I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

The Revolutionary Army had actually gone as far as live broadcasting the liberation of a country, and it was even hosted by the White Devil who had killed a Celestial Dragon not long ago. The World Government felt like it had been openly slapped in the face and immediately pressured the Marines, ordering them to rush to Dressrosa and suppress the Revolutionary Army.

Akainu thought for a moment. Since that White Devil who had killed a Celestial Dragon was there as well, an Admiral had to be dispatched. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be suppressing the Revolutionary Army—it would be sending people to their deaths.

Thus, Akainu contacted Nagasawa, who was currently at Punk Hazard. It was close to Dressrosa, allowing him to arrive the fastest.

”Nagasawa, proceed to the Kingdom of Dressrosa immediately. The Revolutionary Army is carrying out a terrorist attack against a member nation,” Akainu ordered.

However, Nagasawa smiled and refused Akainu’s order.

”Fleet Admiral Akainu, I really can’t spare the time here.

”I only just managed to defeat and capture Doflamingo. I have to keep a close eye on him. If he escapes, all my efforts will have been wasted. I don’t have Seastone handcuffs here, and Vice Admiral Tina alone can’t keep watch over him.”

Lying gravely injured on the ground, Doflamingo was speechless. ”Only just managed” referred to slashing him a few times until he couldn’t even move?

”Besides, I’m still figuring out how to deal with the Beasts Pirates, so I have even less time. You should send an Admiral who’s not already on a mission. After all, you’re the one who assigned me this mission in the first place, Fleet Admiral Akainu,” Nagasawa said in a mocking tone.

”You!” Akainu exploded with rage, looking like a volcano about to erupt—quite literally.

How could he not tell that Nagasawa was deliberately provoking him? The worst part was that Nagasawa actually had a valid reason. Doflamingo was no ordinary criminal; his identity was simply too sensitive.

Taking a deep breath, Akainu temporarily suppressed his anger, hung up on Nagasawa without another word, and immediately called Fujitora, ordering him to take three warships and head for the Kingdom of Dressrosa at once.

At the same time, Akainu also arranged for Sengoku and the others, who had nothing pressing to do at Headquarters, to head to Punk Hazard and escort Doflamingo.

Seeing Akainu hang up directly, Nagasawa didn’t care and leisurely put away the Den Den Mushi.

Tina had witnessed the entire conversation.

”Tina doesn’t understand. Why do Admiral Nagasawa and Fleet Admiral Sakazuki get along so poorly? You weren’t even willing to pretend seriously.”

”Different paths can never walk together. Conflict between him and me is inevitable. Perhaps one day, becoming enemies wouldn’t even be impossible,” Nagasawa explained.

”Fufufufufu, how amusing. A conflict between a Marine Admiral and the Fleet Admiral,” Doflamingo laughed arrogantly with his trademark laugh while lying on the ground.

Nagasawa wasn’t about to indulge him. He stepped directly onto Doflamingo’s face.

”No matter what, it’s not your place to speak,” Nagasawa said mercilessly.

Compared to Akainu’s Absolute Justice of ”better to kill the innocent than let the guilty escape,” Doflamingo was simply pure evil.

He trafficked people of every race to provide slaves for the Celestial Dragons, used his Devil Fruit ability to control King Riku and his subordinates into massacring civilians before framing them, and if Nagasawa hadn’t still had some use for him, he would have killed him already.

In Nagasawa’s opinion, someone with sins this grave contributed nothing to the world except making rice more expensive.

Although Akainu wasn’t likable, he genuinely did his job, fighting pirates and maintaining world stability. His actions still had a positive effect.

The problem was that what he protected was the rule of the World Government and the Celestial Dragons, putting him in opposition to Nagasawa, who stood with the Revolutionary Army.

...

After receiving the order, Fujitora immediately set out, leading three warships toward the Kingdom of Dressrosa.

Akainu had described the situation as extremely serious, and because Fujitora cared deeply about the people, he moved swiftly.

However, when Fujitora arrived in Dressrosa, he discovered that reality was nothing like what Akainu had described.

The citizens in the streets were cheering joyfully, with not a trace of fear on their faces. It didn’t look like they had suffered a terrorist attack—it looked more like a festival. Instead, they became wary upon seeing the Marines.

Although Fujitora was blind and couldn’t see the expressions on their faces, his Observation Haki allowed him to sense their goodwill and hostility.

Politely, Fujitora asked, ”Was this place attacked by the Revolutionary Army?”

”Attacked by the Revolutionary Army? They clearly rescued us from Doflamingo!” one former toy exclaimed excitedly.

