Dragon-Marked War God

Chapter 125 – Hanged up and beaten

The conflict had actually dragged in an inner circle disciple, this surprised many people. However, what was even more surprising was Jiang Chen’s reaction. Because, after hearing about Cai Dong, not only did he not show any signs of wanting the conflict to end, he actually wanted to settle the score with Cai Dong.

A Mortal Core outer circle disciple dared to act against a Heavenly Core inner circle disciple, this was the first time. And, amongst all the outer circle disciples, only Jiang Chen dared to do this.

“Senior disciple Jiang, we were told to do this, and we know we have made a big mistake! Please forgive us!”

Guo Lei tried asking for forgiveness. In his mind, he wished that Jiang Chen could be killed now. However, he was being held for ransom right now, therefore, he could only beg for forgiveness.

“A big mistake? With this, you are asking for forgiveness? What about Wang Yun and Huang Zhen who were badly wounded by you and are now laying on beds? I will ask Cai Dong to pay back the Mortal Restoration Pills, and as for you lot, I’ll let you pay back for what you’ve done to Wang Yun and Huang Zheng now.”

Jiang Chen said in a stiff manner, “But, before we do this, hand over every single Mortal Restoration Pill you have now, they will serve as compensation.”

Hearing what Jiang Chen said, Guo Lei and the other three men who had just seen some hope immediately had their faces darken. It looked like Jiang Chen was not going to let this matter end easily. The four of them felt chills ran down their spines when they recalled how Wang Yun and Huang Zheng were wounded.

“Hurry, senior disciple Jiang is asking you to take out all your Mortal Restoration Pills, are you guys deaf?!”

A disciple shouted at them.

“That’s right, take out everything you got! Those Mortal Restoration Pills belong to us, take out everything you took from us!”

Those disciples who were bullied by Guo Lei had now found their backup, it was time for their revenge. They would not miss any opportunity to hit them back.

“Fine, we’ll take them out now, we’ll take them out now!”

These three disciples were completely scared, their lives were at risk now. Mortal Restoration Pills were not going to keep them safe. They reached for their storage bags and hurriedly took out all Mortal Restoration Pills.

“And you, Guo Lei, hand me everything you got. If you dare keep even a single pill with you, I’ll ask Big Yellow to give you some nice treatment!”

Jiang Chen said with a sneer. His words caused Guo Lei to tremble. Without any hesitation, he hurriedly took out all of his belongings.

“Senior disciple Jiang, here are 9,000 Mortal Restoration Pills.”

A disciple counted all the Mortal Restoration Pills and told Jiang Chen.

“Damn it, 9,000 Mortal Restoration Pills, this Guo Lei is filthy rich!”

Some of the outer circle disciple who were standing aside couldn’t help but curse. Mortal Restoration Pills were their life, they all consumed a lot of them during cultivation, and therefore, most of them did not have a huge stockpile. However, these four guys had a total of 9,000 Mortal Restoration Pills, and Guo Lei himself contributed 5,000. It looked like all their wealth came from bullying other outer circle disciples.

“Share it with all our brothers.”

Jiang Chen said calmly, this amount of Mortal Restoration Pills meant nothing to him.

“Senior disciple Jiang, we have given all our Mortal Restoration Pills to you, please let us go!”

A disciple begged.

“Let you go? We’re just about to settle the score for Wang Yun and Huang Zheng. All four of you did beat them up, right?”

An insidious smile appeared on Jiang Chen’s face.

All four of them kept silent, they couldn’t deny that since there were so many disciple on the spot. That day, it was Guo Lei who had beaten Wang Yun, while the other three had assaulted Huang Zheng.

“So, I assume you admit to that. Today, let me teach you a lesson! I, and your father’s men, are not someone you can touch! Those who dares do so will have to pay back double!”

After speaking, Jiang Chen struck out forcefully with his leg.

Crack!

The leg landed right onto Guo Lei’s face. Jiang Chen barely held back, so the powerful kick sent Guo Lei flying more than ten meters. With a face full of blood and a broken nose, he screamed out in pain.

Swoosh!

Jiang Chen moved again and came in front of Guo Lei. He bent down and grabbed Guo Lei’s shoulder, then he pulled him up like a chicken. The way Wang Yun and Huang Zheng had been wounded had pissed him off, he wanted to personally bring them justice.

“No, don’t!”

Guo Lei was extremely scared. He was waiting for Cai Dong to come here and rescue him, he hadn’t expected Jiang Chen to not even give him that chance, and started beating him up immediately.

Crack! Ahh…….

Guo Lei screamed even louder as Jiang Chen twisted one of his arms with a huge amount of force, breaking it and making it hang behind his back.

Ignoring all fearful eyes around, Jiang Chen grabbed another one of Guo Lei’s arms and broke it. In just the blink of an eye, Jiang Chen had crippled the man. A ferocious and cruel approach.

“Heavens, this is brutal! This approach, it sends chills down my spine!”

“Compared to senior disciple Han, I think he is more deserving of the Little Devil King name! Guo Lei has offended someone he absolutely shouldn’t have!”

“He is gone this time.”

…………

Everyone were immersed in deep shock, and their faces were filled with fear. Guo Lei with both arms broken and with blood dripping all over his face was absolutely terrifying to look at.

“Guys!”

Jiang Chen shouted toward the crowds.

“Yes!”

Three outer circle disciples respectfully stepped forward.

