I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Looking at Minato with a troubled expression, Nagasawa punched his chest lightly and laughed,

”What are you thinking about? I won’t let you retire so easily. At least you have to work for Konoha for another 30 years.”

”30 years? That is way too long. Hokage’s work is so tiring, you know.” Minato also returned to his usual warm smile.

He was never a person who would worry about the future, but when he heard that a problem would occur when Kushina gave birth, he was worried about Kushina.

”Tired? There are many people who worked really hard for the village. For example, our Elder Danzo.” Nagasawa joked sarcastically.

Hearing Nagasawa’s sarcastic joke, Minato could not help but laugh.

Later, Nagasawa talked to Minato about the training team, and then Nagasawa left the building and returned to Anbu Base.

After Nagasawa left, Minato stood up in front of the huge window.

The Hokage building was very high, and he could see the entire Konoha from there.

Minato admired the peaceful scenery of Konoha through the window.

Because Konoha wasn’t at war recently, it did not seem like it had just fought in the Shinobi World War, and the village was thriving.

”Nine-Tailed... I will never let you destroy this beautiful scene.”

The sun shone through the window, illuminating Minato, who was wearing his Hokage mantle. It was as if Minato was a small sun emitting a golden radiance.

.....................

In a secret laboratory under Konoha, Orochimaru frowned as he looked at the dead experimental subjects.

”Damn it, why these Shinobi can’t even withstand the corrosion of Hashirama’s cells?” Since he encountered another failure, Orochimaru couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed.

Since the last time he made a request to Danzo, in addition to civilians, Danzo also sent a group of disabled Shinobi.

Although they were all disabled Shinobi, Orochimaru did not care. Broken hands and feet were trivial matters as long as they were Shinobi.

But he did not expect that Shinobi seemed to be no different from ordinary people in front of Hashirama’s cells, it would just take them a little longer to die.

”Is it really a matter of strength?” Orochimaru thought.

Although he had this idea, he couldn’t put it into practice.

Although it was difficult for Danzo to get Shinobi, he could still do it. There were also many Rogue Shinobi in the Shinobi World.

But asking Danzo to send several Jonin might be too much.

Jonin was a high-level force in the village, and if one of them suddenly disappeared, an investigation would be carried out, let alone several of them.

Orochimaru had no idea of defecting at this moment. He lived comfortably in Konoha. He could get the village’s financial aid. In addition, he also had Danzo’s support.

In addition, Konoha had an abundant Forbidden Techniques, which made it even harder for Orochimaru to leave Konoha.

In fact, Orochimaru did produce some results. He was researching how to implant Hashirama’s cells into a human body and accidentally discovered that he could also implant it into a human limb.

However, the strength of a single limb was not enough, and there was also a risk of backlash. In Orochimaru’s opinion, it was a failure.

In his opinion, it was better to directly implant Hashirama’s cells into the human body.

After the experimental subject perfectly adapted to Hashirama’s cells, their vitality would greatly increase. Even if they did not have talent in molding Chakra before, they would instantly become a genius among Shinobi.

Even if there was only one successful case, his experiment would take a big leap. There was hope to mass produce Shinobi that could use Wood Release, and at the same time, it would greatly increase his vitality.

It was a pity as he had taken the wrong path. After so long, there was not even a single successful case.

After writing down the experiment data, Orochimaru walked out of the secret laboratory and arrived on the big street of Konoha.

Even he would still feel depressed after failing for so long.

At this time, the sun was already high up in the sky.

However, Orochimaru seemed like a walking air conditioner. The people who passed by him shivered and quickly pulled away.

Only Shinobi would stop and respectfully call him Orochimaru-sama.

Before Minato was announced as the Fourth Hokage, many people thought that it’d be either Orochimaru or Jiraiya that would become Hokage.

No one expected that it was Jiraiya’s disciple, Minato, who would become the Hokage.

Orochimaru, who was walking around randomly, finally found himself near the Hokage building. Just as he was about to go back for an experiment, a presence caught his attention.

Orochimaru’s perception was very sharp, especially those who could threaten him.

Orochimaru looked at the handsome Shinobi with interest.

He could feel that the person in front of him was quite skilled, but what was amazing was that Orochimaru did not know him.

Logically speaking, there should be no strong person in Konoha that he did not know, but he seemed to overlook this one.

”Who are you?” Orochimaru asked in a hoarse voice.

Nagasawa looked at Orochimaru, who had a cold aura around him, and indifferently replied: ”I am Fujiwara Nagasawa. What can I do for you, Orochimaru-sama?”

He did not expect to meet Orochimaru when he had just left the building.

For some reason, Orochimaru seemed to be interested in him and actually asked for his name.

”Fujiwara Nagasawa...” Orochimaru showed a thoughtful expression.

He thought that he had heard this name somewhere, but he struggled to recall his memory.

Orochimaru soon remembered where he had heard the name Fujiwara Nagasawa. It was from Danzo.

On the day of Root’s disbandment, the person Danzo hated the most was Minato and Fujiwara Nagasawa was right after.

”He’s just a new Jonin. What right does he have to berate me!”

Orochimaru recalled Danzo’s words.

”So he’s a new Jonin? No wonder I don’t know him, but that feeling just now...’ Orochimaru thought to himself.

Nagasawa suddenly no longer felt the impending danger he had felt earlier.

”It’s nothing. I just think you might have something in common with me.” Orochimaru began to ramble.

”I think so, too. I heard that Orochimaru sama likes to do experiments. In fact, I’m also very interested in them.” Nagasawa decided to play along.

Orochimaru’s eyes lit up, and he said, ”My laboratory is quite big, to be frank. Fujiwara Nagasawa, do you want to come and visit?”

”Thank you for your kindness, Orochimaru-sama. Although I also want to go, I have an urgent matter to attend to now. I will definitely come next time.” Nagasawa said with a smile.

”That’s a pity.” Orochimaru shook his head regretfully, preparing to go back to investigate Nagasawa.

He believed that his intuition couldn’t be wrong.
