I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Haha, blind trust in your subordinates is not something a qualified Anbu Commander should have,” Danzo said condescendingly.

”Isn’t it too early for you to say that, Elder Danzo? Have you forgotten what happened last time?” Nagasawa was not afraid to mock Danzo back.

”Hmph.” Danzo snorted coldly and did not say anything else.

Danzo had always been a person who said too much.

He would definitely try to humiliate Minato and Nagasawa if he got any chance.

Seeing that Danzo was silent, Nagasawa was too lazy to argue with him. The result would prove everything.

Everyone was watching the screen attentively.

The Third Hokage Anbu checked the outer area thoroughly, making sure that there was no Fourth Hokage’s Anbu in the vicinity.

Then, they began their attack.

They divided themselves into two groups to draw attention.

Third and Anbu were not in a hurry to grab the scroll. Instead, they constantly attacked, wearing down the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu.

As time passed, it could be seen from the monitor that the Fourth Hokage Anbu’s movements began to slow down.

As the defender, they had to put in even more effort.

Moreover, the Third Hokage’s Anbu was really sadistic. They would attack them and then leave. They would come back after a few minutes, not giving the Fourth Hokage Anbu any chance to breathe.

Minato’s expression became a little serious because he could clearly see that the Third Hokage’s Anbu was more likely to win.

”Don’t panic, trust them!” Nagasawa said in a low voice.

Nagasawa was just guessing at the beginning, but he was now certain that Kakashi and the others were definitely up to something.

This was because Ensui had never used the Shadow Imitation Technique in the footage. He merely threw Shuriken.

There were several times when Ensui could use Shadow Imitation Technique to immobilize the enemy, but he didn’t.

There was no doubt that Ensui deliberately decided not to use his Shadow Imitation Technique. He might be waiting for the right opportunity.

The Third Hokage’s Anbu surely didn’t know about Ensui. After all, Nagasawa had always received missions directly from Minato, and he had never done missions with other Squads and Divisions.

In addition, in the first round, Ensui did not use the Shadow Imitation, so Third Hokage’s Anbu definitely did not know that there was a Nara Clan among the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu.

After two hours, the Third Hokage’s Anbu felt that it was about time. All of them suddenly attacked the Fourth Hokage Anbu and caught them off guard.

On the monitor, the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu seemed to be pushed back, and the Third Hokage’s Anbu got closer to where the secret scroll was placed.

Bang!

Some of the Third Hokage’s Anbu quickly threw a smoke grenade and then sprinted toward the secret scroll.

It was over. This was what most people in the surveillance room were thinking.

”It seems that the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu still has a lot to learn. After all is said and done, the village does need Root,” Danzo used this opportunity to rebuild his Root.

”Root made a mistake, and they were dissolved. End of the line.” Third said sternly.

Why did it feel like his old classmate had become more and more annoying ever since he gave up his seat to Minato?

”Sarutobi, you little...!” Danzo didn’t seem too happy.

Those two brats might not know his contribution to Konoha, but Sarutobi Hiruzen at least knew how much he had done for Konoha.

”It seems that the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu won again.” Nagasawa said lightly.

”Huh?” Third and Danzo both had puzzled expressions.

Wasn’t the Fourth Hokage Anbu’s secret scroll about to be stolen just now? How did they win?

The footage was rewinded.

After the Third Hokage’s Anbu got the secret scroll, they quickly retreated. The moment the Shinobi that held the secret scroll almost stepped out of the base, a black shadow restrained him.

It was Ensui with his Shadow Imitation Technique! He then made a throwing motion. As a result, the Shinobi that held the scroll threw the scroll, which Kakashi caught with his advanced Soru.

All of this happened too suddenly. Let alone the Third Hokage’s Anbu, some of the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu could not even react.

They won just like that?

The surveillance room was silent for a while. Finally, the Third Hokage was the first to break the awkward silence. He smiled and said, ”I was wrong. Just as Nagasawa said, the Fourth’s Anbu has their own special tactics.”

”Hmph, they’re just using the loophole on the rules.” Danzo still insulted the Fourth Hokage’s Anbu. After being proven wrong twice, he lost his dignity. Before Nagasawa had a chance to mock him, he immediately walked out of the monitoring room.

” I am relieved seeing that your Anbu has grown so much.” The Third Hokage laughed.

Minato smiled gently and said modestly, ”We won by luck. My Anbu certainly still has a lot to learn from your Anbu.”

Seeing that Third had said so, Nagasawa guessed that this matter had been settled, and with this, Minato should have more authority as the Third Hokage Promised.

Nagasawa was in a good mood as he visited the resting Fourth Hokage’s Anbu rested.

”You did well this time. Was the second round a plan by chance or by chance?”

”Of course, it’s a plan.” Midori Inuzuka answered first.

”Did Ensui or Kakashi come up with it?” Nagasawa continued to ask.

Midori Inuzuka was mad at Nagasawa’s words. She put her hands on her waist and said, ”Why don’t you think it’s my idea?”

Nagasawa glanced at Midori Inuzuka and asked, ”Is it your idea?”

”Well, half of it,” Midori Inuzuka said proudly.

”Huh?”

”I was the one who suggested focussing the defense on the base.”

”Well, it does sound like your idea.” Nagasawa’s face returned to normal.

Nagasawa clearly did not scold her, but Midori Inuzuka felt as if she was being made fun of.

”It’s Ensui’s idea,” Kakashi said as he couldn’t watch it any longer.

Nagasawa patted Ensui on the shoulder and smiled. ”Ensui, you did a good job. This victory is possible because of you.”

”That’s my job,” Ensui said calmly.

It was his job to come up with a plan to outwit the Third Hokage’s Anbu.

”Everyone did well this time. After the last part of the joint training is over, you may rest for three days. Of course, you don’t have to train.” Nagasawa did not forget the other Anbu members and said with a smile.

Their eyes immediately lit up, and they immediately felt that their somewhat weak bodies became energetic again.

This training team was good, but the training was too strict.
