Dragon God Supreme

Chapter 734: Chapter 734: Unable to Recruit Students Chapter 734: Chapter 734: Unable to Recruit Students “`

Dragon God Palace had become a significant power in the Star Realm in less than a year.

Such astounding growth speed truly shocked everyone and was beyond belief.

Shangguan Yunyun had seen many great powers, but she had never heard of any that developed so astonishingly.

What Shangguan Yunyun and the others didn’t know was that Dragon God Palace had also established the Dragon God Alliance, bringing together the power of the major forces of the Wuji Domain to form an extremely large alliance force.

Of course, Lin Moyang didn’t explain that; he was just reminding the students of Holy Soul Academy not to provoke Dragon God Palace, which was also a well-intentioned reminder.

“President Lin, three elders, I still need to take them back to the academy to report, so I will take my leave now,” Shangguan Yunyun said with a polite smile.

“Instructor Shangguan, take your time,” Lin Moyang nodded.

Shangguan Yunyun was about to return to the academy with the new students when she realized that a few of them were looking downcast, seemingly preoccupied with worries.

“What’s wrong?” Shangguan Yunyun asked in confusion.

“Instructor Shangguan, can I change my mind? I don’t want to go to Holy Soul Academy anymore,” a genius suddenly spoke up, looking somewhat afraid.

“Not going anymore?” Shangguan Yunyun heard this and was utterly astonished.

Could it be a mistake? Countless geniuses on the Mainland were dreaming of entering Holy Soul Academy, and this genius had smoothly obtained a spot, yet he said he didn’t want to go!

“Have you lost your mind, kid?” a student couldn’t help but scold, clearly infuriated.

“I don’t want to go either; I want to go to Dragon God Palace,” another student declared firmly.

Yet another genius said, “Although Holy Soul Academy is the top academy on the Mainland, I don’t want to go anymore.”

Hearing the three of them speak like this, Shangguan Yunyun didn’t know what to say for a moment.

She didn’t know if it was because of the recent events that had left a bad impression on them and caused them to dislike Holy Soul Academy.

“Dragon God Palace! Dragon God Palace!” Chongyun raged, “What’s so good about Dragon God Palace? Can it compare to Holy Soul Academy? Holy Soul Academy has Earth-Rank Techniques and Earth Grade Martial Skills, does Dragon God Palace have them? The dean and elders of the academy are Divinity Transformation Realm powerhouses, does Dragon God Palace have them? Compared to the academy, Dragon God Palace is nothing!”

Chongyun was so angry that he was nearly bursting with rage; the mere mention of Dragon God Palace set him on fire.

Chongyun’s outburst terrified the geniuses, turning their faces pale.

“Shut up!” Shangguan Yunyun shouted coldly at Chongyun, giving him a fierce glare.

“Holy Soul Academy isn’t what you imagine it to be; it’s just that some students are a bit arrogant, while many students perform very well,” Shangguan Yunyun said patiently.

“Instructor, I really don’t want to go anymore,” a genius stated resolutely, with an expression that said nothing would make him go to Holy Soul Academy.

“Whoosh whoosh whoosh!”

Suddenly, intense sounds of cutting through the air arrived, and more than a dozen figures flew over, their speed astonishing; within a few blinks of an eye, they appeared in front of Shangguan Yunyun and the others.

“Instructor Qin Wushuang?” Shangguan Yunyun and Chongyun were surprised beyond words.

The newcomer was one of the instructors at Holy Soul Academy, Qin Wushuang, followed by over a dozen students.

Shangguan Yunyun asked in confusion, “Instructor Wushuang, why have you come?”

“Could we not come?” Qin Wushuang said with a face full of frustration and helplessness, “We haven’t been able to recruit a single student this year. The geniuses who came to register didn’t qualify, and those who qualified didn’t come to register at all.”

“Not even one registered?” Chongyun and the others were dumbfounded.

