Three Towers Game

Chapter 514: Chapter 153: The Tail of the Chosen Train

Inside the train.

The memories of Xiaojin, Yue Yun, and others were all completely replaced.

At this moment, in their eyes, the train had turned into the ”Chosen Train.”

After Wen Xishu returned to the carriage, he immediately realized something was off.

He found Xiaojin, Nissen, and the others in the carriage.

Five people were sitting in the second-to-last row. Wen Xishu appeared in the last row.

”I didn’t expect us to successfully reach the eighth carriage. Ah Shu, the ninth carriage depends on you,” Ah Miao said.

Wen Xishu was truly taken aback. Upon returning, he found himself with several friends.

He was somewhat surprised; did this single-player game turn into a multiplayer game?

This is the inconvenient part of the invitation letter: those without it will have their memories replaced.

This is indeed good, but those who have the invitation letter do not receive many additional memory corrections.

Wen Xishu knew that the content of the train had changed.

But now he was still clearly a bit stunned. How did Ah Miao and the others end up in the same carriage as him?

So Wen Xishu thought for a moment and directly asked:

”Ah Miao, what happened earlier?”

Upon hearing this question, everyone looked at Wen Xishu in surprise.

What happened earlier?

How could this possibly be a question Wen Xishu would ask?

However, Ah Miao suddenly understood and said in surprise:

”Could it be...”

Wen Xishu nodded and simply said:

”Similar to when we were at the Reversed Seven Mansion.”

Ah Miao nodded repeatedly:

”Mm, mm, mm. I didn’t expect the feeling of the esteemed ones to be like this. It feels... so natural.”

Ah Miao and Wen Xishu seemed to be speaking in riddles. Wen Xishu did not explain the mechanism of the invitation letter because Ah Miao already understood.

Although the others did not understand, they didn’t mind. After a brief curiosity, everyone cherished the time and immediately began explaining to Wen Xishu.

After listening, Wen Xishu found that... the gameplay of the Chosen Train had significantly simplified.

The gameplay of the Chosen Train was very similar to that of the Maze Train.

The same part was that in both the Maze Train and the Chosen Train, passengers had to find a way to safely disembark after passing through 16 carriages.

But the difference was that in the Chosen Train, the passengers started in the same carriage.

Moreover, in the Chosen Train, the players just needed to sit in the carriage. The Chosen Train, from start to end, needed to go through sixteen platforms.

At each platform, the doors would open, providing the players with some new ”options.”

Only upon reaching the platform would the eerie atmosphere in the carriage temporarily disappear.

Players could then move to the next carriage at this time.

In other words, players needed to ”sit” in the carriage, patiently waiting for the station, and with each station, they could move to a new carriage.

It seemed very simple...

But the first carriage, in Ah Miao and the others’ memory, was called the ”Silent Carriage.”

The first carriage was a starting kill. If any sound was made, it would attract the ”Devourer”...

Players had received a prompt in their minds, informing them that the carriage was named Silent Carriage.

And there was a countdown of sixty seconds before departure. Once it started, the rule hunt began.

At the start, everyone had a bell on them. The bell could not be untied but could be transferred to teammates.

In Ah Miao and the others’ memory, Wen Xishu was the first to discover the rule—since there were mandatory sound-producing items on them, this carriage was likely designed to prevent players from moving and making noises.

So, in this carriage, everyone should remain still.

The ideal was very full, but the reality was very disgusting—remaining completely silent was impossible because the train would occasionally ”jolt” on purpose.

Unsurprisingly, everyone encountered the starting kill... The monster appeared, but Wen Xishu first discovered that the bell could be transferred.

He then transferred all the bells to himself, started attracting the monster crazily, and when the monster was fully attracted, he immediately transferred the bell to someone who had distanced themselves.

They began dodging the monster using the bell, and everyone survived the first carriage with some thrills but without any danger.

After reaching the next platform, the bells disappeared, and the door to the next carriage opened.

Wen Xishu and the others arrived at the platform, where they saw a female conductor pushing a small cart, selling various items.

Healing items, damage immunity items, cognitive return items...

And torches, medical kits, markers, parachutes, and the like.

Each player could only purchase one item.

At the same time, the second carriage’s name was forecasted as the ”Maze Carriage.”

So Wen Xishu bought a marker for himself and arranged for Zheng Zai to buy a torch.

The others bought cognitive return items.

With Wen Xishu’s anticipation, the second carriage became much smoother.

The second carriage was like an unmanned version of the Maze Train. Or, it was the ”backroom” constructed from train carriage scenarios.

It was a huge maze. Several times, everyone felt lost. The carriage became extremely wide, and looking around, it was all rows of seats, rows of faceless passengers.

It seemed like every direction could go very far...

And in every direction, there was a door.

With the marker, torch, and cognitive return items, Wen Xishu led the group and quickly found the correct path through the maze.

The group finally reached the correct door before arriving at the platform and found the ”Entrance to Carriage No. 3.”

Next, just like before, Wen Xishu passed through Carriage No. 3, the Troubled Child’s play carriage.

Carriage No. 4 was a resting carriage. Carriage No. 8 was the same.

Carriages 4, 8, and 12 were all resting carriages.
