Chapter 574: Chapter 286: Fairyland (Part 3)

”It’s said that each participant adds their own unique elements and interpretations to Lance’s theory based on their understanding. Perhaps one day, the master will have the opportunity to join this exhibition...”

Ron nodded silently, his gaze gently sweeping over the Lance’s Experiment Notes in his hand.

It was late at night, and the celebration was nearing its end.

The students reluctantly bid farewell to Ron and Eve, agreeing to meet again tomorrow, then each returned to their dormitories.

”Thank you for your company today, Master.”

Eve lowered her head slightly before boarding the Silver Feather aircraft and said softly:

”This is the happiest day of my short life. No burdens, no pain, just pure relaxation and joy...”

”No need to be polite,” Ron’s face bore a rare gentleness:

”Witnessing the growth and joy of students is both a responsibility and an honor for the mentor.”

He watched as the aircraft slowly ascended and disappeared into the night sky, before returning to his residence with Ailan and Dale.

Upon returning home, a softly glowing blue envelope was quietly floating in the center of the living room.

This is a unique magical communication from the Crystal Tower, usually used to deliver important notifications.

Ron reached out to retrieve the envelope; the energy fluctuation indicated it was news from the academic review department.

He opened the envelope, took out the parchment inside, quickly browsed through its contents, and his lips curled slightly upward.

”The master seems to be in a good mood.”

Ailan keenly noticed the change in his expression: ”Is it good news?”

”My paper passed the second round of reviews.”

Ron explained briefly, his eyes showing a sense of satisfaction:

”The final contribution points have been determined to be 1200, and selected excerpts will be published in the New Scholarly Monthly, which is one of the most influential secondary academic journals in the Central Lands.”

”Congratulations, Master!” Ailan and Dale both congratulated him in unison, bringing a festive atmosphere back into the room.

After patting the Little Sea Siren on the head and letting the two alien servants go about their own business, Ron carefully stored away the glowing blue envelope.

He moved to the sofa in the center of the study, lightly pressed his palm to his temple, and closed his eyes.

In his consciousness world, the ever-expanding Library of Consciousness emerged.

The neatly arranged knowledge on the shelves flowed and flipped along with his thoughts.

”Academic publications and school systems...”

He called softly in his heart, prompting a row of specialized books to float out from the shelves.

In his consciousness space, they automatically opened, displaying related memories and information.

The New Scholarly Monthly, an academic journal jointly founded by three associate professors, is quite reputable among the secondary journals in the Central Lands.

Ron’s thoughts extended along the academic publication grading system, organizing relevant information in the Library of Consciousness.

In the wizard academic circle of the Ring Abyss Continent Group, the rank of publications is strictly divided, directly impacting a wizard’s academic status and influence.

The highest level is undoubtedly the Monument of Truth.

This level has surpassed the scope of regular academic publications, becoming a special record like the Wizard General Record.

The works published therein are all pioneering achievements, made by full professors, essentially the creations of Great Wizards.

And these achievements are often recorded into wizard history.

Even past hundreds or thousands of years, these papers are still referenced and discussed repeatedly, with potential direct influence on the development direction of the wizard society.

It’s said that the library in the Crystal Tower holds several complete sets of the Monument of Truth, and only lecturers have the privilege to consult them.

Thinking of this, Ron’s slightly satisfied mindset calmed down.

Being able to publish a paper in a secondary journal is already quite an achievement.

But compared to those true academic pinnacles, this is merely the first step on a long journey.

Next in rank are the primary journals, which are the core publications of the Seven Major Schools.

Each school has an official journal for their specialty area, representing the highest academic achievement of the school in that field.

Publishing an article in these journals requires at least associate professor-level work, indicating that the author has reached a master level in a particular sub-field.

As the most central wizard organization of the Ring Abyss Continent Group, the Seven Major Schools hold an irreplaceable authority in their respective domains:

1. ”Crystal Tower”—the leader among the Seven Major Schools.

Almost all significant breakthroughs impacting the wizard world can find their initial inspiration source in the experimental records of the Crystal Tower.

The corresponding core publication is Deconstruction.

2. ”Elemental Garden”—a reputable institution regarding elements, cultivating thousands of elemental creatures in its unique ecosystem.

Each zone simulates different extreme environments, ranging from volcanic lava to polar ice fields, providing unparalleled experimental grounds for elemental research.

The corresponding core publication is Crown of Elements.

3. ”Dark House”—despite its name being ”small house,” it is actually a vast underground complex.

Specializes in researching stealth techniques, illusion techniques, and spiritual influence, most of its members operate in secrecy.

The corresponding core publication is Shadow Research.

4. ”Tower of Vibrations”—the hall of sound research, the tower itself is a massive tuner, capable of producing and absorbing sound waves of various frequencies.

Its most renowned accomplishment is Resonance Theory, using sound as a bridge connecting different dimensions.

The corresponding core publication is Melody and Harmony.

...

Each school has its unique characteristics and areas of expertise, collectively forming the foundation of extraordinary knowledge in the Ring Abyss Continent Group.

”Publishing in a primary journal already means gaining significant recognition in that field.”

Ron mused in his heart:

”Generally speaking, it’s a prerequisite for being promoted to associate professor.”

Then there are secondary journals, typically co-founded by a full professor or several associate professors, with permission and review from the School Alliance.

Although not as authoritative as primary journals, the quality remains high, with most articles being outstanding research results below the associate professor level.

Finally, tertiary journals, mostly self-founded by small to medium wizard organizations outside the Central Lands, and their content quality varies greatly.

Even with contribution points rewards, they usually do not exceed 200 points.

Though these journals have low quality, they still play an irreplaceable role as channels for spreading knowledge.

Especially for those remote areas away from the Central Lands.

The New Scholarly Monthly that he is about to be published in focuses on interdisciplinary innovations in Alchemy, Bloodline Modulation, and Magic Potion Making, serving as a vital platform for the young generation of wizards to showcase their talents.

To have his paper published in such a secondary journal within half a year.

Even in an academic haven like the Crystal Tower, it signifies a rapid rise.

Many veteran wizards who have been working hard for years may not achieve such accomplishments.

Ron nodded slightly, a faint sense of satisfaction rising from his heart, quickly subdued by his rationality.

Any emotional satisfaction is temporary; the real value lies in the growth of power brought by knowledge itself.

The letter not only informed him about his paper’s contribution points and selective publication in the New Scholarly Monthly.

It also invited him to visit the review department when convenient to discuss specific matters regarding the publication of his paper.

And further optimization plans for the Mobile Simulation Battle Device and discussion on the School Alliance’s investment in his projects.

”Investment from the School Alliance...” Ron’s eyes revealed a thoughtful expression.

He picked up the feather pen on the table and wrote on the reply paper:

”Dear Review Department:

Thank you for your recognition and invitation.

Due to limited work during holidays, I will visit the review department to discuss related matters after the holiday, on the first day after class (i.e., Wednesday) afternoon.

Yours faithfully

Ron Ralph”