The person beside him immediately gave him a look and pretended to be confused.

”What Revolutionary Army? Did the Revolutionary Army ever come here? I didn’t see them.”

The man who had just thanked the Revolutionary Army instantly understood and hurriedly corrected himself.

”Right, what Revolutionary Army? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Fujitora fell into silence and deep thought.

In the end, he said nothing and began searching throughout Dressrosa under the watchful gaze of the citizens.

His search proceeded extremely poorly because large groups of civilians just happened to ”pass by” every time, making the search exceptionally difficult.

Unable to endure it any longer, one Marine raised his rifle at the civilians, intending to disperse them, only to be severely reprimanded by Fujitora.

”Have you forgotten why we’re here? We’re here to protect the people, yet you’re pointing a gun at them,” Fujitora said sternly.

”But Admiral Fujitora, if this keeps up, the Revolutionary Army will have escaped long ago. There’s no way we’ll find them. I suspect some of those people are Revolutionary Army members,” the Marine said helplessly.

”Whether there are Revolutionary Army members among them or not, I can see more clearly than you,” Fujitora replied.

Although he was blind, it didn’t prevent him from seeing far more clearly than some people.

The Marine who had been scolded was left speechless.

”You’ve lived up to the justice cloak on your shoulders, Admiral Fujitora.”

Suddenly, Fujitora sensed a powerful stranger appear.

”Lord Tobirama, why did you come out? Hurry and leave! The Marines are here!” The citizens immediately recognized the man who had exposed Dressrosa’s darkness and liberated the kingdom.

”It’s the White Devil!” The Marines were instantly startled and raised their weapons toward Nagasawa.

Meanwhile, the civilians voluntarily gathered around Nagasawa, intending to protect him.

The people repeatedly urged Nagasawa to retreat, but he shook his head and asked them to disperse to avoid being caught in the Marines’ attacks.

Whether due to an accidental discharge or something else, one Marine unexpectedly pulled the trigger, sending a bullet flying toward the civilians.

Nagasawa swiftly formed hand seals and used Water Release: Water Encampment Wall to block the bullet before gently using flowing water to move the civilians away.

”Everyone, go back to your homes and stay there. This Marine is a good person. He won’t harm innocent civilians.”

Nagasawa’s words worked. The civilians eventually left, allowing Fujitora to stop restraining his power.

Fujitora smiled bitterly.

What kind of situation was this? The Marines were feared by the civilians, a wanted criminal was protecting them, and that same wanted criminal was praising a Marine as a good person.

Even now, Fujitora hadn’t sensed even the slightest malice from this so-called White Devil—only kindness.

”White Devil... What is your name?” Fujitora asked.

”Senju Tobirama, a man dedicated to liberating all the oppressed people of the world,” Nagasawa replied with a smile.

Fujitora silently engraved the name into his memory. Today’s events had shaken him greatly.

”So, shall we fight? Otherwise, it won’t be easy for you to explain things on your end,” Nagasawa said thoughtfully.

Even at a time like this, he was still thinking of him.

Fujitora was completely convinced.

Since Nagasawa had already gone this far, Fujitora no longer hesitated and drew his cane sword.

Fujitora manipulated countless objects to crash toward Nagasawa, yet they failed to break through Nagasawa’s Water Release.

Likewise, Nagasawa’s Water Release looked incredibly spectacular, yet it didn’t even wet Fujitora’s clothes.

Although they had never discussed it beforehand and this was supposedly their first meeting (at least in Fujitora’s eyes), the two displayed remarkable coordination, both holding back enormously. The visual effects were overwhelming, while the actual damage was zero.

However, to the Marines Fujitora had brought, the battle looked incredibly fierce. Explosions rang out continuously. One moment there were towering tsunamis, the next meteors falling from the sky. It was obviously a battle between top-tier powerhouses.

In the end, just as suddenly as he had appeared, Nagasawa vanished before Fujitora and the others, leaving behind only a single sentence.

”If you have time, learn more about the Revolutionary Army.”

In truth, most of the Revolutionary Army had already withdrawn before Nagasawa arrived.

This operation had been carefully planned from the beginning, naturally including a retreat strategy. Their preparations had been thorough.

Occupying Dressrosa permanently was unrealistic unless the Revolutionary Army openly declared war on the World Government.

The primary purpose of this operation was to spread the Revolutionary Army’s ideals, expose the darkness of the Seven Warlords to the world, let everyone see what the so-called Marine alliance really was, recruit new revolutionary forces, and plant the seeds of revolution throughout Dressrosa.

