Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1505: Thunder eagle set

The commander stayed in the city for the whole day, but he couldnʼt find anything that caught his eye.

Now he is in the dilemma of going into the sea and investigating it.

While the things on the trioʼs side are going smoothly…

At Gaja clanʼs city.

The cityʼs crystal dome has been active for the past few days. Since the time the Energy crackers made an appearance, not a single moment has passed without the crystal dome formation protecting the city.

After some more futile efforts, Gail and Gamin figured out that the shooter who is attacking them with an Energy cracker is actually using spatial transference to change locations which is the reason they were not able to narrow him down as they initially thought he is moving normally.

But after they figured that out, it became easy and they finally managed to catch up with him.

Of course, as soon as he caught a glimpse of them, the shooter immediately forsook all of the equipment and directly used his escape tactics.

Even then Gail took off a leg from that guy and he brought back the shooter that was already loaded with a cracker.

From that point, Sam started examining the cracker a bit and came to a conclusion.

”They canʼt make too many of them. We donʼt need to worry too much.”

That is what he said to Gail who was relieved, but also confused.

”Why canʼt they make too many of them?”

”Imagine if you are forging something in the flames and for you to quench it, you will need all the water in the sea, would you still do it?”

”Of course not. Who in the right mind will do it?”

”Currently, Sivan is doing such a thing with the crackers. Even if the seawater is free for him to use, it is still a lot of time and effort just for the quenching.

Just like that, even if the crackers are useful and dangerous, he needs way too many things and way too many and way too many things to make them.

We donʼt have to worry about it. They are going to be occasional threats and I will be able to figure out something that could handle them. I am already halfway through anyway.”

”That is good news. A great start to the day.”

That is what Gail said and later that morning, he realized that he jinxed himself.

Because that is the day, Sivan got free reign over the war situation with the Gaja clan. At the time the leader of the Mari clan wanted to divert Sivanʼs attention with the Gaja clan as a toy.

Hundreds of undead are unleashed on the Gaja clan as they constantly hit the formation constantly.

They are solely targeting the Crystal dome and all of them are equipped with some kind of cursed weapons.

Even when they are being destroyed, their remains are laying down curses on the land. When Gail saw the whole scene, he felt disgusted.

The undead bodies are a bit different from normal.

There is a black liquid constantly coming out of them and this black liquid has a bunch of disgusting curses injected into it.

He could imagine what would happen if a normal person enters the field even after all the undead are cleared.

They would be subjected to hundreds of curses and die a terrible death.

And even for that to happen, they will need to clear the undead first.

But they are coming constantly. They are never-ending.

Gail almost wanted to go out himself and destroy all of them, but Sam stopped him from doing that.

”There are some advantages of random curses in a land.”

”But those advantages wouldnʼt stand if every soldier that goes out there later suffers from a curse on their ass.”

”Why do you think I am here? I can make sure that doesnʼt happen. You just donʼt worry about the undead creatures. They can come.”

”But isnʼt it damaging the formation a lot?”

”No, it is not. Luckily since we are taking the energy from the spiritual veins that have been mostly dormant over the years, it is good enough.”

So, Sam finally managed to convince Gail that there is no need for extreme measures when they are dealing with these undead creatures.

But that changed soon enough.

*BAM*

Particularly when they heard the lightning strikes that came from the top and hit the crystal dome at the topmost point.

Sam and Gail frowned as they looked at the blue-purple lightning hit the head of the dome and the dome fluctuated.

Both of them went on to a higher vantage point to get a better view and the lightning kept on striking one after another.

The formation fluctuated a lot and some of the undead creatures that were blocked by it managed to slip in because of this.

The soldiers at the start were caught off guard, but soon recovered and killed the undead before the formation went back to its original state.

Both Sam and Gail are extremely frustrated as they looked at the top of the dome.

Sam in particular had a bad premonition about this as he muttered something to himself.

And when the clouds were cleared, he couldnʼt help but curse out loud.

”FUCK.”

Gail frowned when he looked at Sam who was usually calm cursed out like that.

There are a few people hovering in the air with some kind of weird armours surrounding them. They are all in a formation and lightning strands connected them together as they glided with some wings in that certain formation.

Some bird puppets that have lightning elements coursing through them also moved along with them.

They are all in lightning formation.

Gail frowned as he recognized some of the faces.

”They are mostly Astral Plane Consummate cultivators in the Initial stage. How are they able to do this?”

He asked out loud.

”The thunder eagle set.”

Sam said with gritted teeth.

”The thunder eagle set?”

”Yes. I didnʼt think Sivan would be able to do it. He really does have some seriously skilled people under him. People that are more skilled than the Giyonʼs subordinates and the Gaja clanʼs artisan department.

How did he even find people like that?”

”We can think about it after I bring them down.”

Gail said and was about to jump upwards, but Sam stopped him.

”There is no use.”

As soon as he said that, the people in the formation in the sky made their move. All of them went through the fusion process and clashed together as if they became one big lightning entity.

And they streaked at that same lightning speed and moved far away as they reappeared in the sky a few miles away.

Gail was surprised.

”What the fuck is that?”

”The thunder eagle set. A set that I thought for a special destruction squad.

This is one of my better creations. It works wonders when the users are really skilled at manipulating lightning and can work together.”

”That I can see. But how does it work? How can we defeat that?”

”The thunder eagle set consists of exoskeletons that would help these people glide in the air individually, but with their lightning fusion and connection they could get as a set, they can glide and hover for much longer than normal.

And with the skeletons and puppets completely active, there is a set of formations that I designed that will rain down lightning on their targets in different ways.

The one you saw is the regular lightning strike that hits on one point.

But that is not all.

They have another technique that makes them more annoying than their ability to attack from the sky.

That is their escaping.

The thunder eagle set comes with some extra special puppets that they can place at many spots in the surroundings and when they use their escape technique, all of them should be in their fusion forms and are fused together like a single streak of lightning.

They have real and legitimate lightning speed.

They move from their starting spot to that puppetʼs location and reappear there.

It is hard even for you to directly catch them when they use that technique.”

”What kind of thought process did you go through when making this? How is that even possible? Merging people in fusion forms to make them act like a single streak of lightning?

Is that even a proper thought?”

”Apparently it is, as you can see for yourself. It worked. I am pretty sure, even you would have trouble catching them with that. Do you disagree?”

Gail didnʼt even have an answer for that.

”As for the thought process, there is not really much. I donʼt think of the outcome first and then make these things. I am just a creator who thinks of all of the possibilities that could be drawn from a set of resources.

And then I will find a way to use all of those outcomes effectively. That is how these are created.

It is just that, I am cursed.”
