I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Yo, Kakashi, let’s have a hearty battle in this world filled with yellow sand.” Might Guy suddenly issued a battle invitation to Kakashi.

Kakashi looked at the sky. He did not know whether it was because of the desert, but Kakashi always felt that the sun on Sunagakure Village’s side was especially big. No wonder so many people wore headscarves.

The scorching sun made Kakashi have no desire to have a hot-blooded and passionate battle with Guy, because that would only make him sweat all over.

Now that his daughter was almost three years old, Kakashi no longer had the hot blood he once had. If it were somewhere cooler, he might agree.

Fortunately, Kakashi understood Guy very well and knew how to say a reason Guy could not refuse.

”Guy, the commotion from our battle would be too big. You must know that we are on a mission, and we are also in another ninja village.” Kakashi said with a serious face.

If he said it like this, then Kakashi’s side had righteousness, standing on the mission and the village.

Although this mission was already in a state where there was nothing to do, it was still a mission after all, and even the highest-level S-rank mission.

As expected, although Guy’s hands were very itchy, he only scratched his head and gave up.

”As expected of my close friend, you even consider things so thoroughly.” Might Guy grinned, revealing his iconic two rows of shining white teeth, and raised his thumb.

Kakashi smiled faintly. After staying under Nagasawa for so many years, plus his understanding of Guy, was this not easy to handle?

After rejecting Guy’s battle invitation, Kakashi once again wandered aimlessly around Sunagakure Village with Guy like a headless fly.

Because there really was something to do. There was too little information that could lock onto a candidate, and the other party also had not left anything that could be investigated by them.

They could only wander around Sunagakure all day and see whether they could make some new discovery, or if the attacker came again, it would also be convenient to take action.

As for why Inuzuka Midori was not with them, it was unknown whether Nagasawa was worried that Inuzuka Midori would cause trouble in Sunagakure, but Inuzuka Midori had been ordered by Nagasawa to protect Tsunade at all times, instead of freely moving around inside Sunagakure like Kakashi and the others.

”The weather today is not bad. Let’s go out for a walk.” Chiyo suddenly became interested and did not go fishing with her younger brother as usual. Instead, she prepared to stroll around Sunagakure Village.

Chiyo leisurely walked along Sunagakure’s streets. On her face was the kindly smile of an ordinary old person. At this moment, she seemed not to be a Sunagakure higher-up who held great power, a strong person who had once dominated the battlefield in war, but an ordinary old person.

Although Chiyo had already seen the surrounding scenery countless times, she was now among the oldest group of elders in Sunagakure. Regardless of civilians, among ninja, this was the case.

But now, when Chiyo carefully observed it again, she still felt very emotional.

”If not for the matter of the Kazekage being attacked, I suppose the entire ninja world would now be in a peaceful state.” Chiyo murmured.

Chiyo was born before the era of ninja villages came. However, during her childhood, she did not feel too much of the aura of war, because not long afterward, the ninja village era arrived. It was a brand-new era.

Afterward, Konoha’s First Hokage Senju Hashirama summoned the Four Kage and held the Five Kage Summit. The five great ninja villages signed treaties, and the entire ninja world suddenly became peaceful. That was the childhood in Chiyo’s memory.

But the time of peace was only that much. When she became a young female ninja with some strength, Senju Hashirama died, and the ninja world suddenly broke out into a battle that swept through the entire ninja world.

From then on, Chiyo had never experienced any peaceful days. Even if there were, they were short-lived peace where full-scale war had not broken out.

She perfectly experienced three Shinobi World Wars. War was the main melody in Chiyo’s memory. Peace only existed in the beautiful memories of breathing after war.

Being in troubled times for a long time, hatred toward other countries and anxiety toward her own country took deep root in Chiyo’s heart. She was also the executor who sealed the One-Tail into Gaara’s body.

Because she feared that when war came again, Sunagakure would have no Jinchuriki to oppose the Jinchuriki of other ninja villages.

In war, Chiyo experienced much pain. Her teammates, and even her own children, lost their lives in war.

In the Second Shinobi World War, her son and daughter-in-law were both killed by Konoha’s White Fang. This made Chiyo extremely grief-stricken.

There was nothing more painful than a white-haired person sending off black-haired people. Chiyo wished she could have died in their place. That way, her grandson Sasori would not have lost both parents at such a young age.

