Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

”So, you still have it huh...” Zihong stared at the fishing rod which soon disappeared.

With this in hand, it would be impossible to kill Vritra, that is why his aim wasn’t that.

Zihong merely wanted to capture him for now, the rest could wait.

”Haa, this, you don’t know anything about it?” he asked but Vritra didn’t say anything, his silence irritating Zihong.

But he knew the reason, to get the most information.

”Well, I am sure you already know that you won’t die while you have that, but in front of me that’s useless since I have thought of countermeasures. Then there is also stealing, which is its main job, and it could steal a lot of things.” Zihong didn’t go into further details.

”I see, so you planned to use this to free your original body.” Vritra said, stretching slightly.

”Something like that, anyway do you know anything about Rodrick Mech?” he asked, looking very curious.

”No, I don’t. I don’t think he is even on this planet, maybe he already died or maybe he is on a different planet.” Vritra shrugged.

The two didn’t look like enemies trying hard to kill each other as they exchanged answers, neither was in a hurry to attack just yet.

”About the games, from four and ahead, what do you know?” Vritra asked, very soon he would be participating after all.

”Oh, it’s been quite long since I last participated in a game, such good memories. Anyway, the games are ever-changing and mysterious, your group just has to achieve some goal. The danger level undoubtedly is high, but they end quicker too. Mine was delivering something to a location.” Zihong shared with a chuckle.

Vritra nodded, the problem is according to Divine’s plan, they would be participating in two games at once.

For their fast leveling mainly.

He still felt a headache just thinking about how he would finish that task in the god’s office.

”My turn, why exactly were you chosen by the Divine? He gave you all those abilities and treasures and you even married his sisters. That doesn’t seem normal.” Narrowing his eyes, he asked.

If he could find out the secret maybe after Vritra’s death it would be easy to inherit those abilities.

”Ah that...” Vritra fell silent, of course it must be because of Evelyn, she was the first to choose him and then included Divine in her plan.

Or maybe Divine started it himself? It was too confusing anyway.

”I guess, he saw my limitless potential, my unbending will, this unachievable charm, there could be more.” Vritra shrugged.

Then he asked: ”What is it that you hate the most?”

Zihong was still frowning upon hearing that absurd answer, but then was surprised by this question.

Why was he asking such a personal question now, did he really start to think they were friends now?

But then he started thinking, there really wasn’t anything he hated initially, but now?

”I hate getting trapped in that damned suffocating space, losing myself, it was worse than dying. The most uncomfortable feeling, staying trapped for hundreds of years.” Zihong spoke, his voice full of anger, he would rather die than get himself trapped again.

Last time it was because of his stupidity and overconfidence, he got tricked by the traps set up for him, and then got stuck.

”Ah, sounds rough, you must really hate being trapped.” Vritra nodded in understanding, staying like that all alone must be unbelievably frustrating.

”Then my question is...” Zihong thought of something and was about to ask when Vritra suddenly stood up.

Making him jump back in alert, was the fight already starting?

”Enough with this, let’s just end it.” Vritra said.

’T... This bastard, doing as he pleases!!’ Zihong clenched his fists, wasn’t he the one who started it?

”Haha. Now with that strengthened body and that dust skill, do you think you can defeat me? Heh. Too bad, I had prepared for situations where you suddenly become a level 4 demi god. No way this is enough.” He shook his head confidently.

”Is that so?” Vritra nodded then spoke: ”Well I didn’t really plan to fight you from the beginning, I was just checking my limits. By the way, have you been holding onto Knight still?”

”???” Zihong frowned, unable to understand anything.

Of course that soul wraith was still trapped in a space, frozen by his time ability, what about it?

”Sorry, but you are gonna have to stay locked up for a while longer.” Vritra said calmly, as he raised his hand and snapped his finger.

There was no change, but soon Zihong noticed that the trapped Knight seemed strange.

[Null Activated!]

The barrier of time was momentarily broken, the energy that connected Zihong to Knight suddenly turned into some sort of bridge.

