Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1486 - Sivanʼs Change

Within the Divine league.

The Godfather is looking at all of his subordinates with disdain and anger.

”How did it fail? More than twenty Peak stage cultivators and they were unable to kill two peak stage cultivators? Is that even a plausible thing?”

”It is Gamin, anything could have been plausible. And the group is not really gelled together. Because of your immediate orders, the subordinates used all kinds of tactics that they could pull off to make these people come together.

It is completely based on mistrust, blackmail and coercion. It is impossible for them to work side by side and just defeat the Gaja clan.”

”The number difference is overwhelming. Donʼt tell me that the strength of the Grey circle members of clans and organizations increased to such a level in my absence of few years.”

The young man who had a resemblance to the Godfather and sat on the right side of the table coughed a bit and said.

”Godfather, can we have some alone time? I would like to explain something to you.”

The old man gestured for everyone to leave and the young man finally looked a bit more unrestrained as he spoke.

”Father, you are spending too much time on the other side and you donʼt know many things. So, please keep an open mind and listen to me.”

”Go on.”

”First of all, you did a big mistake by sending all of those people to the Gaja clan to die. It is not really a good thing and it is definitely not an intelligent thing.

But I let you be since you were in no mood for listening last time.

But now, I cannot let you be.

You might make a wrong decision again.

In the past few years, the situation in the realms changed. The clans and organizations started producing powerhouses. The divine league and the grey circle are not long enough to keep them at bay.

Among them all, the Mari clan and Gaja clan are on top of the whole ecosystem. In fact, they might be within the strongest bunch of all the realms combined.

It was already bad enough for us to steal kids from that place, so we plotted something big and took advantage of other organizationsʼ greed.

But it backfired big time.

Now, before we could think of a plan, you gave us this nonsensical order, but since I also wanted to see how the Gaja clan is doing, I let you proceed.

Now that I have an idea, let me tell you this.

Gaja clan cannot be dealt with by any of our original and ordinary means.

Apart from that, there is a new variable in place.

This variable made, half of the army lose even before they crossed the city wall.”

He took out a document with Samʼs details in it.

”He managed to find means to compensate Gaja clanʼs lack of numbers. He levelled the playing field for not just the low-level cultivators, but he also made it hard for the high-level cultivators to purely focus on their own fights.

He is also the one that sabotaged Flitʼs success in taking those children away.”

Godfather frowned and looked through the documents. He frowned more and more and finally said.

”Someone stole his body?”

”Yes, Mari Clanʼs young master Sivan did that. We donʼt know how he did that and how he succeeded. The only thing we know is that Sivan managed to acquire all of Samʼs memories.

I donʼt know how big of a variable he is going to be in future, but he is someone we need to keep our eyes on.”

”Why didnʼt you give me all of those details from the start?”

”Were you in a mood to understand all of this? I heard from your subordinate. You came back only because you wanted to keep a sense of authority. You are here so that you can throw your authority left and right and make us do stuff.

So, I proceeded with it.

Now that it was done and your craving is satisfied, then I am presenting you with this.

Please donʼt make any more stupid decisions. We need to be careful in dealing with this.”

”So, how do you suggest we proceed further.”

”I will make contact with Sivan. Samʼs tricks and techniques are one of the huge hindrances and from what I inquired, they are hard to crack. He tends to put some kind of backup plans within the already complicated settings for some possible scenarios.

So, we need to find someone who understands Sam enough so that we can crack it.

Anyway, from the looks of it, the technology and research behind it all are already worth a lot.”

”You said a kid from the Mari clan has taken his body, so he must also have memories. Arrange a meeting with them. I want to talk to the kid.”

”I am also thinking of suggesting that. That is indeed a great decision to make. I will arrange a meeting. Get ready to go to the Mari clan. We will leave in the afternoon.”

Godfather nodded and looked at his son who left. But as soon as he left, his smile changed a bit and he muttered.

”My son. My son. I will see how long you would be able to play this game.”

Meanwhile.

In the Mari clan.

Sivan also received a report of the whole battle that occurred. He looked at the report and sneered.

”Who told the clanʼs leader to send these people to the war? I want to meet him. Take an appointment. Didnʼt we already tell him not to send any grand elders and save them from Gail and others?

Do we need people when I launch the attack on the Gaja clan? Do they even want to win this? Or do they just want to send all of the grand elders to death before I could even finish my plan?”

”Young master. The clanʼs leader is in no situation to meet you now.

The grand elder that went there also went secretly. They didnʼt actually send that grand elder to war. The clanʼs leader kept them on the hook and our grand elder should be escaping while they are marching.

But to get his own benefits, he went into the fight.”

”That old dumb fucking idiot. I donʼt care. Tell the clanʼs leader that I have something important to talk about.

Tell him that the whole war would be stopped and the whole plan would fail if this is not resolved. I need that fucking appointment no matter what. Even use my fatherʼs name if you want to.

He would be of some fucking use.”

The attendant went and came back after half an hour.

”Young master. The clanʼs leader rejected the appointment. It was not even considered for a second. As for using your fatherʼs name, he himself is present in person and rejected it.

There is no chance for us to get an appointment today. It seems like the whole clan is shaken by the new methods the Gaja clan is using.”

”Then shouldnʼt I be the first person they should be consulting? I am the only one who understands Sam here and that bastard is the one that made these new means. Are they fucking dumb? Did their brains die of old age?”

”Young master, please donʼt be agitated. Things would only get worse if you act impulsively.”

”Of course, they would only get worse. Not for me. But for them. Tell all of my artisans to stop the production. Bring them out and tell them to stay within my clanʼs quarters.

Stop sending all of the enhanced armours and weapons. The ghost chimaeras too. Donʼt let a single product go out.”

Sivan said proudly. He had a smug look on his face.

He has nothing to lose in this in short term.

The clan is the one benefitting the most from this exchange. He gives them enhanced weapons and helps them fight the war against the Gaja clan and in return, they would help him kill Sam with all of their resources.

Sivan has over a year to kill Sam, but the Mari clan doesnʼt have one year to wait it out. Gaja clan is not exactly getting into its previous situation slowly as it should.

They are making a rapid comeback. A combined attack and a clan were destroyed with minimum casualties.

He would dare make them not meet him.

But his thoughts were not as confident as time passed. Because, even by evening, he didnʼt get any call from the clanʼs leader.

He became anxious and right when he was about to make another decision, an attendant arrived.

”Young Master, the clanʼs leader has called you. You were requested to come immediately without any delay.”

”I will be there in an hour. Go and tell him.” Sivan said with a sneer. He wanted to make the clanʼs leader wait as well. Since the call came, he became arrogant once again.

The attendant shook his head at this behaviour from Sivan. He has noticed this arrogant fluctuation in Sivanʼs attitude in the past few weeks. The deal that he stuck with the clanʼs leader is making him stand on a pedestal.

But that night, it was not time for Sivan to stand on the pedestal.

Sivan felt pressure from his back and before he knew it, he was knocked down and carried out.

”I am sorry young master. This is not a normal call. It is an order.”

A man in the black muttered as he carried Sivan away.
