Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 701: The Lord Of Dragons I

Daniel slowly stepped out. His gaze swept over everyone present, who were staring at him in shock and disbelief, as if they could not believe what they were seeing.

”You? How? That...?” The Dragon Empress’s eyes locked onto the symbol on his hand. With just one look, she felt her entire being wanting to kneel before this human.

But human? She suddenly realized that Daniel was no longer wearing the robe that hid his scent. More importantly, he no longer smelled like a human.

No... it was something more majestic, more transcendent, more noble. As if he was the most beloved existence of the world. But it was not simply favoritism.

If dragons were like the children of the world, then she felt that this man now was like the father of the world.

What was this feeling? What exactly had happened to Daniel?

”Greetings to the Supreme Lord.” The First Elder and the other Elders immediately bowed when they saw the symbol. There was no trace of their previous reactions left on their faces.

Vermyros and the other young dragons were horrified and shocked. Why were their fathers and mothers kneeling before this man?

What exactly was happening here?

However, the next moment something happened that shocked them even more. Even the Dragon Empress knelt respectfully, as if she were standing before the Dragon Goddess herself.

Their gazes fell on Daniel and the symbol on his hand. Suddenly, they too instinctively felt that they should kneel and worship this man.

The urge became so strong that they had no choice but to obey it. One after another, they dropped to their knees.

”There’s no need for formalities. This was simply the will of your Goddess.” Seeing that all of them bowed without any resistance and without him saying anything, Daniel let out a sigh of relief.

He had been worried that the dragons might cause trouble. It seemed he had underestimated how deeply they respected their Goddess.

”It looks like you encountered many opportunities inside. You’re not even human anymore,” Evangelin walked toward him and carefully examined his body.

The result shocked even her. At the same time, she both could not feel any power from him and could feel an immense power.

And he was clearly no longer human. He was not any race she recognized either, but he was definitely not human.

So what exactly had he become?

Vermyros, Rhaenyran, and the other young dragons were shocked again when they heard the last part of her sentence. So this boy who had defeated all of them and gained the Goddess’s approval was a human?

Or at least, he had been human? And all of them were now kneeling before a human?

”I guess so,” Daniel smiled lightly and then looked at the dragons again.

”I think we need to talk,” he added.

The Dragon Empress nodded and waved her hand. In the next moment, they appeared in front of the central dragon palace.

There was no sign of the young dragons. It seemed she had sent them elsewhere.

”Please, have a seat.” Nyxara gestured toward the throne. There was no playfulness left in her tone like before. It was completely respectful.

Daniel wanted to refuse, but seeing the respectful expressions on the dragons’ faces, he understood it would be better not to. He walked toward the throne and slowly sat down.

Evangelin followed him and stood beside him.

”I’m sure you’re all familiar with this symbol. This was your Goddess’s decision.”

”We are aware, and we know what that symbol means. The Goddess has granted you the leadership of the dragon race,” the First Elder nodded and spoke on behalf of all of them.

”There’s no need for formalities or this level of respect. It’s fine if we keep our previous relationship,” Daniel felt slightly uncomfortable with their sudden respect. It felt unfamiliar to him.

”That is impossible. You are now the Lord of the Dragons. It is our duty to show respect,” the Second Elder immediately rejected the idea.

”And we have been waiting for a new Lord for a long time. A leader chosen by the Goddess,” the Dragon Empress added with a smile.

”I thought that since I was human, you might show some resistance,” Daniel laughed, trying to ease the atmosphere.

”It’s true that we look down on humans. But you are the Fallen Heir. Even if the Goddess had not chosen you, you would always have had our respect,” the First Elder said.

”Fallen Heir?” The Dragon Empress’s eyes widened. It seemed she had not known about this at all.

Daniel nodded and then gave them a general summary of everything that had happened inside the trial, including that he was no longer truly human and that after merging with the Primal Flame, he had become an extremely ancient race.

”So that’s why it feels like the world itself is showing you affection, as if you are its father. It’s because you have become a Primal,” the First Elder said with a look of understanding.

Everyone’s gaze turned to him. They did not know what a Primal was. Even Evangelin did not know what this race truly was. She had never heard of them and had never seen one.

After receiving confirmation from Daniel, the First Elder explained to all of them about the race of the Innate Primals.

”To think such a powerful race once existed...” the Seventh Elder muttered in shock.

They had always believed that the first generation of dragons had been the most powerful race in history. However, it seemed they had been mistaken, and that something even stronger had existed.

However, one question arose. How did the First Elder know about them?

”I heard about them through Uncle.”

After hearing his answer, a look of understanding appeared on everyone’s faces.

”Uncle? Who is this Uncle?” Daniel asked as he looked at their expressions.

”Uncle is the strongest living dragon. What you would call a False God,” the Dragon Empress replied.

”Oh? I see.”

”He cannot come here. However, among all of us, he is probably the happiest that a leader has finally been chosen.”

”He cannot come here? Is there a problem?” Daniel frowned. According to what Evangelin had said, that False God was definitely in this Dragon Valley.

So what reason could there be that he could not come to meet him?

”Well, when you see him, you will understand. Although he cannot come, you can go to see him,” the First Elder answered.

Daniel nodded. He would definitely go meet that dragon. However, before that, there were other matters he had to handle here.

”Anyway, Lord, now that you have taken the position of leadership, we must announce this to all dragons! This will be a great event,” the Fifth Elder added with a smile.

”I agree. This will definitely be the greatest event of our race in the past thousand years,” the Third Elder also agreed.

It did not take long before all the dragons expressed their agreement. It seemed they could not wait to introduce the new leader. However, this made Daniel slightly puzzled.

From what he knew, without him being chosen as leader by the Goddess, Nyxara still existed as the Dragon Empress.

In addition, he had thought that the dragons might oppose the idea of a new leader and even rebel.

But it seemed the dragons had already known that the Goddess would sooner or later choose a leader.

”You already knew that the Goddess was going to choose a new leader?”
