Looking at the fragmented stones on the ground and then at the right hand turned pure silver, Gu Xi finally felt that it wasn’t a waste this time.

It’s a bit of a pity though, as the right hand earlier seemed more vibrant.

After storing the silver hand away, Gu Xi walked over to Alexander’s side.

Compared to the previous three bosses, Alexander was in a different situation.

The muscles on his back were completely gone, revealing a shattered spine, and his head was smashed into a bloody pulp.

As for other parts of his body, they were somewhat affected too, with some parts petrified and others cut into pieces.

Gu Xi didn’t expect to find anything good from him.

Just a dagger and a few green items would have been enough.

But to Gu Xi’s surprise, as he flipped through the bloody corpse, a lot of green light burst out of it.

Within the green light, there was also a blue glow and a purple one.

Could it be that a purple item appeared here?

Gu Xi was a bit surprised, thinking the purple item would only appear at the end.

Recalling what Eldest Princess Anna said before entering the dungeon, Gu Xi promptly contacted the now missing Eldest Princess Anna.

”Eldest Princess Anna, a purple item dropped, come and see if it’s what you need.”

At this time, Eldest Princess Anna was setting up strategies against the Anna inside the dungeon.

She was also surprised by the message Gu Xi sent through the Eye of the Soul.

Like Gu Xi, she thought the purple item would only drop from the Tail King, not expecting it to appear with Alexander.

”I’ll be there right away.”

Eldest Princess Anna still had a need for purple items in the Westminster Cathedral dungeon, so she immediately responded.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi began to handle other things.

On Alexander’s corpse, the blue glow came from a dagger inserted in his heart.

That was the Evil Artifact Dagger, but this dagger’s usage differed from the others.

Apart from this Evil Artifact Dagger, the remaining green items were also different from other bosses’ drops, both in quantity and functionality.

[Monument Fragments (White): Fragments gathered from some renowned monuments, allowing you to build a monument in the city if combined with a unit of stone (supporting building, effects are random).]

[Statue: A statue of random quality that can serve as a decoration in the city, considered a supporting building; statues of green quality and above come with one to three special attributes.]

[Light of Art (Green): A special item that can be used on ordinary paintings or statues to transform them into artworks for city decoration.]

[Heroic Achievements (Green): A special item that can be used on Boss Level underlings, granting them a 1% chance of evolving into a hero (the transformation takes three days each time).]

Seeing the attributes of these items, Gu Xi realized that all of them came from the monument outside and the numerous statues within.

It seems that Westminster Cathedral’s true value lies not in the bosses inside but in the foundation accumulated over the years housed within.

If possible, he wanted to backtrack and see if anything was missed along the way.

At that moment, Eldest Princess Anna also reached Gu Xi’s side.

”Sir, where’s the purple item?”

Gu Xi pointed to the untouched corpse.

”It’s on the corpse, see if it’s what you need.”

Eldest Princess Anna glanced at Alexander’s condition, muttering to herself.

”The reason I wanted a purple item from the dungeon was actually for weapons crafted from the Apple Tree, which holds special significance for me. This one hasn’t interacted much with the Apple Tree, so the purple item isn’t what I’m looking for.”

As she spoke, Eldest Princess Anna reached over and took the purple item from Alexander’s corpse.

It was most of Alexander’s spine, and her expression turned grim as she held it.

”What’s wrong?”

Gu Xi was curious, as Eldest Princess Anna was usually composed; what was happening now?

Eldest Princess Anna handed the spine over to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi heard the attributes of the spine as soon as it hit his ears.

[Alexander’s Spine (Purple, Main Hand Weapon)]

[Attack: 17-25]

[Equipped: Power +5, Agility +5]

[Equipment Requirements: Power 10, Constitution 8]

[Special 1: Petrifying Lock, each attack has a 45% chance to petrify the enemy (petrification time depends on enemy strength, minimum 15 seconds).]

[Special Impact 1: After equipping and activating the Petrifying Lock once, the user will be affected; limbs will stiffen out of combat, making them unusable.]

[Special 2: Sky-supporting Spine, for every enemy killed, absorb a vertebra and a metal weapon from the enemy, increasing this spine’s attack by +1 (no upper limit on upgrade).]

[Special Impact 2: After equipping and activating the Sky-supporting Spine once, the user will feel pain in their spine out of combat and may even have difficulty moving if the spine is broken.]

[Special 3: Art and Science, swinging the spine to attack will produce sounds that confuse enemies, causing them to fall into chaos and other negative effects.]

[Special Impact 3: After equipping and activating the Art and Science effect once, the user’s Intelligence will decrease by 1 point each use until Intelligence reaches zero.]

[Note: Don’t underestimate this piece of spine; in some people’s eyes, it’s a fine weapon.]

”This isn’t what I wanted; it was a waste of a trip.”

”No problem, next time we’ll start directly from the Tail King, and aim to get it from there first. The purple item should be easy to obtain. As for this one, I’ll decide if it should be used by the Death Incarnation or given to someone else.”
