Chapter 1033: Chapter 800: Step 1

The scene of the signing ceremony was illuminated brightly.

Huai Shi took the pen from Yuan Yuan, and amidst the frantic shots by all the reporters, he signed his name on the contract, stamping it with the official seal of the Tanbo Group.

The contracts were exchanged by the three parties, with five copies each for the Tanbo Group, Australia Green Turf Mining, and Guanshan Group, as well as the Forever Group’s agent under the Ivory Tower and the Existence Institute, as the Witness.

Initial agreements for strategic cooperation among the parties.

He finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Everything was settled.

He reached out to the smiling woman beside him, ”Miss Gwendolin, thank you for your support alongside Lord Sand King, and I hope our friendship will last eternally.”

”It’s just mutual benefit and help, Green Turf Mining is honored to have an ally like you.”

Gwendolin squeezed his hand firmly, displaying a close-knit cooperative stance under the reporters’ spotlight, but after releasing the grip and moving backstage, she seemed somewhat hesitant, as if wanting to say something.

”What’s wrong?” Huai Shi asked curiously, ”Is there a query regarding the contract terms, or is our hospitality lacking?”

”No, it’s just a personal request.”

After contemplating for a moment, Gwendolin examined the man who was much younger than her, and asked shyly, ”Could you... say that sentence to me again?”

Huai Shi was bewildered, ”Which one?”

Feeling the subtle gaze from Yuan Yuan behind him, he couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous.

Gwendolin’s expression became excited, she whispered, ”The one you mentioned to the Tanbo Inner Circle, it’s that sentence...”

While speaking, she posed a gesture, trying to awaken Huai Shi’s memory.

Huai Shi pondered for quite a while, scratching his head in confusion.

”Do you mean...” he asked tentatively, ”We all have a bright future?”

”Yes, yes, that’s it! That’s it!”

Gwendolin excitedly clenched her fist, grasping his hand, shaking vigorously, her eyes sparkling, ”I came for this sentence! Thank you, thank you!

Oh, could you sign your name for me later? I bought your limited edition full card set...”

”Sure, sure...”

Huai Shi’s eye twitched slightly, ”No problem!”

The needs of the partners should be met as much as possible, and if not feasible, conditions should be created to fulfill them.

Soon, Gwendolin was taken away by her assistant; she still had a lot of arrangements to make. Before leaving, she persistently reminded Huai Shi not to forget her signature.

Watching her leave, Huai Shi finally felt cold sweat dripping from his forehead.

The pressure was immense.

Is this a sign of failed transition for himself? Why is he still reliant on fans...

Of course, being able to negotiate this cooperation might not necessarily involve much idol aura.

Miss Gwendolin has been married for many years, with two kids, a rare family-oriented woman of power. As an executive of Green Turf Mining, no matter how busy she is at night, she always calls her husband and kids to tell them bedtime stories, unlikely to lose composure over a handsome face.

The cooperation between Green Turf Group and Tanbo ultimately boils down to mutual benefit.

Green Turf Group, reaching the saturation point in development, needs the channels offered by Ivory Tower to expand its sales and influence in the Border and Hell.

Moreover, Lord Sand King is more interested in another promise made by Huai Shi.

The key element in the news often overlooked by everyone — the non-polluting smelting technology domain.

Though Australia is covered by endless desert, the area around Canberra has already seen green and vitality return, and the heavy industry of the past can no longer emit pollutants or damage the environment thoughtlessly.

Thus, most production bases trend towards moving to the desert regions in the Australian inland.

However, this merely addresses the symptoms and not the root problem, causing trouble for subsequent greenfield expansions and greening efforts.

This elderly figure, gradually being referred to by many as the ’Fertile Land Monarch’, absolutely wouldn’t allow his life’s desire to be hindered.

What they need at this time is technical support from the Ivory Tower.

And the exclusive craftsmanship of Forgers held by Huai Shi.

This kind of terrifying technology, at its peak, can mechanize the entire Hell completely, backed by countless unique crafts different from today’s Current Circumstances technology methods.

The scholars at Ivory Tower Research Institute calculate that, combined with the Forgers’ technology, within about three years, pollution generated from conventional heavy industry and metal smelting can be reduced by thirty percent.

If technological breakthroughs occur, the final minimum reduction will stabilize at around forty-three percent— if cost-effectiveness isn’t factored, achieving full non-pollution poses no issue.

On the day of the signing ceremony, the new Metallurgical Technology Center would commence construction in Tanbo, managed by Ivory Tower’s architectural department construction team, ready for operation within a week.

But this is already beyond Huai Shi’s concern.

The subsequent tasks can be said to involve almost nothing except occasional signature approval from him.

There will be more professionals to handle it, no need for Huai Shi to worry pointlessly.

Sitting in the car, he closed his eyes, unable to suppress a long sigh.

Feeling deeply fatigued.

Within these short two or three days, he feels like he’s almost used up half a life’s worth of brainpower to accomplish this task.
