I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Nagasawa did not act immediately. Instead, he followed the Morishita guy first and observed him.

Nagasawa was not from Yamanaka Clan, so he did not have the ability to directly obtain memories from the target.

In order to not be easily discovered, Nagasawa had to observe some of his target’s habits, whether they were cold or gentle to people, their temper, etc.

Morishita Kizuki avoided the crowd throughout the way and returned to his home in a low profile. He changed into a normal Kusagakure Shinobi outfit before walking out of the door.

Anbu was a special organization. They wouldn’t appear in front of others if it weren’t for an important mission. That was why he changed into the normal Shinobi outfit when he returned home.

”Morishita-sama.”

”Yes.”

Morishita remained expressionless even when the Kusagakure Shinobi greeted him.

He was one of the few Jonins in the village, and he was one of the most powerful Shinobi there, so he was already used to that kind of treatment.

”I heard that Iwagakure and Konohagakure have signed a peace treaty. We should be able to enjoy peace for a while.” Some people on the street were discussing the news that quickly spread through the Shinobi World.

Kusagakure was located between Iwagakure and Konoha. If the two countries fought, Kusagakure would become a battlefield.

Unless either side had an overwhelming advantage and could attack the other side’s territory, they would fight in Kusagakure.

”Yes, we are finally going to enjoy peace.” Someone next to him sighed in relief.

Morishita glanced at the two people who were discussing. In an instant, the two of them stopped talking and walked away tactfully.

In Kusagakure, Morishita Kizuki was famous for being an extremist who believed that only war could make Kusagakure surpass the Five Great Shinobi Countries.

”What a shallow bunch. They only see the peace in front of them without caring about a better future. Don’t you know that the Five Great Shinobi Countries will pressure small countries like us as long as possible? As long as the Five Great Shinobi Countries still pressure this village, the war will never disappear, even if we don’t want to fight. Only when the war had weakened them will we have the chance!”

After that, Morishita was too lazy to mind the two civilians and continued walking.

Every time he completed Anbu’s mission, he ought to take a stroll around the Kusagakure. He felt that this way, he would be able to strengthen his beliefs and work harder for the village.

When he walked to the dilapidated old district in the east, Morishita sighed.

Others thought he liked war, but in fact, he hated war the most.

But if Kusagakure did not grow stronger, the war would always ravage Kusagakure.

They’d be forced to follow the stronger side if they didn’t make a change.

And to surpass the Five Great Shinobi Countries, normal means were not feasible. The Five Great Shinobi Countries had more resources than them and stronger Ninjutsu. How could they become stronger than the Five Great Shinobi Countries?

Therefore, only war could change this situation, as it would weaken the Five Great Shinobi Countries.

Morishita felt that this was the only way Kusanagi could break free from the pressure of the Five Great Shinobi Countries.

Suddenly, Morishita felt an impending danger. He wanted to use the Body Flicker Technique to escape, but an intense pain made him faint.

Looking at Morishita, who fell to the ground, Nagasawa smiled. He now had half the strength of the old Whitebeard.

If he failed just now, he might as well quit being a Shinobi and get a part-time job at Ichiraku Ramen.

”How should I deal with this person?” Nagasawa fell into deep thought.

He deliberately restrained his strength so that he didn’t end up killing Morishita.

After thinking about it, Nagasawa did not kill Morishita in the end. Instead, he used a Sealing Technique on Morishita and hid him at his own home.

If he wanted to kill him, he could kill him at any time.

Nagasawa felt that Morishita might still have some use. After throwing Morishita into a small room, Nagasawa began to search for useful information in Morishita’s house.

Morishita was one of the few Jonins among the grass Shinobis, so the house he lived in was naturally quite big.

Nagasawa turned Morishita’s house upside down and came across all kinds of information, but most of them were not things that he was interested in.

However, it was also thanks to that unimportant information that Nagasawa guessed what Morishita was good at.

There was a lot of information about sword techniques and some Lightning-Release Techniques.

It was obvious that Morishita was a Shinobi who was skilled in swordsmanship and Lightning Release, which was also helpful for his disguise.

Nagasawa put on Morishita’s Kusagakure Anbu uniform and walked toward the Anbu Base.

...

...

Kakashi disguised himself as an ordinary Shinobi and walked cautiously on Kusagakure’s street.

The task given to him by Nagasawa was to investigate the perspective of Kusagakure Shinobi towards war.

So instead of disguising himself as a civilian, Kakashi disguised himself as a Shinobi.

According to his experience, the more Shinobi in a village were, the more they looked down on ordinary civilians, so if he wanted to interact with Shinobi, he had to be a Shinobi at least.

So after observing for a short period of time, Kakashi used Transformation Technique to transform into a young man with a common face.

Kakashi did not rashly make direct contact with Kusagakure Shinobi but chose to go to a tavern. This was a good place to inquire about information.

Kakashi ordered a bottle of drink and some side dishes, pretending to enjoy the night with a drink. He poured the drink to the floor little by little as he was too young to drink.

In the tavern, all kinds of arguments jumbled together, making it such a rowdy place. In such an atmosphere, coupled with alcohol’s effect, people tended to talk too much.

One of the Shinobis excitedly slammed the table as he drank. ”Damn, Iwagakure finally signed a peace treaty with those Konoha idiots, and the war is over.”

Another one of the Shinobis sighed, ”Yes, the war is finally over. What a joke! It’s Iwagakure and Konoha that fight, but we’re the ones suffering.”

Bang!

Not far away, a Kusagakure Shinobi slammed the table and said angrily, ”you people always rely too much on the Five Great Shinobi Countries. In my opinion, the war can’t be stopped. It’s better to let the Five Great Shinobi Countries fight each other. Only then can we have a chance to surpass them.”

Many of the Shinobis also voiced their agreement.

Kakashi saw this scene and showed a thoughtful expression.

It seemed that Kusagakure wasn’t completely united. Some supported the war, and some opposed the war, but he did not know which faction did Kusagakure’s Kage pick.

However, judging from how Kusagakure sent Anbu to intercept the intel, Kakashi felt that it was probably the former.