So after Sasori defected later, Chiyo directly stopped asking about political affairs and became an invisible person in Sunagakure, spending every day fishing with her younger brother Ebizo for fun and becoming a fishing addict.

In Nagasawa’s words, she had started slacking off.

However, considering Chiyo’s age, no one dared to criticize her. After all, she had worked hard for Sunagakure her whole life. Were they still not going to let her retire?

After experiencing a lifetime of war, she instead welcomed peace at this age. Chiyo’s mood was complicated.

What did this count as? Having a beginning and an end? Peace when she was a child, and then another wave of peace after she was old.

If it could have come a little earlier, perhaps her children would not have died, and her grandson would not have defected.

Unfortunately, there were no ifs in this world.

’How long can this peace last this time?’ Chiyo had an inexplicable thought in her heart.

But just as Chiyo was casually strolling, she suddenly saw a figure that was somewhat familiar yet somewhat unfamiliar.

A Konoha ninja’s attire, white hair, that figure...

Chiyo immediately could not hold back. She casually reached and pulled out a kunai from who knew where. Then Chakra threads appeared on her fingers, and she controlled the kunai with the Chakra threads to attack Kakashi.

Kakashi’s Observation Haki sensed a burst of faint killing intent suddenly erupt behind him. He quickly turned around, pitch-black Armament Haki covering his arm, and easily knocked the kunai away, resolving the crisis.

”Mm? An enemy!” Guy also keenly sensed the killing intent and helped Kakashi knock away some kunai, then his Chakra erupted, ready to open the Eight Gates at any time.

But after seeing clearly who the attacker was, Kakashi frowned tightly. Chiyo was a higher-up of Sunagakure, and also one of the great enemies Konoha had once been very wary of. If Tsunade had not been able to crack Chiyo’s poison, it would not have been easy for Konoha to defeat Suna, so Kakashi naturally knew Chiyo.

It was precisely because he recognized Chiyo that Kakashi frowned. This was a request for aid that Sunagakure had actively issued. Now that Chiyo had attacked them, what did this mean? Did they want to start a war?

Kakashi reached out and stopped Guy, who was preparing to rush out. He did not directly make a move, but spoke and questioned, ”Senior Chiyo, what do you mean by this? I hope to receive a reasonable explanation.”

Actually, after Kakashi turned around and Chiyo clearly saw Kakashi’s appearance, the killing intent on her body instantly weakened, and she no longer had the desire to continue attacking.

He did not look like White Fang, but more like White Fang’s son.

Chiyo did not reply to Kakashi’s words. Instead, her eyes suddenly lost their highlight, and then she fell straight to the ground, looking as if she had died violently.

A tic-tac-toe vein fiercely squeezed out on Kakashi’s forehead.

He was really somewhat confused and annoyed. He had suddenly been attacked, and then before their side had even acted, the attacker suddenly lay in place as if she had died violently.

What was this? A new type of scam? Kakashi was somewhat unable to understand.

If Sunagakure then struck first and said they bullied their own elderly elder, then Kakashi would really explode.

”Kakashi, w-what is going on?” Kakashi was already confused, and Guy was even more needless to say. He was even more unable to figure out what had happened.

He was just worried that there was no battle and had already prepared to open the Eight Gates and have a satisfying battle with this attacker, but the other party suddenly fell down.

Perhaps because of Chiyo’s elderly appearance, Guy worriedly walked forward and carefully turned Chiyo over to face upward, then placed his finger in front of Chiyo’s nose.

But at this moment, Chiyo suddenly opened her eyes and then quickly got up, frightening Might Guy into jumping backward and pulling away from Chiyo, then quickly taking a battle stance.

”I was joking. I was playing dead.” Chiyo said with a mischievous face.

Kakashi, Might Guy: ...

Guy was also left speechless by Chiyo’s strange operation.

Although he felt that this playing dead was extremely ridiculous, Kakashi had not forgotten that Chiyo had inexplicably attacked them just now.

”Senior Chiyo, you still have not explained why you attacked us just now. If there is no reasonable explanation, I will treat this as an attack.” Kakashi said again.

They had come to help Sunagakure, yet inside Sunagakure Village, they had inexplicably been attacked by a Sunagakure higher-up. It would be strange if Kakashi was in a good mood.

”Haha, this old woman’s eyes are old and blurry, and I mistook you for someone else. I thought you were a certain enemy of mine.” Chiyo still said with a mischievous face, even tilting her head.

