Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan!

Chapter 366 Blueprint of the Full-Force Assault ”Damn those accused traitors of humanity!”

Wei Zongyuan couldnʼt help but curse even though it was in the presence of so many high ranking people.

Wei Zongyuan finally understood why such forces were gathered.

Like almost everyone else, he didnʼt understand why Demonic Cultivators would do such a thing.

If the Demonic Cultivators helped the Beast Tide any further, it wouldnʼt be just the Desolate Heaven Empire that needed to worry-even the Demonic

Cultivators themselves would be endangered.

After all, they also lived within the Desolate Heaven Empire, albeit in hiding and away from the public eye except for a few.

So if the Demonic Cultivators advanced recklessly, it wouldnʼt just spell doom for the righteous cultivators, but also for themselves.

But there was no use trying to understand the thought process of people who had long abandoned their humanity. ”Now that you know the situation, you must also understand that we canʼt just send all of our forces directly into the Beast Tide,”

Xiu Yucheng said.

Wei Zongyuan nodded. At first, he thought the Beast Tide would be over in a matter of days if they simply sent everyone at once.

But with the Demonic Cultivators involved, such a thing wasnʼt possible.

They also needed to watch out for Demonic Cultivators and keep a large portion of their forces ready to confront them, especially those in the Immortal Realm.

There were 25 cultivators in the Immortal Realm-18 in Immortal Ascension Realm, and 7 in Earth Immortal Realm.

They were the forces that needed to be held in reserve until Immortal Realm Demonic Beasts appeared, or Immortal Realm Demonic Cultivators revealed themselves.

Demonic Cultivators were not to be underestimated.

If they sent every unit into the Beast Tide, there is a high chance that Demonic Cultivator would take this chance to attack when they are busy with Beast Tide.

But of course, with such a huge combined force gathered, fear was the last thing on anyoneʼs mind.

Many even viewed this as the perfect chance to eliminate the Demonic Cultivators once and for all. ”So, shall we come up with the strategy to deal with two threats to our Empire.” Xiu Yucheng said.

Everyone stood still, with no one willing to answer. After all, if one came up with incompetent strategy, you could earn scrutiny from all the Leaders present.

Wei Zongyuan took a long breath, then spoke firmly. ”Your Excellency... I have a proposal.”

Xiu Yucheng turned his attention toward him.

The surrounding Clan Leaders, Sect Masters, and commanders also quieted.

Wei Zongyuan had been holding the front for ten days-his insight mattered.

Wei straightened his armor and continued. ”Until now, we have been using a hit-and-pull strategy. Attack, retreat, strike again, withdraw. It bleeds the Beast Tide slowly, disrupts their formation, and keeps their advance contained.”

He gestured toward the battlefield. ”That was the only way we could last this long. A direct assault wouldʼve overwhelmed us.”

Wei Zongyuanʼs eyes sharpened. ”Originally, I intended to keep using the same tactic-bleeding the Demonic Beasts bit by bit and luring out the Demonic Cultivators hiding behind them.” He clenched his fist. ”But now... with such a massive fleet descending from the sky...”

He motioned toward the sky where thousands of flying ships still glimmered. ”...thereʼs no point in using such strategy. The moment these fleets appeared, any subtlety we had vanished.”

Xiu Yucheng remained calm and thoughtful. ”With respect,” Wei continued, ”the enemy may not know our full strength, but they are not blind-they know we have received reinforcements.”

By that, he was referring to both the Demonic Cultivator and Demonic Beast.

The one leading the Demonic Beast should have a certain level of intelligence and awareness. ”So instead of wasting time with gradual attrition... why not change everything in a single stroke?”

Xiu Yuchengʼs brows rose slightly. ”Oh? Speak.”

Wei Zongyuan bowed slightly, then declared: ”We launch a full-force assault.”

The surrounding leaders leaned in. ”We keep back only the Immortal Realm cultivators and the units needed to deal with Demonic Cultivators. Everyone else will push into the Beast Tide with overwhelming force.”

He pointed toward the north where the Beast Tide roared like a living storm. ”These beasts have adjusted to our slow, cautious attacks. A sudden shift-an all-out charge-will catch them completely off guard.”

Wei Zongyuanʼs voice hardened. ”In the best case, we annihilate the Demonic Beasts before the Demonic Cultivators can intervene. Even in the worst case, we can still inflict massive damage.”

Xiu Yucheng fell deep into thought.

With such a vast force gathered, complicated plans were impossible.

They couldnʼt coordinate hundreds of thousands of cultivators and elites from every major power with delicate maneuvers. Simplicity was strength.

And the plan itself was sound. The fleets had already been seen by both enemies and allies-there was no more hiding their strength.

So instead of trying to conceal anything, striking with everything they had on their first move might produce the best results.

And keeping the Immortal Realm forces in reserve ensured they could deal with any sudden move from Demonic Cultivators.

The War Minister finally exhaled and nodded. ”Commander Wei, an exceptional strategy as well. Does anyone oppose it or have a better suggestion?”

No one spoke. ”Then it is decided.”

Silence settled over the command platform as Xiu Yucheng lowered his hand. ”We shall launch a full-force assault.”

A ripple of energy spread across the gathered leaders and officers- anticipation, fear, and excitement.

Tens of thousands of cultivators, countless ships, and the elites of the Empire were now committed to a single coordinated strike.

Xiu Yucheng turned toward the vast open-air strategy pavilion. ”Next, we will arrange the distribution and placement of all forces.”

The massive jade battlefield map-projected through formation pillars- brightened, countless glowing markers illuminating the Beast Tide, the defensive lines, and the armies of every major power.

This time, the leaders were much more tense.

Why?

Because the placement of their forces could result in their clan or sectʼs force either with high casualties or low casualities.

After all, everyone knew that those on the frontline and attacking first would definitely be hit back the hardest by the Demonic Beast and were more likely to be killed.

So everyone here wanted to avoid being placed at the front of this assault.