“Sigh, it’s really strange. I went looking for them one by one, and they said they hadn’t considered going to Holy Soul Academy,” Qin Wushuang became more helpless as he spoke and felt incredibly frustrated.

This kind of strange phenomenon had never happened before.

In the past, wasn’t the enrollment at Holy Soul Academy always fiercely competitive, with thousands clamoring to sign up?

“It’s indeed strange, this year in the Star Realm, there are only a little over a hundred people. In previous years, there were several thousand,” said Shangguan Yunyun, frowning.

“Instructor Shangguan, they all say they want to join the Dragon God Palace, and many of the geniuses have already become part of the Dragon God Palace,” a student said.

“Join the Dragon God Palace?” Shangguan Yunyun couldn’t help but look toward those three regretful geniuses.

“Wushuang Instructor, these three are also having second thoughts, saying they want to join the Dragon God Palace,” said Chongyun, spreading his hands.

“The Dragon God Palace is in the Star Realm, I just want to see what kind of force this Dragon God Palace really is, why so many geniuses prefer it over the Holy Soul Academy. Moreover, I’ve never heard of this Dragon God Palace in previous years,” Qin Wushuang said with a wry smile.

“Whoosh whoosh whoosh!”

Just as Qin Wushuang’s voice fell, there came a series of whooshing sounds from the sky not far away.

“Instructor Yang Yiyun?”

“Instructor Xu Tianhong?”

Seeing these people appear, Chongyun and the others were taken aback, as if they had all guessed something.

“You couldn’t recruit students either?” Qin Wushuang asked in astonishment, and he didn’t see any other unfamiliar faces either.

“Exactly,” said Instructor Yang Yiyun with a bitter smile. “This year is really bizarre. The geniuses from the Western Region have all joined some Dragon God Palace.”

“The same goes for the Wuji Realm; truly strange. What exactly is this Dragon God Palace, that all the geniuses have joined it?” Xu Tianhong was full of urgency.

“Let’s not mention it, Instructor Wushuang over there couldn’t recruit anyone either, and to think the dean even gave us two extra slots. Now, these three are having regrets and saying they want to join the Dragon God Palace too,” Shangguan Yunyun said helplessly.

In the four Earth Ranks of the Wuji Domain, apart from Shangguan Yunyun, the other three instructors couldn’t recruit a single student, this was definitely the strangest event since the establishment of Holy Soul Academy.

“Instructor, could it be that the Dragon God Palace knew our academy was about to recruit students and they started taking in people in advance?” a student speculated.

“It must be so, instructor, we should go to the Dragon God Palace and find out!”

“Exactly! The Dragon God Palace is competing with our academy for people!”

“Instructor, let’s go to the Dragon God Palace right now!”

The students were all enraged and clamoring to head to the Dragon God Palace to get to the bottom of things.

“You are people from the Star Realm; do you understand anything about the Dragon God Palace?” Qin Wushuang asked Mo Qingyun and others.

“The Young Master Mo understands it relatively well; we don’t come from major forces or prominent families, so we have little understanding of the Dragon God Palace,” said a genius, slightly shaking his head.

Shangguan Yunyun and Qin Wushuang, among others, couldn’t help but turn their eyes to Mo Qingyun.

Among them, only Mo Qingyun had a better understanding of Feng Wuchen and the Dragon God Palace.

The Tiandao Sect was a part of the alliance forces, it’s just that Mo Qingyun wished to go to the Holy Soul Academy.

Mo Qingyun was silent for a moment before saying, “I am also a person from the Dragon God Palace, but I have some grievances with Feng Wuchen, which is why I planned to go to the Holy Soul Academy. I advise you all not to go to the Dragon God Palace.”

“Is the Dragon God Palace very strong?” asked a student arrogantly.

“Even more powerful than you can imagine,” Mo Qingyun answered.

“I really don’t believe that the Dragon God Palace is stronger than the Holy Soul Academy!” another student said unconvinced.
