Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

”The details are finished, but do you have the authority to speak on behalf of your brother?” Xu Feng asked.

”Of course.” Zhang Jingyi crossed her arms.

”My brother listened to me, and he knows I never give him the wrong choice.” She continued in a confident tone.

There was not a single doubt in her tone or body language that her brother would disagree with the decision.

”Hmm, will you leave the Paragon Guild then?” He questioned. Paragon was ultimately a Super Guild that had openly targeted his guild.

If Zhang Jingyi continued to remain in Paragon, the situation would become quite sticky for them.

She was silent for a brief moment. Paragon never did anything wrong to her, but she also knew that this decision had to be made.

Moreover, her actions in the alliance had roused some suspicions from others already.

’The Super Guilds contain too many arrogant and unreasonable people.’ Her Paragon was relatively fine in that aspect. But if she were to keep cooperating with the others, she would really lose it.

”I will leave Paragon.” She calmly said. ”They already knew in advance that I’m planning on leaving ever since they made that alliance.”

As someone who enjoyed freedom, she didn’t like to be told what to do. She had the money and connection to be willful enough to not be restrained by them.

Paragon also understood this aspect and respected it.

After all, they weren’t going to be dumb enough to agitate or provoke her for trying to leave the guild. It wasn’t like she was leaving for another Super Guild or making another guild of her own.

”Are you going to become guildless or join your brother’s guild?” Xu Feng inquired.

He didn’t bother mentioning his guild because it would create unnecessary drama.

If news were to spread that Zhang Jingyi left Paragon to join the Vanguard Guild, that was equivalent to announcing to the world that she found Paragon inferior to Vanguard.

And given how Super Guilds valued their reputation and face, they were bound to retaliate.

Since that would be the outcome, he might as well wait longer before trying to poach her.

”I think I will stick to being independent.” She responded after much pondering. She had no interest in her brother’s guild, but she wouldn’t let it be taken away by others either.

Hence, she requested to meet with Xu Feng for a favor. But based on his tone, it seemed like he had this kind of intention as well.

’Guilds are just too troublesome.’ Previously, she joined because she was curious about how guilds operated. Now that she had gained enough insights, there was no need for her to join any other guilds.

”Being independent isn’t a bad choice.” Xu Feng wasn’t worried about her being bullied or troubled by others. Even if she left the guild, her identity and connection remained the same.

Who would want to go after a Tier 2 Swordsman for no reason?

That too when the swordsman was a famous player!

Maybe a fool or a lunatic might go after her. But given the large player base and fanatic fans out there, they would be swarmed to death.

”So when can my brother enter the city?” Zhang Jingyi asked. She needed an approximate time to inform her brother in advance.

”He can enter whenever he wants. Just give our Guild Captain a heads up.” Xu Feng replied.

”Great, let me tell him now.”

”Take your time.”

While Zhang Jingyi went to inform her brother, Xu Feng began to dig in on the food that had arrived.

”Hmm, not bad.” The food wasn’t exactly wowing, but it was decent.

Sometime later, Zhang Jingyi finished messaging her brother and got confirmation.

”My brother agreed and will be contacting you soon. He wants to get the training started as soon as possible.” She informed him.

”Got it.” Xu Feng quickly sent a text message to Veronica. With the new update, as long as one wasn’t in a restricted zone or special environment, their communication could be linked with the real world.

All they had to do was complete a binding verification.

It was more convenient now to send messages to those in the Divine World from the real world as opposed to previously.

”Okay, they’ve been notified. Your brother can head there whenever he wants, but make sure to keep it at 10 people max.” He warned softly.

The city vacancy appeared to be very large at the moment because of how spacious it was.

However, once the city was fully open to the public, it would be filled in an instant.

Who doesn’t want to witness the first-ever player-owned city?

They all wanted to know what the benefits and unique things were available for them.

”Understood.” Zhang Jingyi agreed with the arrangement and proceeded to eat her food.

Needless to say, a contract was also established and signed by both parties.

Even though they didn’t doubt each other’s words, it was only safer and more reassuring to have a contract signed that both parties couldn’t renege on.

”What do you plan to do after this?” She then asked.

”Hmm, not sure.” He had a lot of things on his plate. But he promised Carmen that he wouldn’t overwork himself anymore.

Hence, today was technically his break, where he wasn’t allowed to do anything.

”If you’re not sure, then how about bringing me on a tour to the shooting place for your short drama?” She clasped her hands and suggested. She never liked the brain-rot short drama, but the Vanguard production was of high quality.

It was straightforward and concise, but still contained lots of exciting segments.

Everyone would instantly become hooked and addicted to the short drama once they laid eyes on it.

”You want to see the shootings?” Xu Feng was a bit surprised. Truthfully, he hadn’t visited the studio much because he had no interest in being an actor.

Whenever he showed up there, the directors and whatnot would always want to flash their script to him.

”Please~” She started acting coy and pleaded.
