The Protagonist's Sister Is Actually The Strongest

[You’ve selected the [Half-Beast Demonic Transformation (A): Lv8] Skill for the core of your Specialization!]

[Please choose one of the following Options…]

The grimoire opened and showcased many options on each page. I decided to see each option first, or at least look until I found the perfect one for me. It might take a while, but I need to be careful about this stuff.

-----

[Path of the Super Little Sister]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re a Little Sister.

You’re seen as the Little Sister.

Everyone wants you to be their Little Sister.

You have an overprotective big brother.

You’re cute.

You’re small.

You’re Super Strong.

Description: As an advanced and evolved form of the Little Sister, you possess greater abilities as a supportive extra character. You might not be kidnapped as much, and you are not too unlucky anymore. Your abilities depend on boosting the abilities of everyone else and even helping them develop and evolve their potential. You’re still not that remarkable.

-----

Oh, for fuck’s sake, go away.

-----

[Path of the Magical Girl]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re a young girl.

You have powers that work depending on your Charm Stat.

You have a high amount of Charm.

You have magical abilities.

You’re cute.

You can influence others’s emotions.

You’re a ray of sunshine in the dark lives of many.

Description: A Magical Girl is not only someone who fights against evil but also brings hope and happiness to civilians, brightening their dark lives and becoming the ray of sunshine they need in their dark everyday lives. You’ll be able to transform into a Magical Girl version of yourself, with enhanced magical abilities, a dress, and even a special, cute staff. Your power will increase based on your Fame, Popularity, and Charm Stats.

-----

What the…? Fame and Popularity are stats? Will I get that if I pick this Path? It’s… interesting. I remember that I liked Magical Girls when I was like 8. I don’t like them anymore, and I think transforming into one would make me die of cringe.

Pass?

-----

[Path of the Demon Princess]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re considered a princess by many.

You are a demon or half-demon.

You have commanded and ruled over demons.

You can influence other demons.

Description: The Demon Princess is a figure of reverence and adoration by most righteous demons that still obey hierarchy systems. Barbarian demons will pay no mind to you, tough, but those that respect demon ranks will risk their lives to protect you. Your mere presence can boost their growth and power and even grant them new evolutions. You can slowly build a little demon kingdom, have demon subjects, and develop demonic nobility abilities.

-----

Not bad? But there are no demons around right now, aside from… the guys I trapped inside the Purgatory, and I am already “ruling” over them. It’s more like they’re sealed, but yeah.

Next…

-----

[Path of the Celestial Princess]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re considered a princess by many.

You are a celestial or half-celestial.

You have helped a celestial.

You have slain a celestial noble.

Description: The Celestial Princess is a figure of hope, life, and love for many Celestials. You’re seen as the representation of the {Eternal Radiance}. Celestials will obey you, love you, and protect you, and you can help them grow, evolve, and develop new abilities, leading them to a brighter future while you develop stronger light magic and healing magic. You could even create a little flying kingdom of celestials, maybe.

-----

For some reason, the description is not as sure as with the Demon Princess one. But this one doesn’t offer anything new either, so pass.

-----

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

[Path of the Nephalem]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re a celestial.

You’re a demon.

You have found harmony on both of your celestial and demon sides.

You have commanded demons or celestials.

You have overpowered and defeated demons and celestials.

You are a forbidden hybrid.

Description: Nephalem are as rare as they can be. Half celestial and half demons, these beings are often slain before they can grow any longer. And it is for a reason. Nephalems are incredibly powerful yet unstable beings. Their conflicting powers and natures help them channel the power of Chaos, but at the same time, they turn them into destructive monsters incapable of controlling themselves. You will be able to transform into a powerful Nephalem that can channel all their powers without issue and conjure Chaos Magic to overwhelm your foes.

-----

Okay, that’s a much longer description now. And I can tell why that’s the case. This feels tentative, but the whole thing about “losing your mind” is not sitting too well with me. However, it is a considerable option! Let’s check what’s next first, though.

-----

[Path of the Death Princess]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re considered a princess by the Undead.

You have risen Undead.

You are loved by Undead.

You can talk to Undead.

You command Undead.

You have interacted with more than three Death Gods.

Description: A Death Princess is a special kind of Undead that rises from the Dead every millennium. She rules over them with both love, cuteness, and wicked necrotic powers. She can rise more Undead, nurture them, and evolve them into powerful new forms. And she can make them even stronger with her mere presence. You will be able to transform into an Undead, summon an indefinite amount of them, and boost their power through the roof. However, your soul will use a tool every time you do.

-----

Wow, this one sound amazing, actually! It could help me specialize more as a Necromancer. But it is a transformation at the end, so it will only be temporary. I have to think carefully before choosing an option. But it sounds fun.

-----

[Path of the Holy Necromancer]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You can be considered somewhat of a Necromancer.

You possess the Holy Light Element Affinity.

You can control both Death and Life Essence.

You can command Undead and Celestial beings alike.

You are considered Holy by many.

You have interacted with more than three Death Gods.

You have interacted with an Archangel and Celestials.

Description: A Holy Necromancer is a very rare path; it combines two opposite elements and melds them together into a convoluted mess that somehow works. Combine the Holy and the Undead into powerful soldiers without any of their weaknesses. Holy Undead possess healing, supporting, offensive, and defensive abilities. And can further specialize into many shapes and forms. To create them, however, you require both Celestial and Death Magic, and materials, many materials. This is another reason why Holy Necromancers aren’t popular.

