Dragon God Supreme

Chapter 1893: Chapter 1892: The Story of the Dragon God Clan

”This ruined palace was once the palace of the Dragon God Clan, but after the great battle, it no longer exists.”

The old man in a white robe smiled calmly in the crumbled and shattered palace square.

The palace was enormous, but it no longer retained its original grandeur and had become a ruin.

Except for the main palace, which was barely preserved, hundreds of other palaces were destroyed, a ghastly sight.

The old man in white said, ”I have been cultivating here in seclusion for nearly a hundred thousand years.”

”A hundred thousand years...” Tian Sha’s old eyes almost popped out.

In the devastated and unrecognizable square, Feng Wuchen noticed numerous tombstones nearby and couldn’t help asking, ”Senior, are these all members of the Dragon God Clan?”

”Not all of them; there are also other ancient powerhouses,” the old man in white said calmly, casting a glance at the tombstones, his old eyes revealing a trace of sadness.

”Senior, may I know your name? You are an ancient powerhouse and should be the ancestor of the Ancient Dragon God Clan,” Feng Wuchen asked respectfully.

The old man in white smiled faintly, ”I am Long Shi Hun, one of the ancestors of the Dragon God Clan.”

”One of the ancestors?” Feng Wuchen looked at Long Shi Hun in surprise.

Long Shi Hun smiled calmly, ”The Ancient Dragon God Clan had three ancestors, and I am one of them.”

”What about the other two ancestors? Did they die in battle?” Feng Wuchen asked curiously.

Long Shi Hun shook his head and said, ”They are still alive but not in this world.”

”I see.” Feng Wuchen nodded, not pursuing further, then asked, ”Senior, could you tell me what happened back then? Why does the Divine Realm regard the Dragon God Clan as an inferior race and consider the Heavenly Realm and the Mainland as forgotten lands?”

Long Shi Hun said, ”In ancient times, a cataclysmic battle broke out. On one side were ancient powerhouses led by the Dragon God Clan, and on the other were those led by the Demon Clan, resulting in heavy casualties. That battle severely injured the Dragon God Clan, and the ancient bloodline origin vanished.”

”The bloodline origin vanished? Does that mean the descendants can’t awaken the ancient bloodline?” Feng Wuchen frowned and asked.

”Indeed, it has been a hundred thousand years! In those hundred thousand years, no descendant of the Dragon God Clan has awakened the ancient bloodline, except for you. This means that the ancient bloodline origin, after a hundred thousand years, is gradually recovering. Your emergence is the future of the Dragon God Clan. Once the bloodline origin is restored, all members of the Dragon God Clan can awaken their ancient bloodline, and the clan can once again prosper. That’s why I’m excited,” Long Shi Hun said with a joyful smile.

”Why did the bloodline origin vanish?” Feng Wuchen asked in confusion.

Long Shi Hun recalled, ”The bloodline origin was controlled by the three ancestors. To fight against the Demon Clan, we three had to exhaust our bloodline power, leading to the disappearance of the origin.”

”Did the Dragon God Clan lose that battle?” Feng Wuchen asked.

”The Dragon God Clan did not lose, yet also lost,” Long Shi Hun said, shaking his head helplessly.

This statement left Feng Wuchen puzzled. Did they lose or not?

”In terms of strength, the Dragon God Clan and the Demon Clan were evenly matched. That battle ended in mutual destruction. During the division of realms, the Dragon God Clan was placed in the Human Realm and Heavenly Realm, while the Demon Clan was in the Seven Divine Realms. This is why in the Divine Realm, the Dragon God Clan is referred to as an inferior race,” Long Shi Hun explained.

”What kind of race is the Demon Clan? I’ve never heard of the Seven Divine Realms,” Tian Sha asked.

”The Divine Realm’s Great Main God is a member of the Demon Clan, and the seven Great Main Gods are also from the Demon Clan. The Divine Realm is the territory of the Demon Clan, so most of the major forces and powerhouses are descendants of the Demon Clan,” Long Shi Hun said, looking at Tian Sha.

After a pause, Long Shi Hun continued, ”The reason I said the Dragon God Clan lost is because of the emergence of evil individuals within the clan.”

”Evil individuals?” Feng Wuchen frowned slightly and asked, ”Even the ancestors couldn’t deal with them?”

Long Shi Hun sighed, ”Three super talents emerged within the Dragon God Clan, with extremely high cultivation and formidable strength. The three ancestors were severely injured from the great war and couldn’t deal with them. The Dragon God Clan’s defeat was entirely because of those three individuals.”

”Their overwhelming power bred evil thoughts, leading them to believe others were unworthy of being part of the Dragon God Clan. Their strength approached the ancestors’ realm. Due to them, many strong individuals of the Dragon God Clan and other powerhouses were mercilessly slaughtered. Some even willingly submitted to them, nearly causing the clan’s destruction. Only descendants in the Human Realm and Heavenly Realm survived, leading to the Dragon God Clan’s decline for a hundred thousand years.”

”After the realms were divided, they coexisted with the Demon Clan, leaving the Divine Realm. For a hundred thousand years, they’ve been in the Holy Realm, while I and other ancient powerhouses remain in the Heavenly Realm, setting up barriers to seal all the major powers of the great war here. Only by our disappearance would the war come to an end.”

By the end, Long Shi Hun couldn’t help but feel a wave of sadness.

Feng Wuchen frowned, ”I never imagined such a tragic event occurred during ancient times, nor that the Dragon God Clan would suffer such a calamity.”

”Are there other ancient powerhouses in the relic?” Tian Sha asked in shock.

Beside him, Dantong said, ”Of course, otherwise, did you think it’s just me and Long senior? The other ancient powerhouses are all in slumber.”

”Feng Wuchen, your ability to awaken the ancient bloodline indicates that your body is beginning to nurture the bloodline origin. The future of the Dragon God Clan rests on your shoulders,” Long Shi Hun said, looking at Feng Wuchen with great hope.

”Can’t the senior’s bloodline origin be restored?” Feng Wuchen asked.

Long Shi Hun shook his head, ”My bloodline origin has already withered. It requires new bloodline origin to be stimulated. My recovery also depends on you.”

”I see,” Feng Wuchen nodded in understanding.

Long Shi Hun then took out a treasure and handed it to Feng Wuchen, ”This is the Dragon God Clan’s ancient divine artifact, the Bloodthirsty Banner. Since you have ascended to the Divine Realm, you must be cautious. Keep your identity hidden to avoid pursuit by the Demon Clan.”

”Thank you, senior! I will be careful,” Feng Wuchen bowed in gratitude, feeling overwhelming joy in his heart.

”Dantong, Feng Wuchen’s safety is entrusted to you. If anything happens to him, I will not spare you!” Long Shi Hun said, looking at Dantong.

”Don’t worry, Long senior, I won’t let anything happen to Feng Wuchen,” Dantong assured, patting his chest.

Feng Wuchen looked at Dantong and said, ”Unless absolutely necessary, you shouldn’t make a move to avoid revealing your identity. I’m concerned it would draw more attention from the Demon Clan.”

”Feng brother speaks rightly,” Dantong nodded with a smile.

Having a Nine-Star Great Archgod realm ancient powerhouse as a bodyguard was indeed extravagant, and Feng Wuchen was not about to refuse it.

”Feng Wuchen, your current cultivation is still weak. I grant you the Dragon Soul essence to help you step into the Divine Emperor realm,” Long Shi Hun said with a faint smile.

”Break through to the Divine Emperor!” Feng Wuchen felt overwhelmingly joyous.
