Three Towers Game

Encountering the Glutton, with no way to retreat.

”Mama mia! What is this gi—” Huohua wanted to speak, but was already silenced by Wen Xishu’s hand from behind.

With the refrigerator, embodying the ”responsibility,” ”competitive spirit,” ”pressure,” and ”materialism” brought by parents, closed, the Glutton is left with no food to eat.

The hungrier it gets, the angrier it becomes.

It repeatedly pounds the floor, causing damage across the screen. There is no corner to hide.

Wen Xishu dies from this move without a doubt; he is now stronger, but enduring this move, he will still die.

Wen Xishu did not delay and immediately said:

”It needs love to fill the hunger, but the food in the fridge… has parental expectations, competitiveness, abundant materialism… yet lacks love.”

”I’ve experienced several places, lived through Charlie’s life, and I can only find you two.”

”Next, either we die together, or… we successfully open the path to the next area.”

Before the Glutton launched its next full-scale attack, Wen Xishu shouted loudly:

”Charlie! I’m here!”

Although the Glutton is not Charlie, part of Charlie’s will certainly exists.

Because during the last duel, Wen Xishu turning into a centipede reminded the Glutton of some things, so it didn’t eat Wen Xishu directly.

Upon hearing the name Charlie, the Glutton immediately looked toward the source of the voice.

Seeing Wen Xishu, it instinctively felt hungry, wanting to devour him.

But instantly…

Wen Xishu took out the teddy bear and the doll.

There were two sparks in Charlie’s life. These were the only two beams of light in a life filled with dust.

At the appearance of the teddy bear and the doll, not far away, the leftover scraps from food began to emit a faint light.

Your best friend is ().

Charlie’s answer was Huohua.

Yet a teacher’s note of a prominent, huge, erroneous red x marked it.

Now, that red x gradually fades away.

The teddy bear wagged its tail continuously; it feared the Glutton, but at this moment, it believed its little master’s heart recognized it.

And Anya silently shed tears.

She dared not imagine what Charlie’s life would be like afterward, unable to fathom the ordeal poor Charlie went through to become such a monster.

Two kinds of affection released in a loveless kitchen.

At this moment, the Glutton’s enormous body began to shrink constantly.

”I… hungry…”

”Mom and Dad… I’m hungry…”

”I’m really… so hungry…”

The Glutton’s voice no longer vicious, but with a bit of child-like innocence.

Its body shrinks continuously, always calling Mom and Dad but without response.

Eventually, when it’s the size of Wen Xishu.

It seems not so hungry anymore.

”Huohua, Huohua… I seem not hungry.”

Here, Huohua doesn’t merely refer to the already dead pet.

But the only two beams of light in Charlie’s life.

Humans are creatures with great tolerance; when they can’t receive love from blood relations, they can receive love from elsewhere.

Just like when one can’t eat at home, the soul and body will seek places with food.

Anya’s unstoppable tears flow.

She suddenly realized Charlie is far more fragile than herself; while she constantly looked for Charlie to confide, she ignored... Charlie was the one more in need of dependence.

In this world, there is actually another form of violence, not as terrifying or painful as physical violence, but the neglect and indifference to love, the constant feeling it brings that you’re not important enough... can pierce through your entire life.

Can make your world crumble every time you lose something important.

The Glutton is finally full.

When Huohua and Anya appeared together, shortly its huge figure shrank to a normal human size, then it shrank to the size of Huohua and Anya.

It no longer appeared ferocious.

Finally, the grease and dust came off its body, turning it into a doll.

That was Charlie’s childhood figure.

Teddy bear, Charlie’s doll, Anya’s doll.

The Glutton was how Charlie looked when he couldn’t get the love he desired.

Then the doll Charlie was his fantasy of obtaining parental love.

The doll even had a gold medal and a small award. Because Charlie knew, his father didn’t love the bronze medal he got in the math competition; his father liked gold medals.

He thought if he won the gold medal, his father would love him.

Wen Xishu shook his head; when children become tools for parental pride, such competitive desire will never end.

In short, collect the three items. Everything went as Wen Xishu planned.

Indeed, the Clock Tower is the first chapter. To explore the Clock Tower, then explore the Academy, and only then find Anya’s doll.

With these two, the Glutton’s hunger can be satiated.

Ultimately, this leads to the Wall of Rejection.

Undoubtedly, a door appears once more.

This time, the door is covered with many handprints, not arms.

These handprints look like someone despairingly beating the door, leaving marks.

Wen Xishu knows it’s a metaphor.

The Forever Hungry Kitchen is a loveless place.

Symbolizes Charlie’s countless times beating the door, pleading to the world for love.

But he couldn’t get love; ultimately, that unfulfilled longing turned into the Glutton in the Forever Hungry Kitchen.

Wen Xishu opened the door…

The world outside was walls made purely of dust.

The final chapter, the Wall of Rejection.

”Leave, leave, disgusting humans!”

”Leave, leave, repulsive humans!”

When you realize the world doesn’t have love, when the love you obtained is taken away by others…

Perhaps you will shut off your heart.

The Wall of Rejection is the wall of protection.

No power can pass through the Wall of Rejection; maybe Sagittarius might achieve this with an Extermination Arrow…

But it will only create a bigger wall.

To enter the Wall of Rejection, you must search several areas in the Land of Dust, solve puzzles, and piece together Charlie’s life.

In this process, find the critical items, and overcome the negative impacts the monsters in the Land of Dust bring.

Wen Xishu finally accomplished everything; evidently, this process is not easy.

Looking at the endless walls, and countless arms on them…

Wen Xishu took a deep breath:

”Let’s go in.”

Once again, as before, Wen Xishu didn’t defend at all, allowing the arms of the Wall of Rejection to cover his face.

The Wall of Rejection is penetrable. But not with malice.

Last time, Wen Xishu held no malice, yet he died because he hadn’t collected all the critical items from each area.

This time, Wen Xishu had collected them. Three items, Teddy, Doll, and toy, like Guardian Angels provided Wen Xishu with immense Life Force, and the benevolence to cross the Wall of Rejection.

When such suffocating sensation arrived… he felt no fear, but let it spread through his body.

Soon, the dust-filled darkness disappeared.

Wen Xishu entered a special place.

[Congratulations on successfully entering the Wall of Rejection, you’ve received an invitation. You desire to change Charlie’s life, but next, you must enter the Intermediate Land to make a choice for Charlie’s life.]

??

Wen Xishu experienced such a situation for the first time, to receive an invitation, yet enter the Intermediate Land?

His consciousness suddenly plunged into chaos.

Wen Xishu didn’t know where he had to go. After a while, he saw some light in the chaos.

Unknown Land.

Outside the huge round table, sixteen figures stood.

The scene around the round table looked like a chaotic starry sky, but also like a void black curtain.

The constellation conference commenced.

Though, this time, there was one more person.

”Brother, you are here.”

Wen Xishu was shocked, this is Scorpio’s voice?

What kind of weird place is this? How did the Wall of Rejection bring him to Scorpio’s side?

No…

Not only Scorpio.

One by one, the oppressive ”Gods” appeared as shadows before Wen Xishu’s eyes.

Scorpio said:

”In the past, we seldom contested for someone by this means, but strangely, Charlie has what most of us desire.”

”So, congratulations, brother, as the one about to change Charlie’s fate, everyone decided to persuade you to make choices beneficial to them.”

”Welcome to the conference.”