-----

Okay, this sounds perhaps even better than the Death Princess in many ways. Holy Undead sounds busted as hell! This is definitely going on the list of possible picks. The material problem is not something to worry about; I have money and the Hunter Market.

-----

[Path of the Demonic Insect]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You’re considered an insect by many.

You are a demon!

You have tamed insects.

You are beloved by an insect or many insects.

You have slain an insect queen.

You have made an insect god submit to you.

Description: Demonic Insects are fearful and vicious monsters. And you can turn into a giant kaiju-sized one that goes insane and destroys everything. You’ll have a super tough exoskeleton, giant claws, massive mandibles, deadly poison, powerful venomous breath, and all the things you can imagine a Demonic Insect could have while transformed. You can even reign over insects!

-----

All the good ones were at the end! This one sound just as amazing! I could turn into a giant bug and… Ugh, wait, no, this is horrible. I don’t want that. I was blinded by the power it could give me, but I don’t really like being a giant bug. Also, wouldn’t the size change make it worse for me?

I could inadvertently destroy buildings and kill people. Maybe if I can control the shape and size? I don’t like insects, but I do like Violet. There’s something special about that little guy—he’s the only one I find cute.

Okay, next, two more to go.

-----

[Path of the Constellation Streamer]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You are beloved by many Constellations.

You are hated by many Constellations.

Constellations are constantly watching you.

Constellations gift you all sorts of donations.

You bring great entertainment to Constellations.

Description: A mysterious path, the Constellation Streamer only has one ability: to be able to invite as many Constellations as possible to see them ”stream.” Once a stream begins, there’ll be a specialized chatroom where Constellations can speak more freely, send special donations, and also be chosen as Moderators for your chatroom. The donations can become a special currency that you can use to purchase a variety of rare goods and unleash the special abilities of this Path, such as Donation Boost, I’m Rich Bitch, and E-girl Aura, among others.

-----

Nope, nope, I’ve had enough of them! And you want to give them a freaking chatroom?! Also, the abilities sound so cringeworthy that I think I’m going to die.

HARD PASS.

Okay, the last one, I think it’s good…?

-----

[Path of the Herculean Legend]:

Unlocking Requirements:

You have inherited Hercules’ Legacy.

You are on your way to become a Legend.

You have a body of Steel.

You are a Warrior.

You possess the Hero Title.

You are watched by more than three Heroic Constellations.

Description: A Herculean Legend is someone who has inherited the Legacy of Hercules himself. You will inherit his immense physical strength, muscles, fighting abilities, heroism, bravery, recklessness, and boldness. You will be able to temporarily transform into a hulking warrior packed with muscles, which will greatly multiply your strength and other physical stats in exchange for your magical stats. In this form, you can wield Hercule’s Legacy, his Nameless Weapon, with a large energy cost reduction.

-----

Ooooh, this one is good! What the hell? Kind of want to pick it up! I don’t mind temporarily becoming a hot, muscular babe. I actually love those characters when they show up in stories. And this could even help me progress further in my control over the Nameless Axe-Sword.

“Alright, so either Death Princess, Holy Necromancer, Demonic Insect, or Herculean Legend…” I said while inspecting the pages. “Uuuggh, this is hard to pick! I guess I’ll scratch Demonic Insect, right?”

“Hey! Why would you?!” Sepa cried. “This is my legacy to you! Anna, pick that!”

“No!” I roared back. “My Specialization, my choice.”

“B-But giant bug…” Sepa cried.

“I don’t want to be a giant bug…” I said.

[“Isn’t it obvious? I hate to admit it, but Herculean Legend is the best. He’s a rival hero to my master Sigurd, but... I have to admit, he’s incredibly strong. Inheriting his powers would help you slowly become invincible.”]

“Hmm, maybe. I doubt it will be THAT good, but yeah, it’s good.”

As I thought about it, I suddenly checked my inventory and glanced at the items inside again. Without thinking too much, and perhaps to satiate my curiosity, I took out the [Skill Fusion Ticket (A Rank)] and tried it out.

Like, it was obvious it wouldn’t let me fuse two Paths, but I wanted to see it for the laughs, get it?

Though…

[You can use the [Skill Fusion Ticket (A Rank)] to combine two Paths, or only two Paths.]

[Once the Paths are combined, the combined form will be chosen automatically.]

[Do you wish to combine Two Paths for your Specialization? Unforeseen results may ensue.]

[Yes] [No]

Holy fuck.

Yes?

OF COURSE!

“YES!”

I quickly chose the two paths I wanted the most without hesitating, throwing away the other two as if they never interested them to begin with. The grimoire shone, absorbing the glistening silver-colored ticket; both of the pages were ripped apart and combined into a single, larger page.

The grimoire disappeared into particles of light as the page flew into my chest, but I managed to see what the system said before I felt my powers evolve.

[You have successfully fused the [Path of the Holy Necromancer] and the [Path of the Herculean Legend] into the [Path Path of of the the Holy Herculean Necromancer Legend]!]

Wait, isn’t it a bit buggy, or is it my idea? Did the system accept this to begin with, or did something else force it to accept it?

[The Path has been chosen automatically.]

[ERROR]

[Unforeseen circumstances have ensued!]

Ah, of course…