Kakashi did not know whether what Chiyo said was true or false. However, because Chiyo had only thrown some kunai, Kakashi did not want to care too much.

”Then please don’t mistake me again next time, Senior Chiyo.” After Kakashi finished saying this, he took Might Guy back. He had to report this matter to Nagasawa.

It was not that Kakashi was a child who ran to complain to his parent after being hit. If they really fought, Chiyo, at this age, might not be able to beat him. And Guy was also beside him.

Rather, Kakashi also did not know whether Chiyo’s words were true or false. In case this was a change in Sunagakure’s attitude, would they not be somewhat unsafe while inside Sunagakure Village?

Although Sunagakure would have to lose their minds to make a move against them at this time, one could not gamble their own safety on whether the enemy would lose their minds.

”Sigh.” Chiyo sighed. The mischievous smile on her face disappeared, replaced by an icy expression. At this moment, she no longer had the mood to stroll, directly turning around and going home.

Although Kakashi was not White Fang himself, but White Fang’s son, did Chiyo truly have no killing intent toward Kakashi?

White Fang killed her children. She was not some saint. How could she possibly have not even the slightest thought toward White Fang’s child?

But the era was different. Now the ninja world was peaceful, and it had recovered to the appearance of the Senju Hashirama era, or even better.

If she forcefully made a move, it would only once again trigger war, dragging Sunagakure back into the quagmire of war, and even the situation of the entire ninja world would change greatly again.

This was a situation Chiyo did not want to see. She had fought wars her entire life and no longer wanted to participate in any war, much less personally ignite a war.

Chiyo was glad that it was not the real White Fang. That allowed her to still maintain her rationality. If it had truly been White Fang standing there just now, Chiyo did not know whether she could suppress the hatred in her heart.

”Forget it. Let the hatred end here...”

...

Since that time he coincidentally encountered Gaara, Nagasawa often used his powerful sensory ability to coincidentally encounter Gaara.

At first, Yashamaru still wanted to say something, but afterward he thought about how they still had to stay in Konoha for quite some time, and perhaps letting Gaara become familiar with Nagasawa was not a bad thing.

”After being caught by their fathers that time, Hashirama and Madara did not meet in private for a very long time.” Nagasawa was telling Gaara a story.

If Naruto were here, he should call it professional, because Nagasawa had once told him the same story like this.

”So pitiful...” While Gaara was angry at the actions of both fathers, he also felt pity for Hashirama and Madara’s experiences.

Why did two people who got along so well have to stand on opposite sides and fight?

Nagasawa smiled and rubbed Gaara’s hair.

To gain the favor of a lonely child like Gaara, who longed for friends, there was no better story than the love-and-kill tale of those two good friends, Hashirama and Madara.

Gaara longed for friends and longed for friendship, and the friendship between Madara and Hashirama was exactly what Gaara yearned for most.

”They will change this situation later.” Nagasawa slightly spoiled what would happen later.

”If only I could also have a friend like Hashirama.” Gaara’s large eyes revealed yearning.

Although Nagasawa’s actions that day prevented the children from running the moment they saw him, making friends was still a difficult thing for Gaara. At least, there was no way to do it in a short time.

This was a real world. It was not as if deleting the rumors would instantly make everyone treat Gaara as a normal child. That needed time.

”Don’t worry, you will. Our Konoha has many children the same age as you. They are all very enthusiastic. There, you will definitely make friends.” Nagasawa said.

Putting the rest aside for now, with Naruto, that person with social badass syndrome, around, it would be fine even if Gaara was introverted. In any case, Naruto would take the initiative.

”Will they not be afraid of me? There is a monster living inside my body.” Gaara said somewhat unconfidently.

Since Gaara could be affected by Shukaku’s Chakra, he naturally would not know nothing about Shukaku. It was precisely because of this that he did not dare to take the initiative to approach others.

At certain times, Gaara even felt that those rumors were not wrong. Perhaps he really was a monster.

”It is just a little tanuki living inside your body. What is there to be afraid of?” Nagasawa smiled carelessly.

”In Konoha, there is a child the same age as you. Inside his body lives a big fox, but he has many friends in Konoha.”

”Really? What is his name?” Gaara was immediately attracted by Nagasawa and became very curious.

”His name is Namikaze Naruto. When you go to Konoha, I will take you to meet him.” Nagasawa smiled.

Gaara nodded. His heart could not help but begin to yearn for Konoha a little, wanting to go meet this Namikaze Naruto.