”What the...” Zihong was alerted, quickly trying to stop time but he noticed that his time staff and all other treasures were missing.

His reddened eyes instantly shifted back to Vritra, glaring and roaring at him.

”You bastard, I am going to kill you!!”

But when did he steal everything? In the short span of time when he took out that fishing rod? H... How is that even possible?

It was out for merely seconds, and right in front of his eyes.

No no, why did he even start exchanging answers in the first place?

That was so stupid, he could have gotten all answers after capturing him, so how come he felt that was a good choice?

He was sure this Vritra must have used some trick to control his mind without even him noticing.

The more he thought about it the more his heart palpitated, he is too terrifying.

A literal monster!!

In any case, he was unable to push back Vritra’s time energy, as his body got firmly connected with Knight.

...

Far away, somewhere on a planet with no demi gods.

A large sorcerer had appeared, he seemed to be made of darkness itself.

After arriving he began to wreak havoc, destroying mountains and changing the natural climate.

He didn’t go out of his way to kill people, but was constantly using his ability, even as the shackles of the planet began to tighten around him.

The planet laws were dense and clearly didn’t welcome him here.

The Hellmancer, sent here by Vritra after making it consume the soul of a level 1 demi god.

It had too reached the demi god level and hence couldn’t stay here for too long or would get trapped on the planet forever.

After many days of wreaking havoc, just when the pressure was extremely heavy and Hellmancer was sensing a dangerous pull by the planet.

It received the signal from its master, it was finally time!!

Suddenly Hellmancer’s body began to glow, strange patterns lighting up around it. At that moment suddenly thick arms from the planet rose, finally pulling it with extreme force.

...

Back on the other side, Zihong panicked, he tried to throw the dark Knight away, sensing that something bad was about to happen.

In a calm voice, Vritra asked: ”Did you also... prepare for this?”

”You...”

”Swap!” with a shout, the bright bridge connecting Knight and Zihong shook.

And the two swapped places with each other, Zihong was screaming trying to do something as colourless flames burned around him.

But suddenly he further exchanged places with Hellmancer, getting thrown onto that very planet.

Hellmancer and Knight stood some distance away from each other, bowing respectfully towards Vritra.

Knight didn’t understand what had just happened, he only remembered getting captured.

So Hellmancer shared the whole plan telepathically.

Vritra had made this plan to defeat Zihong the moment Dark Knight was captured.

And the fight wasn’t only to test Vritra’s strength, it was also to make Zihong reveal his main treasures.

That’s why Vritra revealed most of his tricks and abilities.

Knight, yet again, was surprised by the plan of its master, quite amazed even.

Almost everything that happened here was already calculated, poor Zihong had no chance of winning.

...

On the other side, Zihong still couldn’t understand what exactly had happened, as he suddenly found himself on a different planet.

Yet suddenly, a strangely familiar sensation enveloped him.

By the time he came to his senses, he felt the world laws tightly wrapped around him, pulling him down.

”W... What is going on?!!” he screamed and roared, using all his strength to get away from those arms and break free.

He had just arrived here so how come this planet was already trying to capture him?

Suddenly, everything clicked in his mind, that damned Vritra!! It was all because of him, so he had made this sort of plan!

Zihong felt shocked and enraged, he didn’t underestimate his opponent at all, preparing his best to fight Vritra while he was busy with the apocalyptic game.

Even finding all those rarest treasures, which had now fallen into Vritra’s hands.

RAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

He screamed resentfully, not wanting to accept this type of defeat, struggling endlessly as his body slowly sank into the planet.

World laws kept wrapping around him, rendering all his abilities useless, he couldn’t even use time.

He had suffered this once already, and now again?

Within moments, he was already trapped near the planet’s core, unable to move an inch.

Unable to do anything at all, his thoughts getting lost in endless darkness and loneliness.

A punishment worse than death, something he hated more than anything in the world.

But now he hated Vritra even more, his resentment couldn’t be measured.

And just like that, Zihong once again got locked away, trapped for an unknown amount of time.

His mind wandering endlessly.
