hasn’t woken up; are we just going to keep carrying him along?”

Carson Flores expressed some helplessness: ”His clothes don’t bear a Sect mark, and even though he has a Space Ring, it’s sealed, so I can’t open it. Since he hasn’t woken up, I can’t just toss him aside, right?”

Carson Flores glanced at the still-unconscious young man, shook his head, and said, ”Since we came across him, he’s so young, and not caring for him means he’s likely to encounter Demonic Beasts, which would be trouble.”

Chana Hinton laughed softly, ”You have a kind heart.”

Carson Flores shook his head, saying nothing more.

Within his abilities, Carson Flores didn’t mind helping others, especially since they weren’t enemies.

When facing enemies, Carson Flores never shows mercy.

This is normal human nature.

Carson Flores never wished to become colder and more inhumane as his strength and Realm increase.

”Such a pleasant aroma...”

Callan Mason, standing at the front of the Flying Boat, suddenly said, inhaling deeply and then turning to ask, ”Do you smell that?”

Everyone sniffed carefully, and sure enough, the air was filled with a rich fragrance.

Carson Flores sniffed tentatively, like... a winter plum?

No, the scent is different!

This fragrance had an element that cleared one’s mind, unlike what winter plum could do.

Immortal Elixir?

As an Alchemist, Carson Flores was naturally familiar with various medicinal herbs, and his mind quickly filtered through and identified the most likely herb.

”Look around, it could be Red Yulan Mushroom. Once this mushroom matures, it usually appears in clusters, spreading a scent similar to winter plum...”
