Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1407  Lilyannaʼs Ploy

Quinlan looked the Goddess over, simply forced to. And this time, he was not simping for a hot woman. Her entire form was so otherworldly that he was struck for a few moments.

His eyes traced her from head to toe, then back again, slower the second time, as if his mind needed confirmation that what he was seeing was real. The dress clung to a human outline, tasteful and restrained, yet it failed to anchor her presence. The surface beneath it refused to stay fixed. Patterns drifted across her skin in measured motion, slow and vast, like distant lights shifting their routes across a sky too deep to chart.

Even her teeth caught his attention when her lips parted slightly to smile at him, though it didnʼt feel like a motion of warmth. ”We meet at last indeed, Goddess Lilyanna,” Quinlan said at last, returning the greeting.

Luminara stepped forward before the moment could stretch any further. Her posture was relaxed, familiar. ”Did something urgent come up?” she asked lightly. ”You arrived far earlier than planned.”

Lilyanna turned her head toward the elf primordial.

She smiled deeper.

It was smooth. Elegant. Captivating in the way a well-set snare was captivating once you noticed the tension in its wire. Her teeth gleamed, each one reflecting patterns that did not belong to this space. When she spoke, the sound layered over itself, feminine in tone but distorted by depth, as if more than one presence shared the same mouth.

”No, Luminara,” she replied. ”Nothing urgent.”

Mearie snorted, folding her arms. ”So you just got bored.”

Lilyannaʼs gaze slid to her without haste. ”Perhaps that is the case, or perhaps not. I am here and thatʼs the end of the story.”

The words settled heavily into the space between them. They were not raised. They were not sharpened. They simply existed, carrying authority by weight alone.

Mearie blinked. Luminaraʼs brow creased slightly.

They all felt the way her presence pressed without effort. This was not the playful figure the primordials teased or indulged. This was the face she chose to wear when reminding others where power rested.

Quinlanʼs attention focused on her expression, moving on from her mesmerizing skin.

ʼIs this because of me?ʼ Quinlan pondered with narrowed eyes, not liking the way the woman spoke to his mothers, even if she was technically their boss, so to speak.

Quinlan knew that the primordials were family in Lilyannaʼs eyes. But Quinlan was a recent addition, having newly risen. And worse, their interactions thus far had been strained to put it extremely mildly.

Perhaps this was a correction.

ʼPerhaps I shouldnʼt have messed with her so much…ʼ Quinlan mused inwardly. Heʼs been a bit cheeky with not only his actions but his attitude towards this woman, openly calling her a brat and the like.

Lilyanna turned fully toward him again. Her eyes settled on his face and did not move. The pressure followed, direct and measured, pressing through layers of being rather than skin.

”You might stand in a minor realm that does not answer to me, baby primordial, yet you exist within a world that does. You should not forget that.”

Her hands rested at her hips, fingers loose. The tear she had forced open earlier left no trace now, but the memory of resistance and her forceful push through it lingered.

ʼYep, sheʼs mad.ʼ All the primordials noted inwardly.

”Lilyanna. We respect and love you, but I do not appreciate the way youʼre speaking to my son,” Luminara decreed without showing an iota of fear.

It wasnʼt because she thought the woman would never punish her, no matter what she did, but because protecting Quinlan was more important than herself.

”Yeah… Dial back some of that attitude of yours, will you?” Mearie demanded.

Lilyanna met both mothersʼ gazes without flinching.

She did not stiffen. She did not bristle. Instead, she simply tilted her head sideways, studying them as one might examine a long-standing ally whose limits were already known. Then her lips curved upward.

The grin was wide.

Too wide.

”Iʼll apologize to you a thousand times after Iʼm done. But for now…”

Extreme amounts of mischief could be observed in this moment, accompanied by a display of self-perceived victory.

Luminaraʼs eyes sharpened instantly. ”She prepared it beforehand!”

”Curses!” Mearie snapped, already shifting her weight forward.

They moved at the same time, bodies blurring as they stepped to place themselves in front of Quinlan.

But they were a fraction too late.

Lilyanna clicked two fingers together.

The sound was soft yet final.

Quinlan felt it before he saw anything change. Space folded around him without pressure or heat, as if the air had decided he belonged somewhere else. There was no flash. No surge. No warning spike of danger. One moment, he stood within the primordial realm; the next, he was wrapped in a presence that sealed over him like a closing hand.

He did not resist.

But, strangely… There was no panic in his heart. No rush of breath. His pulse kept a steady rhythm as the world slipped away.

ʼInteresting,ʼ he thought calmly.

The sensation was unlike any spell he had encountered. There was no mana flow, no structure he could latch onto and analyze. It felt closer to a rule being applied than an effect being cast. As if a decision had been made and reality had complied.

ʼCan this even be called a spell? Is this what a concept being used looks like?ʼ he mused with an eerie calm, turning analytical.

His perception turned inward by instinct, sweeping across layers of self and soul. The corrupt concept seed embedded deep within his soul realm stirred at once. It recoiled sharply, pulling in on itself and writhing strongly, despite Mimiʼs effort to calm it.

It looked ready to resist Lilyannaʼs presence, no matter what.

Quinlan raised an eyebrow at that and smirked.

But before he could pursue the thought further, familiar voices reached him.

”Quin?!”

”Quin, is everything okay?!”

He felt the link stabilize, the soul realm still intact. The girls stood within it, looking around with alarm as the shift registered.

”You should all be fine,” Quinlan replied evenly.

”But what about you?!” Seraphiel pressed with her long ears twitching. ”Is that bitch back?!” Vex demanded, already bristling.

”Not that one… This is another bitch,” Quinlan mused before adding in a conversational tone, ”The Goddess seems to have kidnapped me.”

”What?!” several voices shouted at once. The emotional spike washed against him through the bond. Anger. Alarm. The sharp edge of intent that followed whenever his wives sensed a threat to him.

Many looked ready to throw down with a literal god.

”Unacceptable!”

”She touched you?!”

”Iʼll kill her!”

Quinlan exhaled slowly.

”You do not need to worry,” he said, voice steady. ”She might hate me, but she will not harm any of you.”

”We are not worried about ourselves!” Ayame snapped back instantly. ”We are worried about your safety! What do you not understand, dummy?!”

Her foot stomped against the ground hard enough to crack stone.

The only response she received was the sound of Quinlanʼs quiet chuckle echoing across the soul realm.

It carried from nowhere and everywhere at once, detached from position, his presence stretched thin yet unbroken.

”I appreciate the concern, my loves, but let me concentrate for a moment. Mimi…”

”Yes, Scary Uncle?” the little blue-skinned girl gasped at being addressed.

”Letʼs try something.”
