Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1919: Fast Paced Disaster

Sam kept on drawing the inscriptions without any break.

The natural state of this place, gave him a lot of leeway. He doesnʼt know exactly which god is going to come, but the attacks are definitely going to be related to the winds. And the Winged city is built in a way to defend against the winds.

So, he can just reinforce that more with his own unique tricks and then deal with the rest of the stuff spontaneously.

While Sam is doing that, the rest of them team just finished the task he assigned them.

When they heard Samʼs instructions from Sandhya, they all became curious about what Sam did. Even though they knew better, they couldnʼt stop their curiosity and arrived at the wings.

They didnʼt disturb Sam, they just stood far away and tried to use the senses to see what Sam is actually doing on those wings.

They were stunned by the scale of inscriptions that Sam is drawing on them. They never saw such a large inscription job before. The masters who came to take a look, immediately took a seat there and started taking some notes.

This felt like a masterclass for them.

Sam didnʼt care what anyone thought or if anyone saw. He just focused on finishing that marvelous task and he didnʼt dare waste any time or energy.

After he was done, there is only a couple of hours left for the disaster time.

Sam hurriedly meditated and used the liquid energy capsules so that he could recover as fast as he can. By the time he reached the full energy level, it is only a couple of minutes for the disaster time.

The young masters, soldiers and others are full of anticipation.

Even though they are slightly nervous, they are definitely not as nervous as before. Sam managed to tackle three disasters and all these disasters were defeated without a single person dying.

So, they are more excited than nervous this time.

Of course, it couldnʼt be said for the citizens of the Winged City.

As the time passed, the wind currents that are brushing around the cityʼs formation started becoming stronger. Due to the constant contact between the currents and the formations, the formation stayed continuously active as it glowed consistently.

Sam stood in the middle of the city as he just took a look at the formation.

Right now, there is no lasting damage and everything looked perfectly fine.

But to Samʼs surprise the speed of the wind increased at an incredible pace. Unlike the previous disaster where Artemis took her time and tried to drag it out, the current disaster moved faster.

Sam watched as the glow of the formation increased at a certain areas. Those are the areas where the wind current and the formation are in a higher level of contact.

He closed his eyes and connected to the formation to check the exact situation outside.

The wind currents are moving at such a pace that the whole current like a massive wind blade and it is brushing against not just the formation, but also at the mountain walls on the other side of the currents.

The current is sharp enough to create the new marks on the smooth surface of the mountain walls.

As if that is not enough, Sam saw something else. He could see that the concentration of the wind elemental energy is very high within the currents and it is the highest at the points of contact on both of the formations and the mountains.

And from those points, the wind is manifesting physically created a humanoid figure. The figure is purely made of concentrated wind and it is visible to the naked eye because of the concentrated elemental energy within it.

These humanoid figures grew wings and they flew out of the wind currents. They clashed against the formation at different parts of the formation.

*BOOM*

Explosive sounds of the clash reverberated throughout the city and with every impact, there is a glowing patch on the formation at the point of contact.

This formation is different from the rest.

Everytime there is something trying to hurt this formation, it is showing a reaction unlike the ones from the previous disasters and there is a reason for that.

The design of this formation is a bit more special than the rest of the disasters.

Sam just watched as these winged humanoids hit the formation one after another. But after every attack, they were destroyed.

There is a certain backlash from the formation that sent them away and destroyed them.

The onslaught continued and within the next five minutes, they saw much bigger winged humanoid forms attacking the formation and this time, they are using some ranged attacks instead of just colliding against the formations directly.

The humanoid figures just attacked the formation with massive wind cannons, wind blades and there are even a bunch of tornados that were redirected and controlled to attack at a single point.

Sam frowned at the pace the whole thing is developing.

The first disaster lasted for a couple of hours before Sam managed to destroy Poseidonʼs form. The second disaster is more or less the same. The third disaster on the other hand almost lasted for a whole day.

But now this one is pacing very fast that he doubted it would last for an hour at this rate.

And his doubts are not unfounded. Because just after a few more minutes of these humanoids attacking, even before Sam could deploy his own forces to eliminate them, he sensed a massive fluctuation of energy from far away.

It is coming from behind the wing mountains. Sam looked at that area and noticed that there is a larger humanoid figure standing there with wings on his back.

It is the god figure and he appeared quicker than Sam thought.

The god had a staff in his hands and he waved it leisurely.

The wind currents that are already dangerous beyond their belief amplified with just that single wave of the staff. This amplified current took the form of a bird and made its way to the winged mountains.

The god is trying to destroy the winged mountains as long as they are destroyed, the Winged city is done for.

The currents would be good enough to destroy the city, the god wouldnʼt even have to do anything.

Everyone in the city can understand this concept, but Sam just smiled without doing anything. Sandhya was worried. She knew that Sam had many tricks up his sleeves, but this is not something she could take lightly.

She became anxious and almost wanted to go ahead and urge Sam to do something. Just when she managed to mentally convince herself to do it, the winged mountains started glowing. The crystalline glow came from the inscriptions that Sam made on the mountain surface.

When the bird tackled the mountain, instead of a loud explosive clash, there is a much brighter glow that covered the whole city before a bird silhouette purely made out of the wind elemental energy popped out of the mountains.

This bird figure is different from the one that clashed against the mountains. This figure was shot towards the humanoid figures around the formation and it destroyed a few of these figures before disappearing with the wind currents.

The god on the other side was stunned.

He didnʼt expect such a turn of events. He indeed thought of finishing this quickly as he is very busy himself. He also took the consideration of this unique layout around the city and wanted to take advantage of it.

But to his dismay Samʼs presence made it much more troublesome than it has to be. And he knew that this might be the possibility and prepared accordingly. But from the way, things turned out, he is very sure that his preparations might not be sufficient.

He waved his staff a few more times and a few more birds appeared within the wind currents.

They all clashed against the wings just like that and they disappeared along with that glow.

Sam sat there crosslegged as he focused all of his attention on the inscriptions.

This time, when the birds formed, two of them were redirected to dealing with humanoid figures on the formation while the third one was actually sent to attack the God himself.

The bird flew against the current, but for some reason, its energy didnʼt deplete in the slightest. And of course the main reason is, Sam is the one controlling the birds, that is why.

The god waved his staff and struck the bird making it disappear.

He gritted his teeth and looked at the Winged Mountains.

”Letʼs see how long you can hold up.”

He started walking forward while throwing more and more birds at the mountains.

Wind energy circulated around Sam who is in a meditative state while controlling the inscriptions on the mountain surface.

”Come fast. I will kill from right here and leave this city soon.”
