Three Towers Game

Chapter 1353: Chapter 430: Prison Storms_2

However, if the lost souls lack the necessary knowledge base... they will be completely abandoned.

The tenth card, prison workhorse.

Once played, it will make lost souls feel endless fatigue, and all kinds of dirty and exhausting tasks will be assigned to them.

Benefit: Unknown.

Drawback: Mental torment. If the spirit value is below a certain point, it will keep dropping; if above, benefits are triggered.

Ten cards...

There’s almost no card that purely revitalizes or benefits the person.

This card draw is worse than the last one.

And the Judge still holds twenty cards.

The Judge said:

”People in prison don’t have any public opinion; I need to tell you, Jin Yiming is the type all the inmates hate the most.”

Wen Xishu understood, jian sha.

Indeed, this type gets bullied in any prison.

The Judge said:

”This time, you have no chance of winning.”

First round, the Judge plays first, and draws the first card.

Prison Demon King.

Once played, a powerful leader among inmates is generated; this is the thorn in the side for the warden and guards, but in a dark enough prison environment, he can also be their good ally.

Wen Xishu watched the simulation, where the screen composed of countless cards showed a man smoking a cigar and playing ping pong in the prison’s public lounge.

He was muscular, with fierce eyes, surrounded by a gang.

[Poor Jin Yiming did not know the prison rules and provoked this prison tyrant on the first day.]

[Jin Yiming was beaten up. Physical value -5, spirit value -10, remaining physical value 75, remaining spirit value 50.]

Normal physical and spirit values are out of 100.

But right now, Jin Yiming’s mental and physical state is far from optimal.

Wen Xishu said nothing and played a card called Tempered.

This card allows Jin Yiming, the lost soul, to have terrifying physical potential, but he needs to fulfill that potential and train.

The Judge sneered:

”Do you think he’ll have the chance to get stronger?”

After Wen Xishu played the card, the game simulation continued for several days.

In these days, Jin Yiming didn’t have the privilege of sleeping on a bed in the prison dormitory, as his cellmate was one chosen by the Prison Demon King.

Jin Yiming was tethered next to the toilet, and sometimes his cellmate would get up to urinate, deliberately splashing liquid onto Jin Yiming.

Yet Jin Yiming didn’t react.

After losing his loved ones, such humiliation meant little to him.

”He’s a deeply emotional person...”

This was Wen Xishu’s analysis.

He could sense a kind of resilience in Jin Yiming; though shattered by the grievous blow, such a person might appear collapsed.

But precisely because of this, when they pull themselves together again, they explode with unimaginable energy.

That’s why, in many revenge narratives, the protagonist often goes through inhuman torture.

All revenge in this world is alike.

Yet these days, Jin Yiming didn’t have enough to eat, had spitting added to his food, and couldn’t sleep well, resting by the toilet...

This can’t continue indefinitely without consequence.

The Judge played a second card at this point: the Exclusion card.

Specifically targeting prison inmates.

Once played, all inmates in the prison will especially exclude new arrivals.

Wen Xishu quickly responded with a special event card, new cellmate.

The Judge laughed:

”It’s useless; even if you play that card, you can’t change the fact that the lost soul is also a newcomer.”

Wen Xishu didn’t respond. He was distracted.

For some reason, the Judge suddenly felt a bit nervous.

Why... distracted again? Why does this feel so familiar?

It looked at Wen Xishu and waved its hand in front of his face; Wen Xishu didn’t react.

The Judge was astonished.

This man must be doing something unknown!

But what could it be?

...

...

World of Deceit Tower.

In the fictional prison, a new prisoner arrived that day.

Wen Xishu looked at his number, 2803, recalling the sins he committed.

Murderer.

Intentional homicide, because his wife ran away with someone else, so he killed both his wife and her lover, even his child, finding out that even the child wasn’t his own.

He’d helped raise the lover’s child for years.

Well, despite being a virgin, he ended up as Old Wang’s neighbor in Deceit Tower.

Wen Xishu didn’t mind; everything was just background setting.

Upon entering prison, the Prison Demon King—a tyrant created by the Judge—was ready to deal with him.

Wen Xishu, however, planned to reestablish order.

This is the power of Scorpion Knife.

Indeed, this round had no forum, possibly exposing his trump card; the previous round, the Judge couldn’t grasp what that forum post was about, given the large number of netizens, such incidents can happen.

But this time, there aren’t the common public in the prison. Yet there still are many people suiting the ”passerby” setup.

And with greater risk comes greater reward.

Last round, Wen Xishu couldn’t directly converse with Ning Shu, but this round, he can directly talk with Jin Yiming.

The Judge looked at the text simulation, becoming a bit anxious.

[A newcomer arrived in prison; due to heightened exclusion sentiments, the newcomer was quickly surrounded and beaten by the inmates, ￥%...&]

The beginning seemed normal, the Judge thought there was no issue.

But soon some symbols emerged, meaning there was a problem with the simulation.
