Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

The woman’s body fragrance stimulated him, and the name Jack Smith stimulated him, too. Atlas Hallow gently inhaled her scent, his nose lightly brushing over her, and just when Charlotte Miller thought she was nearing a safe zone, a sudden, sharp pain struck her chest without warning.

It was as if the Beast’s fangs had sunk into her tender skin, and those cold, thin lips seemed to want to suck the blood from her body.

Pain... so painful...

The kind of excruciating pain that made her scalp tingle, wanting to scream, cry, and push away the beast-like man pressing on her chest, but she couldn’t do anything; she could only grit her teeth, clench her fists, and endure it all.

At this moment, Atlas was like a beast that had lost its mind. If she dared to struggle even a bit, it might not be just her chest he’d bite. Those strong, pristine teeth of his, fit to star in a toothpaste commercial, might sink directly into her neck, making her suffocate.

A faint taste of blood mixed with a bit of sourness and bitterness lingered on Atlas’s tongue as he slowly moved away from the sweet, luscious temptation. In that instance, Atlas realized he really was a beast, wanting to tear her apart and swallow her, rather than hearing any man’s name from her lips.

His lips still carried the sweetness mingled with a bit of blood as he slowly moved upward along her slightly trembling body, softly kissing the corner of her eye, gently sucking away her tears. His tongue lightly brushed her lashes, which were thick like little fans, adorned with fine tear droplets that sparkled like diamonds. One moment, he was like a terrifying beast, and the next, he was the gentlest lover in the world.

Charlotte realized how terribly naive she was. Even though she could manage many cash flows, she still couldn’t see through the human heart.

Especially the heart of Atlas Hallow.

”Does it hurt?” Atlas looked at the faint red mark on her chest, from which tiny beads of blood were oozing, looking quite horrifying.

If she said it hurt, would he stop biting?

Impossible. If he cared about her feelings, he wouldn’t be Atlas Hallow.

”It doesn’t hurt...” Charlotte stubbornly bit her lip, not out of spite, but because she realized that even if she said it hurt, it wouldn’t help.

This man, when willful, even tears couldn’t solicit a shred of mercy from him.

”Charlotte, stay far away from Jack Smith. Next time, it won’t be you I hurt; I will break his bones one by one, regardless of whose boyfriend he is, or how influential he may be. Do you understand?” Atlas spoke in a low voice, looking at the girl before him with stubborn, tear-filled eyes, which he both loved and hated.

Why be so stubborn with him?

”I’ve said it before, I’m not a whore.” By his reasoning, she couldn’t be close to any man in the world; what kind of logic was that?

”Of course, I’ll merely ensure those who have designs on you meet a miserable end.” His voice softly spread in the chilling air, making Charlotte’s hair stand on end. As time passed day by day, she found Atlas Hallow becoming more and more terrifying...