“Go get me a wooden pole, hang them up and beat them.”

Jiang Chen kicked Guo Lei once again, making him fall down onto the ground, then he stepped on his face in an extremely tyrannical manner. Jiang Chen never showed any mercy when dealing with his enemies, some mistakes required you to pay back seriously. Guo Lei had been acting together with those guys from the inner circle who wanted to kill him, and in Jiang Chen’s mind, he had already sentenced Guo Lei to death. If it wasn’t for the fact that they were currently in the Black Sect, Guo Lei would have been dead long ago.

“Understood.”

The three disciples turned around and left. Jiang Chen’s wish was their order.

Swoosh!

Jiang Chen turned his vision onto the other three guys. These three fellows immediately gasped and started kowtowing. They were scared to death, as they had never met anyone so ferocious and brutal.

“Senior disciple Jiang, please spare our lives, spare us!”

The trio kept asking for forgiveness, all of their arrogance was completely gone.

“Senior disciple Jiang, don’t let them go, they are just three bastards! Not only did they bully us, they even seriously beat up senior disciple Huang!”

Someone shouted out in anger. Everyone wished to tear apart this trio when recalling their arrogant faces two days ago.

“Everyone, beat them until they die, I’ll bear the responsibility!”

Jiang Chen was a fierce man. There was nothing in this world he was scared of, there was no one he didn’t dare to kill. These few disciples were just like ants to him, and when they offended him, there was no way he would forgive them.

“Beat them!”

“Let’s get revenge for Huang Zheng, beat them until they die!”

After receiving orders from Jiang Chen, dozens of disciples poured in and started beating the trio.

Bam bam bam…..

Ahh ahhh ahhhh…..

“Fuck, kill them!”

“Damn it, trying to be bossy and bully us, let’s kill them!”

“Senior disciple Jiang said he will bear the responsibility if they die!”

…………

The courtyard was burning on one side, and here was a messy one-sided fight. For Guo Lei and the other three disciples, today was the darkest day of their lives.

Miserable, this was really miserable.

Those outer circle disciples who were watching from the sidelines were all frightened. Finally, they had witnessed Jiang Chen’s aggressiveness. Although they were scared, no one really felt sorry for these guys, some of them even felt satisfaction in their minds.

Not long after, the trio had been seriously beaten. Their faces were already swollen and wounded, and they were bleeding all over. They kept struggling and crying on the floor, but these injuries were nothing for a Mortal Core warrior.

Right at this moment, the three disciples who had left earlier came back. One of them carried a 7 meter tall wooden pole, another one carried a pike in his hand, and the last disciple carried some ropes in his hand. Then, they placed the wooden pole so that it stood straight up from the ground.

“Senior disciple Jiang, the wooden pole is here.”

The disciple said with a satisfied expression.

“Hang them up and beat them, don’t stop until they are dead.”

Jiang Chen shouted out loudly. The ‘don’t stop until they are dead’ part had completely scared Guo Lei and the others. Now, they felt extreme regret over what they had done. They knew that Jiang Chen was not a guy they could easily mess with, but they had never expected he would be so brutal. It looked like he really wanted to beat them until death took them away.

The other disciples didn’t care so much. They had now become totally submissive to Jiang Chen. Whatever Jiang Chen asked, they would do. They tied up the four guys together and hung them high up on the wooden pole, as if they were some dead pigs. All four of them were bleeding all over, and they looked miserable.

“Give me that.”

Jiang Chen grabbed the long pike, then he started beating them like they were dead meat. It was a horrifying scene to watch.

“Beat them, and don’t stop until they are dead.”

A few disciples took out some long pikes and started beating Guo Lei and the other three. As long as Jiang Chen was there, they would never fear things going out of control.

“Stop there!”

Right at this moment, an angry shout came from afar, and then, everyone saw an old man in his fifties flying over and landing in the square. When the old man saw the four men hanging from the wooden pole, and the burnt down courtyards, he immediately became extremely furious.

“It is Sect Elder Lee! Damn, this really went out of control; even Sect Elder Lee came.”

“Sect Elder Lee is an outer circle Sect Elder, but those elders rarely care about the conflicts amongst disciples, so why is he here today?”

Many disciples recognized the old man, as one of the Sect Elders in charge of the outer circle, he was known by everyone.

“Bastards, what are you all doing? Hurting and killing your own fellow disciples? Who set fire to the courtyard? Stand out right now!”

Sect Elder Lee scolded with a loud voice. When Guo Lei and the other three disciples saw him, they couldn’t help but cry tears of joy. Finally, their savior was here, now they could escape from this hell. No matter how aggressive Jiang Chen was, he would not offend a Sect Elder.

“Senior disciple Jiang, his name is Li Hui, Sect Elder of the outer circle. He is a person of high status, we can’t afford to offend him.”

A disciple walked up to Jiang Chen and whispered to him.

“So, an outer circle Sect Elder.”

Jiang Chen went blank for a second, then he said, “Don’t stop, keep beating them.”

Jiang Chen’s words almost made the people start fainting. How far could this guy really go? This was the Sect Elder, and he still asked them to keep beating, even underneath the presence of a Sect Elder. He simply wouldn’t give a damn about anyone, he was so brutal.

“You, so you are that Jiang Chen. Now, Sect Elder ordered you to immediately stop, explain what’s going on here to me.”

Li Hui was boiling in anger. He had never seen such an arrogant disciple in the outer circle, not until today.
