I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Let’s see if we have any luck with the eleventh experiment subject. However, I suggest that you prepare to publicly select the experiment subject as soon as possible, ”Orochimaru said.

He had already studied Hashirama’s cells quite a bit, and he discovered Secondary Hashirama cells after a long experiment with Hashirama’s cells.

After a few months, he had already thoroughly studied the Secondary Hashirama cells.

They couldn’t just solve the problem with experiments alone.

They only had one pair of Sharingan in their hands, which limited the number of the experiment they could do at the same time.

Orochimaru’s goal was to transplant Hashirama’s cells, not inferior products like Secondary Hashirama cells, so he did not care who they used as experiment subjects.

”We can’t make it public yet with the current result. At most, we can make a secret selection.” Nagasawa said as he shook his head.

The problem was not Hashirama’s cells. It was just a deceased person’s cell, after all. Besides, the Hashirama Cells experiment used to be made public.

The problem was that the only way to obtain Sharingan was from Uchiha Clan.

And now, the relationship between the village and Uchiha Clan was quite complicated.

If a pair of Sharingan appeared out of nowhere and was used for experiments, perhaps some Uchiha extremists would use it as a chance to stage a coup d’etat.

At that time, everything that Nagasawa had done before would amount to nothing.

The conflict between Uchiha and the village would get worse.

Kakashi’s Sharingan was an exception, as it was a gift from a hero who died in the war. Besides, without both Sharingan, it wouldn’t be able to exert its true power

However, if a pair of Sharingan was magically found in their laboratory, it would enrage Uchiha Clan for sure.

How could Uchiha Clan stand idly when they knew someone had murdered their clan member and taken their Sharingan? They were an aggressive clan to begin with. There was no way they would just accept it.

”I’ll leave it to you, Nagasawa-san. I don’t care about those stuff. After the experiment on experiment subject No. 11 is over, I will stop the Secondary Hashirama cells experiment and resume the Hashirama cells experiment again.” Orochimaru said lightly as he looked at experiment subject No. 11.

Nagasawa nodded. Ever since working with Orochimaru, Orochimaru had not cared about anything except the experiment, which he didn’t mind.

It was not that using Sharingan was out of the question, but he could not use it at the current stage. When the relationship between the village and Uchiha Clan became normal again, he would use it to show that its origin was not a problem.

However, Danzo Shimura’s sentence might increase in exchange.

In a remote river

”Kabuto, do you know the meaning of life and living?” Asked Itachi, who was sitting by the river.

”Huh?” Kabuto did not expect Itachi to ask such a strange question out of the blue.

”The meaning of life...” After thinking for a while, he found that this question was really strange, but because the one who asked him was Itachi, he thought about the answer carefully for a while.

”Nagasawa-niisan once told me not to live for him, nor for the dean. He told me to live for myself. I think the meaning of life should be how you choose how the way you live. As for the meaning of living, I can’t really think of an answer. At the moment, I want to make money for the orphanage’s renovation, earn money for Mother and also for Nagasawa-niisan...”

”Wait, are you saying you live to make money?” Itachi widened his eyes and looked at Kabuto in disbelief.

Itachi thought they had agreed to get rid of the war together and attain peace.

After thinking about it, Kabuto realized that Itachi had a point, but he shook his head and said,

”Of course not. Money is just a necessity for achieving my goal. What is more important to me is the goals that I need to spend money on.”

”But, Itachi, why did you suddenly ask this question?” Kabuto asked curiously.

”A few days ago, my younger brother, Sasuke, was born.” Said Itachi.

”I can feel how frail he is. He is so frail that I feel like I can kill him with a punch.”

Kabuto: ...

Kabuto was baffled at first, but then again, this was Itachi they were talking about.

However, this also reminds me of the fact that I used to be that frail, too. However, I can grow up thanks to my father’s protection.

”Therefore, I think that the meaning of life is also to protect the frail new life, to protect the weak.”

”That sounds like you, Itachi.” Kabuto smiled.

Out of all the peers he knew, Itachi was the weirdest one.

His thoughts were always so unique, such as how to get rid of the war and the meaning of life.

After being friends with Itachi for a long time, he could not help but think about those things, too, sometimes.

Last time, it was when he saw Ryota was bullied.

”Itachi... You will definitely become a great Shinobi in the future.” Kabuto said sincerely.

”Huh?” Itachi looked at Kabuto confusedly. He did not understand why Kabuto would suddenly say that.

”You see, you are different from an average five-year-old kid. You always think about things that don’t even cross adults’ minds.

”You are so special, so blindingly light. That’s why you will definitely become a great Shinobi.” Kabuto said seriously.

After being praised by Kabuto, Itachi was also a little shy. His cheeks turned a little red, but he pretended to be calm.

”Kabuto, you are also very powerful. You have already caught up with me in such a short time. You will definitely be as remarkable as your Nagasawa-niisan in the future.”

At this time, Izumi, who came there to find Itachi, happened to see this scene. She was so surprised that the paper bag filled with Dango in her hand also fell down.

???

What’s wrong with you, Itachi? Why aren’t you as excited when you chat with me?

Was it normal for two boys to praise each other like this?

Why are you so good at talking with Itachi? Teach me, Kabuto!

At this time, Izumi wished Kabuto would take her as his apprentice and teach her ”One Hundred Ways to get along with Itachi Uchiha.”

When he heard something fall to the ground, Itachi looked toward the source of the sound. When he saw that it was Izumi Uchiha, his expression instantly became indifferent.

”It’s Izumi!” Kabuto waved at Izumi.

Izumi often came to look for Itachi, so Kabuto also got to know her at some point.

”Kabuto-kun.” Izumi quickly picked up the paper bag and walked toward Itachi and sat down.

Izumi sounded respectful, but for some reason, Kabuto felt that Izumi was a little displeased toward him.

’Did I do something wrong?’ Kabuto wondered.
