Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1531  Purity vs Corruption

Then the corruption on her cheek flared.

The pain hit like a needle driven into bone. Lilyannaʼs eyes flew open as heat lanced through the mark, the dull blemish suddenly alive and burning. The stain spread a fraction of an inch before her authority clamped down and forced it still.

But the damage was done. The door was open.

”Kekeke…”

The laugh slid into her divine space like smoke through a cracked wall. Low and venomous, carrying a weight that pressed against the planes of her dimension.

Lilyannaʼs spine went rigid.

The presence that followed was old and immense, pushing against the structure of her domain from the outside. It tested the boundaries, probed the edges, and then found the corruption anchored in Lilyannaʼs skin and followed it inward like a thread through a needle.

”Kekeke… Well now.”

The voice paused. The amusement shifted to confusion.

”This is not the boyʼs soul realm.”

SelʼAshraʼs presence hung in the space between planes, half-formed and probing, expecting to find a primordialʼs fragile inner world and the corruption seed planted there.

Instead, she found a goddess.

”Little One…” SelʼAshraʼs voice curled with slow recognition. ”What a peculiar surprise.”

Lilyanna was already moving.

Purity surged from her core in a crushing wave, slamming outward through every plane of her dimension. The space around her hardened, surfaces locking into rigid formations as her authority met the intruding presence head-on.

”You have no authority here, SelʼAshra, The Withered Flame!” Lilyanna said. Her voice carried divine weight that bent the air itself. ”Leave!”

SelʼAshra did not leave.

The corrupted presence shifted, adjusted, and pushed back. The Withered Flame had not manifested here. She was reaching from a vast distance, threading her will through the concept of corruption itself.

”Curious,” SelʼAshra murmured. ”A Goddess of Purity sheltering a corruption seed holder. I already knew you were fond of the boy, but this arrangement raises questions.”

Lilyannaʼs hands clenched at her sides. Radiance poured from her in steady waves, denying the corruption expansion. Her dimension responded to her will, planes shifting to isolate the intrusion, structure folding to cut off pathways the corruption tried to exploit.

”Begone!” The command carried force enough to fracture lesser authorities. ”You hold no permission to enter my domain. You trespass against a fellow god!”

SelʼAshraʼs laugh came again, lower this time, and the corruption in Lilyannaʼs cheek pulsed in sympathy.

”A fellow god,” SelʼAshra repeated, savoring the words. ”How generous of you, Little One. But we both know the hierarchy between us, donʼt we?”

The pressure increased. Lilyanna felt it test her barriers, searching for weakness. SelʼAshra was stronger. A high-tier Goddess of Corruption against a mid-tier Goddess of Purity.

But SelʼAshra was reaching across the void and Lilyanna stood in the heart of her own domain, where every surface and structure answered to her will alone.

The stalemate held.

”How…” SelʼAshra murmured, her probing growing more focused, ”…can the Goddess of Purity protect a corruption seed holder? He resides in your world, yes, but the seed is mine to track. Mine to reach. His signature should lead me to him, and yet…”

Her presence stilled.

Then the laughter erupted. Loud, manic, carrying the delight of a predator who had just been genuinely surprised.

”Kekekeke! Oh, oh this is rich!” SelʼAshraʼs voice climbed with every syllable. ”That boy! He corrupted you, didnʼt he?!”

Lilyannaʼs composure cracked.

Her hand flew to her cheek, fingers pressing against the blemish. Tears stung the corners of her eyes as the corruption fed off the attention.

”That did not happen!” Lilyanna shouted, the denial coming too fast, too sharp, her voice pitching higher than any divine decree should. ”He - it was an accident! A reckless, idiotic gamble by a boy who had no understanding of what he was doing!”

”And yet the result remains,” SelʼAshra purred. ”Corruption lives in a Goddess of Purity. His signature, burned into your divine flesh.”

The laughter faded into a hum of genuine consideration.

”He redirected me. Whether he intended it or not, the boy turned his own goddess into a shield.”

Lilyanna crushed the intrusion back with a surge of purity that made her dimension ring like a struck bell. SelʼAshraʼs presence bent under the force but clung to the anchor, refusing to be severed.

”A primordial who can brand a goddess with Corruption…” SelʼAshraʼs voice dropped to a murmur. ”Perhaps that boy deserves the seed after all. How interesting...”

”Then leave him alone! He deserves the seed, end of the story!” Lilyanna ground her teeth. Tears tracked down her cheeks, one cutting across the corrupted skin. She wiped it away with the back of her hand and shoved harder against the intrusion.

SelʼAshraʼs presence bent under the force. For a moment, the corruption contracted, and Lilyanna thought she had won.

Then the Withered Flameʼs laughter returned, quiet and certain.

”Oh, quite the opposite. A boy who can corrupt a goddess deserves my personal attention. Iʼll be the one to shape what he becomes… whether he likes it or not.”

”No! I refuse!” Even as SelʼAshra probed and her own composure fractured, Lilyannaʼs authority never faltered. Purity ground against Corruption in a silent war fought across every plane of her dimension.

And through it all, her gaze stayed fixed on the mortal plane.

Quinlan Elysiar floated above his stolen city with Jasmine pressed against his chest, the sun bleeding gold across the treeline behind them. A hundred thousand voices chanted beneath their feet. The insufferable grin had softened into a quieter expression as he held the woman he loved above the world he was carving for himself.

Lilyannaʼs eyes burned.

”That Evil Boy is foolish, reckless, disrespectful, and the single most infuriating creature I have encountered in eons of existence,” she growled, voice shaking as she forced SelʼAshraʼs presence back another inch. ”He attacked me. He corrupted my body. Heʼs stealing my peopleʼs devotion.”

Her fingers dug into her palms. Radiance blazed from her skin, searing and absolute.

”But he is under my protection. Every primordial, every mortal, every soul that walks the world of Thalorind lives beneath my gaze, and I will not let you touch him!”

SelʼAshraʼs laughter rippled through the space one final time, amused and utterly unbothered.

”He truly did corrupt you, Little One.”

”He did not!” Lilyanna screamed.

”Yes, yes…” the Withered Flame chuckled.

The corruption presence contracted, pulling inward. SelʼAshra was withdrawing.

”Enjoy your sacred duty, little one. Iʼll be visiting again soon.” A final cackle rolled through the space, lingering long after the presence faded. ”How very, very interesting…”

Then she was gone.

Lilyanna stood in the center of her dimension, shoulders heaving, radiance dimming as the battle ended. The corruption mark on her cheek went quiet, settling back into the contained blemish it had been before.

Her knees buckled.

She caught herself on the edge of her throne, breathing hard. The effort of fighting SelʼAshra had cost her.

She slumped into her throne and pressed both hands to her face.

Several long moments passed in silence.

Then she spread her fingers just enough to peer through them at the mortal plane below.

Quinlan was still there. Still floating. Still holding Jasmine. Still wearing that quiet, content expression that made her want to write forty more complaints.

The sun hung low over the treeline, minutes from dropping behind it, and the city he had built glowed beneath him in the warm amber of frosted quartz and geothermal heat.

Lilyanna lowered her hands.

She looked at him for a long moment.

Then, with the careful dignity of a cosmic being who refused to let a bad day define her, she sat up straight and smoothed her robes.

The notebook reappeared in her hand.

”On second thought,” she said crisply, flipping to the next empty page, ”I donʼt need a break.”

Her fingers resumed their work.

Complaint #13,067: I hate him!

Complaint #13,068: But I still want to protect him…
