Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1254: The Hunt Begins Now

Quinlan watched her go for a moment before shifting his gaze back to Seraphiel. ”Could you call the others?”

She lifted a delicate brow, and her tone turned teasing. ”You really think I didn’t already? The first thing I did when you opened your eyes was... well, kiss you,” she admitted with her cheeks turning faintly pink before adding, ”but right after that, I told everyone you were awake.”

He chuckled. ”How efficient.”

”... They should be here any moment.”

Quinlan reached out and rested a hand on her narrow waist, drawing her just a little closer as they walked. ”Then let’s go. I can’t wait to hear what you’ve all been up to.”

Seraphiel nodded, having a heart happy enough it could sing. The past two months had been trying, especially considering he’d been away for three months not too long ago due to the Primordial Rank-Up Mission in Zhenwu.

Together, they made their way toward the heart of the mansion, where the true work of the Primordial Villain’s return would begin.

...

The doors to the conference hall opened to a sight that melted even Quinlan’s composed exterior.

The moment his figure appeared, the air shifted as a ripple of relief and unrestrained joy hit him. One after another, the women who had already been waiting there exploded forward.

Vex was the first to reach him, her eyes bright and wet as she threw her arms around his neck. Her lips met his in a fervent kiss that carried every sleepless night she’d spent worrying. Quinlan brushed a hand along her back, grounding her until her trembling steadied.

”You’re napping too often and for too long...!” she pouted. ”What are you, a hibernating bear?”

Quinlan could only chuckle in response.

Then came Blossom, who practically shot herself into him like a bullet. She hugged him tightly, burying her face against his chest. Her tail swayed so rapidly it looked ready to lift her off the floor, and she inhaled deeply, over and over again, checking his scent to learn if anything had changed.

”Blossom...” Quinlan muttered, amused but also a bit touched. What kind of man would not feel great about his lover being so joyous to see him back on his feet?

”No!” came her muffled voice full of protest. ”Blossom is not letting go.”

Her grip only tightened. But not being a greedy enough girl to deny her best friends the joy of greeting Quinlan, she shifted so she stood behind him now, letting the others hug or kiss him to their hearts’ content - which was exactly what they did.

One after the other, the girls stepped up. Some chided him for being such a sleepy man, though jokingly, of course, while others just wanted to feel his firm arms around them.

Then his eyes found Ayame.

She stood still, poised as ever, yet her gaze trembled ever so slightly beneath his observant gaze. He stepped closer, drew her against him, and pressed her face into his chest. One hand slid over her hair as he leaned down and kissed the top of her head.

”How are you holding up?” he asked quietly.

Ayame hesitated before speaking. ”Still confused... Black Fang didn’t have the answers I was hoping for, considering how young she was when it happened... but I’ve decided not to dwell on it. The present matters more.”

Quinlan’s lips curved into a small smile. ”That’s my amazing samurai.”

He held her for a few more heartbeats, then pulled back to look around the room.

Nine women. Each of them was outright radiant. But more than that, they had changed in subtle but noticeable ways. Their postures were sharper, their eyes carried more weight, their presence stronger.

They hadn’t spent the last two months idling in the mansion and playing the roles of wealthy ladies; that much was clear. Their strength had grown, and their confidence along with it.

He could feel it in the air around them; the subtle shift of power, the quiet assurance that came from pushing limits and surviving the grind.

Quinlan took it all in. The power, the pride, the love. And as he did so, a slow, dangerous expression found his face.

His family had evolved.

And so would the world, now that he was awake.

”Tell me the news.”

The conference room carried with it a strong air of anticipation as the ten of them took their seats around the long, polished table. The walls were lined with maps and parchment notes, traces of recent campaigns and plans that had moved forward even in Quinlan’s absence.

Serika was the first to speak once everyone had settled. ”We’ve been doing our best to keep our personal growth up in your absence. We’ve continued hunting greenskins and other high-level monsters.”

Lucille’s voice sounded next. ”The nobles’ war with the Consortium hasn’t let up. The nobles have made progress, but the syndicate is still holding strong. Their adaptability’s been surprising. That said, the past two months have been brutal for them.”

Jasmine was happy to take over. ”The Consortium supply lines are bleeding, and several of their outposts fell to enemy raids.” Her fingers tapped idly on the table as she continued, ”Morgana and the Scarlet Lilies resumed their movements about three weeks ago. Fujimori changed tactics, too, fielding no more massive armies. They’re deploying only their elites now, relying on fast and efficient strikes instead of open war and giant sieges.”

Ayame nodded. ”And they’re not the only ones. Greenvale’s war machine slowly geared up until it reached full capacity recently. Alastair rallied an army of over two hundred thousand, and what’s more, apparently, he did so with specialized units trained in mana suppression. Their whole strategy seems centered on one goal.”

Her gaze flicked to Quinlan. ”Neutralizing your ability to deal with big numbers.”

Kitsara couldn’t help but laugh softly, the sound of which was bright and teasing. ”You’ve traumatized the world, Quin. Now everyone’s scrambling to invent a countermeasure.”

That earned a round of dark amusement from the table. Vex giggled openly. Serika smirked. Even Jasmine hid a big grin behind her hand.

”They’re pretty adorable. Stopping the walking primordial cheat code? They’re so naive it makes me want to laugh...” Seraphiel murmured with a cheeky grin.

”You can’t blame them for trying...” Vex mused with a similarly amused expression.

Quinlan listened quietly with his eyes scanning each of their faces in turn. The pride in his gaze was clear. He already knew it, but his girls were truly capable of thriving in his absence.

Finally, he leaned back in his chair. ”You’ve all done well. Now it’s time we take advantage of this situation, more so than ever before.”

Nine sets of eyes turned toward him.

”Do you plan to take to the battlefield?” Serika asked.

Quinlan’s expression shifted. The ease in his posture vanished, replaced by something colder, sharper. It was the kind of quiet danger that never needed to raise its voice to command fear.

Any enemy of his would’ve had their blood run cold at that look.

But to the nine women in the room, it was a sight they loved to see.

Because when Quinlan Elysiar was in control, the world itself tended to move. And when he was this confident in something, they knew it would shake everything in his path.

A soft knock interrupted the silence.

After being prompted, the doors opened, and two figures entered. Clarisse and Eira, both clad in their maid uniforms. They bowed low in unison, the elder of the two speaking first.

”You called for us, Master Quinlan?”

He nodded, then turned his attention back to his tanned, redheaded warrior whose fiery eyes glowed in anticipation.

”No battlefield just yet. But it’s finally time we make much better use of my Primordial Subjugator class... don’t you girls agree?”

The room fell silent.

Nine smiles answered him.

And that silence... was far more dangerous than any declaration of war.

Quinlan stood and declared,

”The hunt begins now.”
