Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 641: Cunning Fox

”I see… And you tried seducing me because?”

My question sent a jolt to travel across Kitsaraʼs spine as she visibly grimaced. ”I canʼt grow a second tail. Iʼm stuck in my growth…”

”Do you know what you need to do to gain a second tail, or are you just fumbling around blindly?”

”I believe I know. Iʼm level 29, my XP bar is at 155029/155029.”

So she was at the rank-up mission that needed to be completed to be allowed into the level 30s. Just like me, mortals also had to overcome their trials, just not in such a fancy manner as it was for me. They were not teleported away to a separate dimension, instead, they experienced something like my first trial, where I had to kill a set number of people and unlock the Primordial Villain class to be allowed into the level 10s.

”What are your requirements?”

Kitsara used her left hand to begin counting. She started by raising her thumb. ”Defeat a level 30 war troll in a fair duel. Iʼd done that.”

Next was her index finger. ”Fool ten thousand people with illusion magic, where they donʼt realize your identity even while interacting with you. Thatʼs also completed.”

Her middle finger also extended, ”Reach mastery over basic-tier illusion magic. Done.”

”All thatʼs left is…” Kitsara muttered while straightening her ring finger. ”Become worthy.”

”Thatʼs… vague,” I couldnʼt help but reply. This damned Soul Records. I see Iʼm not the only one being tormented by its strange requirements.

”Right…” she nodded along dejectedly. ”I believe I would become a worthy enough woman by managing to grow a second tail. However, even the foxkin donʼt know how to do that. There are a few Nine-Tailed Sorceresses out there, but to grow more tails, each has to do vastly different things. Thereʼs almost no correlation, it differs from one individual to the next. I tried gaining achievements as a warrior, as a mage, as an illusionist, as a strategist directing troops—Iʼm at my witʼs end.”

”So you tried to seduce me hoping to unlock your tails by gaining achievements as a seductress? Making a man with a harem of gorgeous babes cheat on his lovers right after meeting a new woman would be quite the accomplishment on her part.”

Kitsaraʼs eyes went wide as my words sunk in. A deep, crimson flush exploded across her face, spreading from her cheeks to the tips of her fox ears. Her mouth opened and closed uselessly, like a fish gasping for air, before she finally found her voice—only for it to come out as a high-pitched squeak.

”N-No, o-o-of course not!” she stammered while waving her hands frantically in front of her as if trying to physically push the idea away. ”I-I tried seducing you to make you take me along on your journeys once you leave this place!”

Huh? ”Why not just ask?”

Kitsaraʼs embarrassment lessened slightly as she whispered her response. ”A woman should submit to a man if she has to rely on him. Itʼs only fair to let you enjoy my body in exchange of the protection I would gain just by being in your proximity...”

She then glanced at me, and I noticed a strong hint of slyness in her features. ”By becoming your lover, I would not be a simple tagalong but someone you canʼt just throw away once push comes to shove. You would be a horrible man if you did that, and you would lose your other loversʼ trust. Thatʼs what my logic told me.”

”Would you look at this shameless woman?” I couldnʼt help but chuckle amusedly. ”I donʼt know how the foxkin didnʼt accept you into their midst, youʼre a cunning one. My adorable Pupcake is the complete opposite of you.”

”Pupcake? Donʼt compare me to someone with such a lame name…” Kitsara giggled alongside me once she ascertained my words werenʼt one of frustration or anger but mere amusement.

”That angel is my first woman and she likes that pet name so…”

”My lips are sealed!” she said while making an ʼXʼ with her two index fingers across her mouth.

Seeing no more strays would be sent Blossomʼs way, I moved on. ”Turning back to your previous statement, you believe going on an adventure with me would unlock your next tail?”

My question was answered with a firm, resolute nod of her head. ”Iʼm done with the Beastman Confederation. Itʼs a wonderful country but it has massive problems… Do you know why beastkin donʼt dominate the continent?”

”I have my theory but go ahead, tell me.”

”Each three-nation has their own distinct advantages, but also their drawbacks. Father says humans are great generalists but donʼt excel at any one thing, theyʼre lacking the ʼpunchʼ needed to dominate. Dwarves are short and theyʼre much better at creation than combat. They make great tanks, but other than that, theyʼre lacking combatants.

Elves have weak males, so much so that not only can they not level up, but their seed is of low potential as well. On average, humans and dwarves need to do the deed only a couple of times for the woman to get pregnant, but for elves… Theyʼre lucky if after doing the deed a hundred times the seed manages to fertilize the eggs. If that wasnʼt bad enough, elven males have such low testosterone levels they struggle to get it up more than once a week and the stuff they ejaculate is of horribly low quality… So they struggle to birth a large population.”

God damn.

Malakar truly cucked the elven race by murdering the first male elf. Considering Luminara doesnʼt seem to harbor resentment, that dude mustʼve been a massive asshole. Ṙ𝘢ＮȏＢΕs

Furthermore, Iʼm starting to understand why many elf women become lesbians. This is just pathetic. Unlike in books back on Earth regarding fantasy worlds, elves canʼt get pregnant by human males or by any other species, making it all a giant struggle.

”Beastkin are great at reproduction. Males are active in that area and produce strong seed, while females are very fertile. Weʼre so good at it dogkin women birth over ten children on average. Then how come we donʼt rule the continent?”

”Infighting,” I said. It wasnʼt hard to reach this result.

”Indeed,” Kitsara nodded. ”Each beastkin species hates others besides the ones that bend the knee, such as the rabbitkin being vassals of the bearkin. Beastkin have been killing each other since time immemorial. Thanks to the lionkinʼs overwhelming dominance, we put our differences aside for the time being, but even now, tensions are high.”

”I could see that. Apexes refused to work together with others in the resistance army.”

”Yes. This is also why weʼre training archers of dogkin and foxkin. As non-apexes, we donʼt have a giant ego thatʼs the size of the sun. We accept being supports if we must. If you told a wolfkin to grab a bow and shoot at his enemies from a distance, he would immediately challenge you to a duel for daring to dishonor him.”

”So thatʼs how it is. Thanks for the explanation.”

”Youʼre welcome,” Kitsara said with a beautiful smile. ”I donʼt believe this nation is the place where I can grow to my full potential. For that matter, I donʼt believe I can grow to my fullest potential in any one nation.”

She parted her two arms wide apart as her eyes sparkled with excitement. ”I want to see the world! I want to explore the unknown, make amazing discoveries, and meet new people. How can I call myself worthy of nine tails when I never interacted with other races beforehand? Youʼre the first human I spoke with, and my dumb brain automatically assumed you could smell my scent, despite my understanding full well you canʼt.”

”Inexperience, huh? Thatʼs one way to interpret worthiness. But why me? You know Iʼm a human and youʼd be in constant danger in the Vraven Kingdom, right? Beastkin are outlaws by default, after all.”
