What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 633: Time To Settle Something Personal

We waited there while the trenchcoat guy called up several people through his personal terminal. The other thugs on his side were watching us with clearly suspicious gazes, probably thinking we were connected to this somehow.

As long as they don’t come to the conclusion that we were the suppliers of their guns, we should be fine, I hope.

Well... Then again, even if they do try something against us, we’ll just kill them and get out of here anyway.

The trenchcoat guy eventually came back to us, showing us his personal terminal that had a call connected to Feng.

The guy was obviously not amused and was glaring at us, ”You don’t happen to be involved in this, are you?”

I gestured at ourselves, ”I already asked your guy here but does it look like we’re involved? Why the heck would we fight back if this was part of our plan?”

He stared at me for a moment before he narrowed his eyes at me, ”Only a small number of people knew about this trade including the time and location. If it wasn’t you...”

I raised my hand slightly, ”Is this a good time to tell you that your guy who was watching the door yesterday tried to stalk us?”

Feng’s brows furrowed, ”What do you mean?”

”The guy that was sitting outside the entrance of your hideout. The one watching the entrance outside. When we left your place, he was following us. I thought you were using him to keep an eye on us or something so I didn’t kill him. Was he acting under your orders or...”

Obviously I already knew the answer and even interrogated that guy but Feng doesn’t need to know that. I should just show him that I was as clueless as possible to wipe as much suspicion from us.

Feng looked even more pissed after hearing what I said, ”No. I did not order that. Are you sure he was following you?”

”Yes. We even walked a circle around the street and he was still behind us. So you didn’t tell him to follow us?”

”No. I did not.”

”So who are these bastards who attacked us?”

”It’s a rival gang. Just a bunch of scavengers.”

”Give me names. Or a location.”

”Why?”

”Why? How do I know that this wasn’t some kind of plan where you try to jump us with your own men and make it look like you were attacked by a non-existent rival gang? If this trade is so secretive like you said, how did this happen? We were literally only notified of this location two hours ago so how would we even set this up? I’d think it’s more possible to assume this was your plan instead.”

The trenchcoat guy didn’t seem happy that I was accusing them but he kept his mouth shut.

Feng sniffed at me before waving his hand, prompting another screen to pop up.

On that screen was the suit guy that I saw yesterday except the image showed him pointing a gun at someone kneeling in front of him.

It was obvious whoever took this image did so without his knowledge.

”They call themselves Cybernatiks. As I said, they’re scavengers and low lifes and that’s their leader. They mostly operate out of a broken factory building at the Old Section of the station and they’re known to be troublemakers. Happy now?”

I made sure to also stare at him for a moment, acting like I was considering it before stepping back.

”Fine. Then is there anything else? This whole sale was meant to be a one time thing for us and we had planned to leave after the trade had concluded.”

”Go ahead then. We have other things to settle.”

The screen shut itself off and even though it didn’t look like it, I’m pretty sure he figured out he has moles in his organisation.

He’ll probably spend the next few days rooting them out and while he’s busy with that... I’ll go ahead and deal with these... Cybernatiks.

I turned and left the place through the same tunnel until I reached an intersection, prompting Amber and the others to step out from the shadows.

”Ehhh... I was prepared to rush in there and tear everything apart...” Amber whined, running up to hug me while giving me a pouty face.

Err... Honestly, I might have called for their help if Renata didn’t just completely wreck all of them by herself...

I didn’t actually think she was that strong... I only took her along because Feng already saw her and I thought it would be best for the people there to be unsure of how many people were in my crew exactly.

But she just went ahead to show that she was basically immune to kinetic damage and could take on multiple opponents at the same time.

As expected of an eldritch maid I guess?

Anyway, I knew what Amber wanted so I went ahead to kiss her on the lips, my lover squealing in delight and kissing me back almost immediately, her poutiness already melting away like ice before an inferno.

Once she was satisfied, I turned to the others, ”Are we ready to go? I have the location of those bastards.”

Ries grinned at me, ”We just need to head back to suit up and we’ll be ready~”

Ah yes. I’m going to take the Power Armour for this of course~

*

”Yawn, being a guard is so boring~”

”I know right? I hope those idiots blew up~”

”Hahaha~ Yeah just like how we’re going to blow up really soon!”

”Hey, why is that cool looking Power Armour looking at us?”

I fired the shoulder mounted mortar at the entrance to the factory, blowing up the two guards and the entrance itself.

I turned to Ries who had been ’mimicking’ the guards conversing, ”There’s no way that’s what those two were saying before they got blown up.”

She giggled, ”Nyahahaha~ Probably not! But they’re dead so who cares? Let’s go!!”

She didn’t wait and charged forward alongside the rest of my girls, it seemed like all of them really wanted a piece of these thugs who tried to blow us up.

Well, so do I, actually... So I immediately ran after them as they charged through the smoke cloud created by my mortar.

By the time I reached the door, I was hearing gunshots ringing out from within and dead bodies spread out all around the area. The fact that some of them were burnt showed that Amber was using her powers as well.

Nothing wrong with that since we were already planning on leaving no witnesses. Everyone here was dying today.

Looking around, the entrance had led us to a main hall with several doors around leading to different parts of this factory, some of the doors left hanging open on broken hinges while others having been outright smashed to pieces.

The girls had already scattered, since we had to make sure no one was able to escape so we decided we would have to split up to take out sections of the factory all at the same time.

I trusted my girls to be able to handle themselves so I looked around for a place that the girls have not yet gone through.

I didn’t need to look that hard since a few moments later, footsteps could be heard thundering from one of the corridors of the factory floor.

And it just so happens to be the corridor I was standing next to.

I waited beside it and the door swung open, letting a group of thugs rush out with their weapons held at the ready.

The person at the back scanned around the hall looking for threats and froze up when he realised I was standing right beside his group.

Not giving him a chance to react, I reached out to grab him by the head and twisted, snapping his neck with a loud crack.

The others turned around, only to see a wave blade slashing towards them as I swung my arm in an arc.

Heads went flying as the energy blade sliced through both flesh and machine like they were made of paper.

One of them started panic firing in my direction but my shield made sure that none of the bullets even scratched the armour plating before I punched that thug in the face.

His head caved in and his corpse flew away to smash into the wall, which was soon joined by another thug as I kicked one in the chest to send him flying in the same direction.

One tried to run so I slashed his legs out from under him before grabbing another thug by his neck and using him as an improvised weapon to smash the dismembered thug into the ground, both of them turning into meat paste.

The last one was actually brave enough to try and rush me while firing his shotgun so I waited until he was close enough before grabbing him by his torso and lifting him up into the air.

He screamed as I used my other hand to hold his legs and pulled, separating him into two halves before I tossed him aside.

Now... I hope there’s still more people for me to brutalise~