The reason Nagasawa waited until Fujitora arrived before leaving was also to lay the groundwork for Fujitora eventually joining the Revolutionary Army.

Watching Nagasawa disappear, Fujitora stood motionless for a full minute before slowly sheathing his sword and issuing an order to his subordinates.

”Have the medical unit land on the island and treat the civilians injured during this incident.”

It was the only thing Fujitora could do—provide treatment for the civilians hurt during the incident.

”But we...” a Marine began, only to be interrupted.

”There are no terrorists carrying out terrorist attacks here. Have the medical unit land immediately,” Fujitora repeated.

His subordinates had no choice but to obey and summon the medical team.

Gripping his cane sword, Fujitora gazed toward the endless sea.

It was the first time he had become so curious about someone he had only met once.

He wondered what Nagasawa had done here, why the civilians had voluntarily protected him, what he had meant by his final words, and even what Nagasawa looked like.

For the first time, Fujitora felt a hint of regret. No matter how convenient Observation Haki was, it could never reveal a person’s true appearance.

He wondered what kind of person could achieve something like this.

Even while fighting him, Nagasawa had harbored no malice whatsoever—only goodwill.

Later, Fujitora changed out of his Marine uniform and entered Dressrosa dressed as an ordinary man, intending to learn what had truly happened there.

...

”Hahaha! Nagasawa, you’ve quietly accomplished something incredible,” Garp laughed heartily as he patted Nagasawa on the shoulder.

Originally, only Sengoku and Tsuru had come. But after hearing that Nagasawa had obtained evidence of Doflamingo’s crimes and had already arrested him, Garp came along to join the excitement.

”We’ll escort Doflamingo to Impel Down. Nagasawa, hurry and reinforce Issho. That White Devil isn’t easy to deal with. Issho alone might not be able to capture him,” Sengoku said.

Nagasawa smiled.

”I don’t think I need to. The Revolutionary Army isn’t stupid. This was obviously a premeditated operation. By the time I get there, they’ll all be long gone.”

After speaking, Nagasawa immediately contacted Fujitora through a Den Den Mushi and asked whether he needed reinforcements.

Fujitora informed him of the situation and said reinforcements weren’t necessary.

Nagasawa shrugged.

”See? Just like that.”

”It seems Sakazuki is going to have another difficult time. This is no small matter,” Sengoku silently observed a moment of silence for Akainu.

”In that case, let’s escort Doflamingo to Impel Down together.”

Nagasawa nodded. After wandering around for so long, it was about time to return to the Marines. Besides, Impel Down also had some excellent Devil Fruits, such as Magellan’s Poison-Poison Fruit, which was an exceptionally powerful one.

Of course, while the fruit was powerful, it was also troublesome. Nagasawa would see how things went. If he could obtain it, great. If not, then so be it.

Then Nagasawa boarded Sengoku’s ship and headed toward Impel Down with the others.

Although it was technically an escort mission, everyone looked rather relaxed.

Not to mention Doflamingo being restrained with Seastone handcuffs—with the strength aboard this escort warship, even if Kaido came, he’d have to turn around.

There was Marine Hero Garp, former Fleet Admiral Sengoku, the current Admiral Nagasawa, and Tsuru, who was by no means an easy opponent either.

However, reality proved that there really were stubborn fools.

After hearing Doflamingo had been captured, Jack immediately led his men to rescue him.

No one knew whether they had been drinking fake liquor or whether it was simply because it was nighttime and their eyesight was poor, but Jack actually charged directly at the warship.

Nagasawa was dumbfounded.

He had to admit it.

When it came to the title of King of Ramming Ships, Jack the Drought truly deserved it. Nobody else even came close.

Since Jack was so stubborn, Nagasawa didn’t mind capturing him as well and collecting another Devil Fruit in the process.

Jack’s Devil Fruit was also one of the rarer ones—the Ancient Zoan Elephant-Elephant Fruit, Model: Mammoth.

Among Zoan Devil Fruits, the rarest were Mythical Zoans, followed by Ancient Zoans.

Dressrosa had been liberated, Doflamingo had lost his status as one of the Seven Warlords and been arrested, the White Devil who had killed a Celestial Dragon was revealed to be a member of the Revolutionary Army, and Jack the Drought, one of the Three Calamities, had ended up getting himself captured while trying to rescue Doflamingo.

Major news followed one after another over the past few days, and every force in the world could feel the dramatic changes sweeping across the global situation.

Something big was coming.
