The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1051: Chapter 1051: Please Savor Alone

Sister was smiling as she picked up a bite of natto with her chopsticks and put it in her mouth, seemingly very captivated by the sticky texture, ”In our country, there’s another type of natto called salted natto, which is made by fermenting with aspergillus, similar to Hua Country’s aspergillus-type douchi.”

Little Taotie and Xiao Lingzhi exchanged glances. Little Taotie mulled it over for a long time before hesitantly saying, ”Fish head with douchi, I think I’ve had that before.”

Xiao Lingzhi furrowed his brow, ”I think I’ve seen my grandpa eating it before, he said it’s spicy and wouldn’t let me taste it.”

Sister laughed, ”A friend from Hua Country once brought me a bottle of spicy sauce, and it had watery douchi in it, it was delicious! Douchi is made from soybeans or black beans, fermented with molds or bacteria.”

Little Jinzi had already finished stirring, creating stretchy strands, and while the three were chatting, Little Jinzi had already started eating!

With one chopstick-full, came a big cluster of stringy natto, and though she intended to try just one piece of natto, Little Jinzi decided to take on the challenge of a big bite!

The taste indeed wasn’t pleasant, she held her breath, opened her mouth wide, ”Aah—ugh!”

A loud ”ugh!” echoed!

The three who were chatting about Hua Country douchi all turned their gazes toward Little Jinzi, seeing her with a pale face, looking like her soul had left her body, her eyes filled with dismay.

Little Taotie pressed her lips together, struggling to hold back laughter, but Little Dimple slightly sunk down, giving her away.

Little Jinzi, sharp-eyed and huffy, said, ”You said this was a delicacy!”

Little Jinzi seriously suspected Sister Little Taotie was tricking her, deliberately teasing her!

Little Taotie blinked, and this time she couldn’t hold it in, covering her mouth and giggling ”hee hee.”

Next to her, Xiao Lingzhi was managing to hold it back, but seeing Little Taotie laugh, he couldn’t suppress it either and joined in ”hee hee hee”...

Little Jinzi stomped in anger, ”Alright! You’re all ganging up on me!”

Sister saw the three little cubs starting to quarrel, and hurried to mediate, explaining, ”She wasn’t lying, this is indeed a delicacy in our country. Those who love it are like they’re addicted, wanting some natto with every meal, while those who don’t even want to smell it, and will gag upon tasting it.”

”I fear it just by looking at it now!” Little Jinzi pushed the natto away, retreating step by step, back back back...

Sister took a box of white rice, heated it up, poured the natto over it, trying to persuade Little Jinzi to give it another try.

Little Jinzi continued to back back back...

Seeing that she had retreated all the way to the convenience store’s door, Sister looked helplessly towards Little Taotie and Xiao Lingzhi.

Little Taotie instinctively stepped back.

Even a candy with natto flavor made her gag, let alone real natto, she couldn’t handle it!

Seeing the little girl’s full resistance, Sister then looked at Xiao Lingzhi.

Xiao Lingzhi had a teasing smile at Little Jinzi’s expense, but now his smile froze, and he promptly shook his head.

Both Little Taotie and Little Jinzi are little foodies who generally accept all kinds of food, and even they were afraid of this natto, there was no way he could accept it!

Seeing that none of them wanted to eat it, Sister was truly disappointed, since this was a very special delicacy from her own country, she also hoped more people would come to like it.

Sister tried to continue persuading them, touting the benefits, ”Natto is rich in nutrients, not only does it retain the nutritional value of soybeans, it’s rich in vitamin K2, enhances protein digestion and absorption, and most importantly, the fermentation process produces various bioactive substances that have health benefits like dissolving fibrin in the body and regulating physiological functions!”

The three little cubs stared at her blankly, because at this moment, Sister was reading from her phone.

She was so earnest, as if she was determined to convince them.

The three little ones were terrified internally.

The typically gentle and cute Sister at this moment seemed to have transformed into a witch master stirring a devil’s cauldron in their eyes!

Little Jinzi trembled, her look: Let’s... let’s run away!

Sister continued reading, ”It can promote digestive health, prevent constipation and diarrhea, comprehensively improve the body’s immunity! Prevent thrombosis, prevent infections, alleviate allergies, detoxify and fight bacteria...”

The three little cubs exchanged glances, nodded, and then slowly, quietly started scooting away...

By the time Sister finished reading and put down her phone, the three little cubs were already nowhere to be found!

Sister chuckled and shook her head helplessly, left to enjoy the joy of natto on her own.
